Veggie slice and pepperoni slice!
Tracy K.

Each time we head to Monterey for vacation, this is our first stop! Always get a cool shirt and a slice!! Staff is always very friendly. There is always a spot to eat, inside or out. Line moves quickly. Fancy soda machine too! Diet vanilla Dr. Pepper? Yes please! Located right off the freeway in an outdoor mall with tons of shops!

Cute little spot at Monterey mall. Had healthier options. I'm on the dash diet this year. For health issues. But still gonna find you good eats. Good flavors, good service.

Pizza My Heart DELIVERS: We placed an order online while staying at the Pacific Gardens Inn. Since the order was done online I don't have input on the ambiance of the restaurnat, but as far as online service is concern the order we placed was accurate. The food was delicious, the chicken wings tasted AMAZING! Large portions, fresh ingredients, tasty food made our "pizza night" (during our vacay) a fun stay indoor night.

Really good pizza if you want a quick bite while shopping and good vibes in the Del Monte shopping center. Service was good.

Pretty decent pizza place. The pizza is pretty good, but what I liked about it was it wasn't very greasy. We got take out so can't say much about the restaurant, but it looked like a fun place. The cheese bread was better than expected and the pepperoni pizza was exactly as expected. Obviously popular because when I went to pick up it was pretty busy. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed when I came in but it was around 6pm on a Friday though. I'd definitely come back.

Ask the Community - Pizza My Heart

How long is the wait to pick it up?

20-30 minutes

I'm allergic to garland and onion. Is it possible to get a gluten-free pizza crust with a sauce with no garlic and no onions?

Checking out their website and the menu, I don't see a "gluten free" option, but if you customize your pizza you can do no garlic and no onions. They have vegan options as well.

Can we buy raw pizza dough from PMH?

I don't know because I always buy mine from Allegro in Carmel

Do you make the gluten free crust in house?

We do not make our rice flour crust in store.

Hi ! Love your pizza but I now have to have a gluten-free vegan diet I see your menu is vegan but do you also have gluten-free?

Yes we have a gluten free rice flour crust. It is just available in 12”

Does this place have vegan cheese?

Hi, we do not have vegan cheese but if you want to bring in your own vegan cheese we can put it on your pizza for you!

Does anyone know if they will do crustless pizza here? Don't judge ?

We will do what ever you want. Just tell us what you want and how you want us to make it. Thanks,… Read more

Our pizzas to go, got a large pepperoni, and a large slider (meatball, mushroom, onions and garlic) This was perhaps the best Chicago Deep Dish pizza I have ever had. The crust was flavorful, just thick enough to hold up, but thin enough not to fill you up. The sauce, was to me, a perfect tangy zesty tomato sauce , not spicy, containing chunks of fresh tomato. Under the sauce, enveloped within a succulent bed of cheese, were the items. The pepperoni was solid, fresh and a flavor delight, but the star was the Slider Pizza. Packed with succulent meatballs, with mushrooms, onions and garlic, each bite was a savory flavor bomb on my taste buds !

It was cozy but still OK. I'll be back.

I have started to ask.......Is it just me, or is the quality of food declining as prices increase? First of all, I have been coming to MidiCi's for a few years now and I've always enjoyed the pizza. I have only tried one salad and that is the Walnut and Gorgonzola, which is out of this world and is probably enough for two people alone. Today, unfortunately, I have to report that I had a really horrible pizza. And my friend and I agreed that we should have had the staff remake it or throw it back in the oven. We ordered the truffle and prosciutto pizza. We half prosciutto and half chicken. Although it was a gluten-free crust, I had requested the Neapolitan style, which to my understanding would have been a thicker crust. For being a thin crust it was really doughy and hard to chew. Management wasn't around at that time, so the gentleman there told us that that is the way the gluten-free crust is. Which from my experience here wasn't true. Sure the outside was cooked, but halfway through it wasn't.

Gusto is one of the few truly scratch-made Italian restaurants that specializes not only in pizza, pasta, and sauces, but also features an old-school brick, wood-fired pizza oven. Hell, they even make their own mozzarella! They have not only caught the eye of locals and Yelpers, but have also managed to earn a recommendation in the current Michelin Guide. The Good: * Private parking lot, as well as street parking. * Fabulous service from Alex! * Prices are very reasonable considering the food quality. * Local beers on tap. * Strawberry Prosciutto Salad (seasonal special) was fantastic! Who knew strawberries paired so perfectly with salty, cured prosciutto and pistachios? This might not be on the menu all the time, but if you see it, get it! * Complimentary focaccia was unbelievably soft and delicious. As if it couldn't get any better, their olive tapenade served alongside it was equally delicious, making for an unbeatable duo. * The Margherita pizza is the ultimate test of a pizza restaurant--and they passed with flying colors! It's so simple that if something isn't right, it'll be easy to spot, but everything from the homemade mozz to the slightly charred crust and the delicious sauce made this the perfect pie. I give it a score of 3.14159265359...! The Meh: * Meatballs were a touch too tough and could've been a bit more tender. They were still fuçking delicious, so honestly, who cares? The Ugly: * Despite the name, Seaside isn't the most glorious place, and this location is downright sus AF. Conclusion: Maybe one of the best meals so far of 2026. If you have any doubts about coming here, relieve yourself of them and get down here posthaste.

9.1/10 Great Pizza…read moreSpot! Ordered the Chicken Supreme and Margherita Pizza, and both absolutely delivered. Starting with the Chicken Supreme, this one really surprised me in the best way. I've never been big on chicken on pizza, but this completely changed my mind. The garlic flavor was subtle (which I appreciated since garlic can easily overpower a dish), and the creamy white sauce paired perfectly with the toppings. I'm usually not a huge white sauce fan either, but it worked beautifully here. The bacon was generous and evenly distributed throughout, adding the perfect savory touch. The crust was on the thinner side, crispy, and not greasy at all, which made every bite even better. Moving on to the Margherita Pizza, a classic and my personal must order at any pizza spot. This one did not disappoint. Fresh basil, tomatoes, olive oil, and garlic all came together perfectly. Again, I appreciated the subtle garlic flavor that enhanced rather than overwhelmed the pizza. Like the Chicken Supreme, the crust was thin, nicely crisped, and not oily or greasy. Clean flavors done right. Honestly, I can't pick a favorite because both pizzas were unique in their own way and equally satisfying. Service was great, the staff was attentive and very friendly throughout our visit. The ambiance felt a little questionable at first, but it's just a smaller establishment with a cozy vibe. They had the Olympics playing, which actually made the experience more fun and entertaining. Overall, a great spot I'd definitely return to!

It's a cozy, family-owned business. When we arrived, there was only one woman working and doing absolutely everything--taking orders, prepping, and baking. Another person eventually came in to help her, but we honestly felt for them! Despite being understaffed, they were kind and hardworking. We were so hungry that we forgot to take photos (rookie mistake, I know), but the pizza was phenomenal. We ordered: Classic Pepperoni: Perfectly greasy and crisp. BBQ Chicken: Great tangy sauce-to-topping ratio. Curry Chicken: The standout! Super flavorful and a nice twist on traditional pizza. They do not skimp on toppings which was great. It took about 30 minutes to get our food. Honestly, for a small family shop where they're making things fresh, that's not bad at all. If you're in a massive rush, be mindful, but the quality is well worth the half-hour wait. Bottom line: Support this local business! There is informal, in-door seating but it looks more like a take out place, though the prices are more high end. The reason for my three star is that the pizza ultimately was bland and most importantly the crust was undercooked. It's a pretty thick crust and ours was doughy; I had to recook to make it more firm. There wasn't much sauce and it had no flavor. The toppings seemed fresh and it is possible their Eastern pizzas are more flavorful, so if you are looking for that you should give it a try. But if you want a more traditional Italian or 'West' pizza, there are better options.

This is an update/reply to owner on 4/1:…read more I think your reply to me here is making matters worse. You're refusing to take accountability for the fact that you hired an individual who is extremely obnoxious, mouthy, and disrespectful to a customer who is having a problem due to a combination of factors - one being that you closed early on a weekend night, and the other being that a third-party service is failing to do a good job. A third-party service I might add who you have chosen to do business with. As a small business owner myself, as you pointed out, I can assure you, I will never hire a person and allow them to work at my front desk who has the audacity to treat customers as rudely as your employee did. The largest offense here was the behavior of your employee and that is the one thing you have failed to address. There are solutions to the problems you were having - one is as simple as writing a note on your door, letting your customers know that you've chosen to close early that day. Another is refusing to do business with a third-party who is making matters worse rather than better for your business. But the most important thing here is having the care And attention that is required to not hire people capable of being so rude to your customers. Your employee did not make that offer of a pizza until we pointed out that he could have done something better to address the situation rather than giving mouth. But the point here is, we did not want pizza at that time. We wanted the night before when we were in a jam, and by that point, our trust in the food at your store was completely shattered. Because if a person makes a decision to hire someone that is so rude to customers, they may also make the decision to hire a cook who spits in your food. And anyone who fails to understand or address the unacceptable behavior of their employees when it is necessary is indeed a one star establishment. This is an update: A person from Pizza My Way called me a day after I posted my original 1-star review. She was friendly and helpful, and ultimately refunded the $40. I appreciated that. So I brought my review up to 3 stars. However, the situation was seriously unacceptable. Businesses have a responsibility to hire people who are going to treat customers with respect and who are capable of responding to problems created by decisions of the restaurant and their policies. This was a stressful experience and my wife and I walked away feeling very disrespected and initially $40 poorer with no pizza and no solution. The young person working for them has no business treating customers who pay a whopping $40 for a pizza that way- and his behavior being tolerated makes it impossible for me to give the restaurant another chance - so I cannot give an honest review of their food only their service. Maybe if someday I get a call that they have let said employee go they can regain my trust and I'll give them a try because their right up the street, and perhaps I can become a regular customer since I'm so close and they can get a higher rating from me. Originally posted 5/15: Worst pizza experience on the Monterey Peninsula by far. The place just randomly closes on a Saturday night well before their posted closing time. I order for pick up, spend over $40 for one large pizza which is absolutely crazy. I mean other people might think that's normal but I think that's crazy. That doesn't matter. I was in a jam and I had to get my kids some food and was not able to get back home and cook because of an emergency at work. In any case, I pay for the pizza online and then I called to confirm and there's no answer. I call multiple times. I show up to the store in person at around 8:35, 25 minutes before they are supposed to take their last order, and the whole place is dark. The next day, I am assured by the person I speak to on the phone that I will be refunded. Later on that day, I double checked to make sure that's true and it looks like they withdrawn the money from my bank account. So I called back and the person I speak to on the phone refuses to give me their name, they take absolutely no accountability for the situation, and offer absolutely no solution. So I spent $40 on pizza I never received, I was completely unable to get the attention of the manager, and my wife, and I both had to endure rudeness, extreme rudeness from their staff. When I walked in to restate my reasonable request to no avail, the person on staff was recording me on his phone. I don't get it. I'm the customer and I've already spent money and I still haven't received any product from them. It's nothing personal. When you're closing well before you posted hours on a weekend night, when you've got some cockamamie ordering system that you've built into your website, when you can't be accountable to your customers that spend money or even polite, you deserve the bad reputation that follows.
