Unprofessional and rude staff, the worst part is I checked the ratings and talked with my family to not going there but they were so hungry and didn't care, we walked in and my daughters ordered for them as far as my doctor recommended to not eat pizza etc I had my own sandwich with me and having with my family after 10 minutes of being there the guy came to us and told you can not have other places food over here we just tried to get out of that place two guests were having lunch over there next to the exit door turned to us and thanked for coming and ordering so just surprised, bingo!!! They were from pizza factory headquarters so they were witnessing over there what's going on, I wouldn't say karma but something on time!!! read more

There isn't a buffet anymore, which I enjoyed. Apparently there wasn't enough business during the day for it. My favorite is the pesto sun-dried tomato pizza. Absolutely delicious. The breadsticks are pretty amazing, too. read more

I called 2x got hung up on by the lady who picked up the phone. Called a 3rd time and the man this time tries to blame me for having "poor" signal and that they're "very busy". I ask for a special they might have for today, they employee then proceeds with "I don't think we have none today, we're very busy". I'm a potential paying customer so why do you want to keep saying you're busy? I got it the 1st time so I was trying to make it quick. 3rd question for me was how big was the pizza and how much? He replies with a sarcastic laugh "Ha I don't know, and like I said we're very busy". Sir don't you know your menu? Can you not help a potential customer? The veggie pizza here was surprisingly good, but $25 for a 12" pizza feels quite steep. They should consider lowering their prices.

DE-LICIOUS pizza here. Cozy, clean, comfortable atmosphere with a family touch to it. Great service and you'll be met with a good sense of humor that adds to the experience. We've been here a few times so far, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. Conveniently located near a laundromat and a bowling alley, it's perfect to dine-in or get a pizza to go. We stopped here on our way back home after a long day of tourism and beach activities. Let me just say,,,, myself, my wife, and kids agree this is the best pizza we've ever had. The crust is amazing, the toppings/cheese ratio is perfect, and it isn't wildly greasy like other pizza spots. Worth every $ and we'll be making this a regular spot when we're down in Monterey!!! Pizza Factory is a large California-based chain. The franchisees at this Monterey location are an older couple. Not particularly friendly. I had their overpriced lasagne for $18.00. Shrink-flation is in full effect here. The noodles seemed a little off; the sauce was watery. I had to start dumping pepper flakes, salt, and grated parm. on it to get some flavor. The worst part is that it's supposed to be "meat" lasagne but I couldn't find any ground beef in it whatsoever. What I found was just the gross "sausage crumbles" they sell in bulk to cheap pizza parlors to toss onto combo. pizzas. Of course, when they do that, the pieces get a nice burn or sear on 'em in the oven, which leaves them palatable or even somewhat tasty. But not in lasagne: they simply get boiled along with the sauce. I also had the "dinner salad" for TWELVE dollars ($12.00). The overall volume was large but 95% of it was nothing more than coarsely chopped iceberg lettuce...and air. It had about 4 small cucumber slices, about 3 tablespoons of tiny carrot slices, about 4 tiny, wilted cherry tomatoes, and a 1/4 cup of grated mozz. Oh yeah...and about 5 stale croutons. Just....wow..... I'm rating more than 1 star because I've never had their pizza so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Also, the store itself is very clean and seems like it would be good for large groups. Lots of windows give it a bright, airy feel inside. Even though the location isn't the greatest (North Monterey) parking is ample and the area is reasonably safe. It might be good for tourists with kids who are staying in the motels along Fremont. read more

Let me be honest here. I was a general manager at a pizza place for two years. I never spoke to a customer on the phone the way this guy did on the phone. They are open till nine. I called at 8:30. I'll be honest I did used to get annoyed when people would want a delivery that late but I still made a delicious pizza and sent my driver on there way. The guy on the phone harshly demanded where I lived stating they stopped delivering at 8:30. So I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and two 20 oz Pepsis. The total was 37.00 dollars. I said well let's see this pizza should be really good at that price. The pizza was SUPER DRY and practically burnt. The icing on the cake was it arrived messed up lol. Never ordering again from this place. Also it took 50 minutes to get my pizza. I do live in del Rey oaks, still ridiculous. read more

Cute small business. It's a Mexican couple (I think) who run the business. Had a good time, they sell good beer, pizza and wings! Ranch is 10/10. Only reason for the 4 stars was because their soda machine was broken and we had bought 3 large drinks. Although they did try and fix it. It was pricey we got an XL pizza, 3 large drinks, 24 wings for about $90. I would have enjoyed some music too. It's super quiet in there so you can hear them making the pizzas in the back. Support this local business only had 2 customers while we ate. The food is bomb . An alternative to the soda machine is the bottled sodas they have. read more

Who was lying to us at first that the restroom was broken before we even ordered. As per the conversation we were allowed to use the restroom if we held the handle down for a long time. Pretty solid pizza! Nothing special, but it hits the spot. I ordered a medium Pizza Factory Special and Caesar salad, both were pretty tasty . Very quick service, and an incredibly nice family running the joint. Pizza was pretty good. I was taken back when watching one of the chefs, who wore his required mask at half mast. It covered his mouth but not his nose. How does that protect anyone? Not a single customer, except me had a mask on. Won't be back until they figure out how to wear masks. read more
