This go round we went with the Kung Pao Calamari, which was cooked perfectly (not too crispy) and paired with cherry peppers in a spicy sauce--this was not enough for sharing & was too light on the peppers, which makes the dish IMHO. Would've have loved a larger portion. Was a warm evening so got their Fig & Arugula Salad with additional chicken added--Ususally a great pairing with their balsamic glaze, only there wasn't enough dressing!! I used my partners lemon from their drink as it was crazy busy, but could've used more. Also, the chicken breast was really overcooked making the salad even more dry. A bit of a disappointment. I must say that we were outside with a large group that night & the place was packed, so expectations for service were pretty low. Surprisingly, our waitress got everyone's order correct as well as the drinks, so not so bad. Will return on a night that isn't so crazy.

We weren't even sure someone was going to come over to take our order as we only saw the bartender and no other waitstaff. Those ladies definitely hustled to manage it all. We ordered rather quickly when someone came to the table as we were afraid if we didn't it might be a long time before we saw someone again. Food took a very long time to come out, but it was worth the wait. I had a delicious Reuben with amazing house made fresh potato chips and my husband had chicken tenders and fries. This is clearly a well loved local spot. I would visit again.

Once we walked inside, I was smitten. Duffy's is that neighborhood pub you find across the pond, beautifully decorated and with a great vibe. The place was clean and our waitress was the sweetest. After getting some recommendations from the waitress, I ordered the fish and chips. These were different than what I'm used to. Instead of a big piece of fish, I two small pieces of fish. It was interesting and there was nothing special about them. The coleslaw was okay, as were the French fries. One of my friends ordered a steak (medium rare) and it was tough and overcooked. Overall, the food wasn't great, but the ambiance made up for it. Would I return to have a pint at the bar? Absolutely! Would I come hungry next time? Probably not.
