George motz, the foremost burger expert and owner of hamburger America in nyc recommended this place as a replacement for my beloved good steer restaurant that closed down after Covid. Because of his recommendation I wanted to try this out. Unfortunately it doesn't taste anything like I expected. The burger was juicy, tender but utterly tasteless. The fries weren't great either. The price is pretty good though, at $9 for a burger and fries. The waitress kept messing up our bill. I gave $12 in cash but she still billed the full amount to my friends card. Then when we spoke to her about the mistake, she said she voided the old payment but then billed him $20 extra. Wild. My friend will have to call his bank to make sure it all was voided. This experience makes me not want to go back even more especially considering the food wasn't impressive.

Ok local pub serving average Pub food...nothing special! Guinness served properly was excellent. French onion soup looked better than it tasted once you get past the nice cheese topping. We shared an order of wings which was good. The mains were meh! Fried flounder sandwich had a thin piece of overdone fish on a bun...My 12 oz burger with Bleu cheese had grayish color meat with fillers which fell apart as eaten. The best thing was the service!

Starting the check in off right! A nice IPA!

Hey hey! This was our first time at the Triangle Pub, been dying to try it! So we did. Triangle pub is a small old time pub located on a small triangle piece of land in Eastport, NY. Nicole our server took awesome care of us. She is very happy and loved her job. She gave us all her recommendations and couldn't talk high enough about them. For starters we had the generous fried artichoke hearts which came with 2 sauce dipping. One was a horseradish sauce and the other a garlic alioli sauce. Yum. For dinner we ordered a 6oz Triangle burger ($12) and for $3 additional, I got the 12oz burger ($15). The burgers were covered with fried onions, cheddar cheese, mushrooms and bacon. They were cooked perfectly! Nicole was just amazing and took great care of us. Her recommendations were the best. We will be back. Stop in and check em out, just off Sunrise highway!

Consistently good basic food served by amiable servers. Fair prices. Pretty much a local Eastport landmark.

The waitress came to take our order and returned with the drink which did not contain alcohol and wasn't even full. She never once came back to check on if we needed anything. My dinner had to go back to the kitchen as it was undercooked. Taken back by a busboy . We were finished with our dinner had asked for to go containers again with the busboy. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting to ask for a check. She kept looking right past us at her other tables. When she finally did come and ask how was everything, I said where were you before. You should have come back at some point. She said I'm busy. Ok, this is your job and you're in customer. service? You were not that busy. She did not return with our change, she had someone else bring it back. I will make sure if we return, she will not be our server!!! Super disappointed with this.

Our server came and took our drink orders and provided us with menus. We chose the pretzel sticks that come with beer cheese. Entrees were the chicken tenders with barbecue sauce and the heifer burger minus the jalapeños. Strawberry margaritas completed the order. The pretzel sticks are served piping hot, you can see the steam coming off them as you dip them in the great tasting cheese. The are soft any nicely salted, just the right amount of salt. The chicken tenders arrived covered in a great tasting barbecue sauce. Baby carrots, a side of extra barbecue sauce, and blue cheese completed the dish. There are plenty of tenders in the order, enough so that we took some home for another meal. The barbecue sauce was nice and tangy and complemented the tenders perfectly. The heifer burger was served on a nice soft bun alone with crispy bacon and gorgonzola cheese. Could have had more cheese for my taste but no complaints on what was done with it. The burger was cooked a perfect medium rare and it was well seasoned and very large. It came with a large portion of French fries and pickles on the side. The fries were very crispy and stayed hot throughout the meal. This was definitely a great meal. Service was very good as our server was very attentive and took good care of us. Been here before and we'll be going back. A great place with a large enough menu that everyone should find something they will like.

Happy Easter Day to everyone who celebrates Christian Faith…read more My Sister and I had reservations for dinner at one of the best restaurants in West Haven, in most people's opinions. Duffy's is an Irish American Pub/Restaurants owned by Christopher Walsh. Being a holiday, Duffy's is offering both their traditional and brunch menu options. The dining room and bar is decorated with strong oak furniture, tables and chairs. The historic backdrop is filled on the walls throughout the restaurant of baseball, football, political heroes and of course, a touch of Irish heritage and American pride. The staff immediately make you feel welcome and right at home with their warm demeanor and bright smiles. My Sister had the Brunch Wrap with a side of Home Fries (Sorry no picture) I had to Slow Cooker Pot Roast with Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli and Carrots. Washed it down with 2 Smith Wick's Irish Red Ales. Our waitress today was Kenzie.... She was attentive and polite, did a very good job, especially with it being very busy. Once we walked inside, I was smitten. Duffy's is that neighborhood pub you find across the pond, beautifully decorated and with a great vibe. The place was clean and our waitress was the sweetest. After getting some recommendations from the waitress, I ordered the fish and chips. These were different than what I'm used to. Instead of a big piece of fish, I two small pieces of fish. It was interesting and there was nothing special about them. The coleslaw was okay, as were the French fries. One of my friends ordered a steak (medium rare) and it was tough and overcooked. Overall, the food wasn't great, but the ambiance made up for it. Would I return to have a pint at the bar? Absolutely! Would I come hungry next time? Probably not.
