Great burgers! Eat at the bar barmaid Erin was great hostess! Burger was delicious. Also tried the prime rib, awesome well cooked!

There burgers are awesome. If you want a burger go here. The large marinated burger is the best. It was $45 for 3 people to eat we all had large burgers and 2 of us got a large beer. Can't beat the price and the burgers a amazing. read more

Is this really what Long Island is about? Strange place and strange atmosphere in my opinion. Not sure about it but the food was decent and the drinks were good enough for me read more

Food was alright. Service extremely slow and the waitress had an attitude. Waited 30 minutes for grill cheese and a burger.

I hate to give 1 star because we used to love this place, however the service has gone down hill. We were greeted with an attitude, told to go find a table and then out waiter had a "whatever" attitude. Our food- 2 sandwiches - didn't come after over 30 minutes, so we asked for the check and left. No apology, no nothing. Sorry to say we won't be back. read more

I think Elita L.'s review was pretty much spot-on: looks very much like a dump from outside, and you have to walk through the bar/lobby room to get to the dining area, which is a bit cramped and looks a lot like your parents' basement, though it has a greenhouse-like window on one side. The waitresses have been there a while, know the regulars well, and seem well prepared to handle most any situation. One of them saved me from being a bit too experimental and ordering a bad combination of ingredients. The menu is diner fare and priced similarly, but the main draw is their burgers, which range from $5.50 for a 1/4-lb. to $6.50 for a 1/2-lb. to start, with fries and a pickle spear. The add-ons are where they kill you: you can pay another $1.00 for "pizza" style sauce and mozzarella, or $0.50 for lettuce, etc. I got a 1/2-lib. pizza burger, which was tasty but overcooked (I'd asked for medium-well, and my burger was crispy on the outside). And a word to the wise: don't go crazy on the soft drinks. They cost $3 each, and there are no free refills. read more

Delicious burgers! Not the fanciest place, but you knew that. Don't judge a book by its cover with this restaurant. Good service, predictably great food. Go marinated on your burger. Great for takeout too! read more

Great place! Steak tidbits, huge cheeseburgers, huge chef's salad - all at great prices!! Best part is the waitress calling you a wimp if you turn down the 11oz burger - which is only $1 more than the 6oz! read more

Outstanding service and food at this place. Everyone is family, and no one is left out. All the bartenders are sweet and treat you like you have been coming in there for ever. Come on in, you won't be disappointed. A gemstone in the rough. read more

Food is great. We try to stop in every time we're in the area. I know everybody always talks about the burgers, and I've had them before and they're perfectly fine, but for me the real star of the menu is the Cajun Stuffed Flounder. It's always perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. Tack on a corn fritters app and you've got my standard order (although the jalapeño poppers run a close second on the app menu). It can get crowded, and sometimes service can be a bit slow, but it's always worth the visit, and I usually leave with some leftovers for the next day too. read more

I cannot believe it but I stopped here one more time as some friends wanted to try it. Let's just say we all walked out. It is nice they redid the bathroom, but that was it. Horrible. Bottom line. read more

I'm not sure what the one dopey comment by a single comment poster is about, but it is pure BS. There are no flies or any other issues like that here. Long line to the bathroom?!?! Pretarded comment. I've been coming here for almost 20 years. I've never had a bad time and even when the beer got to me once, there was no issues are anything from the ownership. These are good dudes. The food is pretty good, standard pub fare, although some of the specials can really be very good. The bar crowd is very local, never any trouble, and not the type to make outsiders feel unwelcomed. My wife and I used to go very often, several times a week, and never had a bad time. Tom even has helped with gift certificates to a local charity we were involved in. If you are contemplating going, do so. Good grub, cold drinks, and good service. There is no fly issue ffs. read more

Great place for just relaxing with family good drinks and great Food. Feels like your upstate.

Locals place to grab a brew and a burger. Older crowd while I was there on a Monday evening. Didn't have any food but, had fun playing old tunes on the juke box and having a couple beers with the hubby. Great service, relaxed and low key atmosphere. read more

Dive bar that makes the best burgers...cheap appetizers that come in large portions! We always order a bunch of apps as take out when me and hubby wanna veg in front of the tv. Not really the eat in type of place more for the local bar crowd. read more

Great staff and service. Unfortunately food was stuck in the 70's. Was not happy with the famous burger. Would just go here for a night cap. Bar area really small. read more

The triangle pub is such a fantastic place! They re-did the dining room and they have grown their bar products extensively. Their food is always fresh and the place just an overall comfy casual fun environment! read more

Went three times in one week while working Sandy Relief for my agency. Undoubtedly the best burger I've ever had. Fantastic! Inhaled this thing it was so good. Came with a generous portion of steak fries and the price was more than reasonable. Would highly recommend to anyone how likes a great burger, fast friendly service and decent prices. read more

Great food along with a fun staff. Had nothing but a great time. Kitchen was open late. The desert was fun

The Triangle Pub was disappointing. The steak tid bits were overdone, tough and not good at all. My children liked the burgers but the jalapeno poppers were bad. read more

Went downhill Mussels were old and mushy, burger was undercooked and my friend could hardly make it to the toilet when she got home from the so called chicken parm the waitress instead of apologizing and trying to fix it said "Ive never had any complaints..even though the mussels or burgers were barely touched she offered no discount.. I insisted she take off the mussels, which she did..Still got her $10 tip which killed me to leave after such a horrible experience.. read more

No frills bar atmosphere. Get the burger! It seems to be the only thing people know on the menu because it is really that good!

Excellent food for a great price! The decor is outdated, but that's not what we go there for. Staff is nice too. This is a local spot made for regulars. It's a biker bar of sorts but also a family friendly restaurant. This isn't some new age gastropub. This is old school. We usually split an order of wings and a burger. The portions are big and properly cooked. Burgers customized on a kaiser roll and wings with choice of mild or spicy with homemade blue cheese. Their menu expands far further than these two items, but we haven't tried anything else. The place has been around forever with good reason. We have yet to leave unhappy and we will be back soon. read more

Visiting Long Island I decided to visit the Triangle Pub. I know my husband and his friends use to stop there for a beer once in awhile. I should have gone elsewhere. The service was adequate, but not great. I ordered a pastrami sandwich, I am not sure what I got, but it was not pastrami! It was dry, and had none of the characteristics of real pastrami: the fat lines, crisp edges. Picture a slice of baked ham, that is what I received I also believe it was heated up in the microwave. My husband ordered a "famous" burger, meh! He asked for it medium rare, it come almost well done. The fries were tasteless and a bit soggy. I gave a star for the nice cold beer and for them taking my sandwich off the bill. read more

My wife & I stopped in here for dinner today & we were very glad that we did. I had the large marinated burger & the wife had a chicken ceasar salad. The burger was just amazing. HUGE!!...a meal & a half in itself. The chicken ceasar salad was excellent as well. Our bill came to just under $25!!...where else are you going to get dinner for two at that price? The staff was pleasant & attentive as well. The retro vibe of this place was really cool too. I felt as if I had stepped back into 1969....please don't "modernize" this place..it's perfect the way that it is. We will most certainly return, & we will add The Triangle to our small, but selective rotation of eatery's. Great place !! read more

I just finally made a yelp! And feel that I owe you guys 100 reviews!! This pub is a must stop every time I am out east! Love your food and beer of course!! read more

Good Burgers. Service is slow. Waitresses are preoccupied with other stuff always. The place is dated and needs to be changed. Same old bar crowd. Noisy at times. Good location that needs a face lift and reinvention. read more

Had the shrimp, clams , mussels marinara special, was great huge portion and sauce was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place. Famous for their burgers which are the best in the area by far read more

Good if you want that cheap burger and fries once a month with a cold beer. Everything on the menu seems to be deep fried and will harden your arteries. Also, the place smells like old wet rug and you have to walk through the group of smokers to get in the front door and through the bar which has loud Lynyrd Skynyrd music blasting on the Jukebox. Seems to be a local favorite but not for the health conscious. read more

They grind there beef for the burgers. They slice there own tid bits! Very fresh! Oh!! The wings, best in the hamptons!!!

Its the day before Christmas Eve and my father and I had lunch at the triangle pub. We ordered 2 chicken Caesar salads and 2 beers. I wish I was able to attach a photo in Yelps reviews because besides the 2 brown salads we received my father had mouse dropping in one of the lettuce leafs. I do not think I need to say anymore. I hate posting bad reviews but we are both disgusted with the triangle pub and will never go back. read more

Another great meal last night. It was my wife's birthday and she wanted to stay in so we ordered takeout. When we order takeout the order is always correct and still warm when we get it home. When we dine at the pub the service and atmosphere are always top notch. My wife and kids love the marinated burger and I'm crazy for the marinated steak tips and jambalaya. The Triangle Pub is the best restaurant in the area. read more

The best burgers! I only eat mine well done, and they still always come out juicy, and not dried out. Do yourself the favor and order the large burger, because the roll is also yummy! read more
