We've been coming to Tri-Valley Ice since they first opened and love what they have to offer. Started off just taking advantage of their open ice times. My daughter took their ice skating classes for a few years and my sons been involved with their hockey program for five years now. The rinks here are a bit on the smaller side but it's cool that they have two which allows for way more activities than what Dublin Iceland offers. Seating to watch games/practice is probably their biggest downfall here. But on the flip side they have ample locker rooms, a pro shop (that also sharpens and molds skates), and a snack bar which also serves alcohol for those really long days at the rink.

    Buckets for Novices. Thank you!!

Came here today with my 2 young daughters age 7 and 10. The Yelp reviews guided my decision to try this place because my kids have never skated before and I'm not much better than them. It was everything I was hoping it would be. 2 rinks help keep the craziness to a minimum which i really appreciated as supervising my kids AND not falling on my #$$ was adding enough anxiety. Checking in was super easy, the gentleman behind the snack bar actually helped us get checked in AND helped us with our skates which was in a different part of the facility. Friendly and accommodating. Then we got our skates, and surprisingly they were in ridiculously nice condition. Mine looked like they had been worn maybe ONCE, the blades looked brand new. My kids' were also in nice condition. So kudos to Tri Valley for properly rotating and maintaining their skate inventory! We arrived at 2:50 for a 2:45 Public Skate Session and we're on the ice by 3pm which gave us an hour and 45 mins to skate. That was plenty of time for us beginners. They had large stackable orange buckets to use as balancing aids, we needed those. It was a Sunday and not super crowded so it was PERFECT for my kids. Another plus is they have a snack bar and sell adult beverages for those so inclined. Sports were on their 2 flat screens which I'm sure are also appreciated. No lockers but cubbies under benches are available for use. I think I read that in a review so I made sure to use my smaller bag that I could keep with me while skating. The vibe was positive and it felt like a safe environment for my kids. The ONLY negative was actually outside of the facility. When we were driving into the lot there were about 10 young kids that looked like they had just finished and they were playing BALL in the middle of the lot. They didn't seem too concerned about other cars needing to park so didn't really get out of the way when cars approached. Not sure if the adults present were their supervision but they also seemed pretty lackadaisical about parking lot safety. But not really a fault of the rink operators, just not a great first impression. I'm glad it was totally the opposite inside. We will definitely return. My younger daughter wants to have her birthday here. They have party packages as well! Our visit was $12.50 a person (kids and adults ) for rink entrance and skate rental. Oh, and another $4 times 3 to the DIPPING DOTS VENDING MACHINE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR YOUNG NEW SKATERS AND FAMILIES

    Great Deal!!

Great idea of 2 rinks instead of 1 giant. My kids can fall in peace while hockey guys slapshot it up on the other side. Buckets are a great idea. And people were friendly and staff was helpful. Refreshments are plentiful and prices are Good.

Place is awesome! Brought my two kids and we had a great time! It also didn't leave a hole in my wallet, very reasonable as far as cost.

Two small ice rinks. Employees were EXTREMELY rude. Oh and just a heads up expect to pay again if you want to skate on fresh ice.

Ask the Community - Tri Valley Ice

Can we bring a pre sign waiver or do we have to sign it at the rink?

I brought a pre-signed one when we went and they accepted.

How much do the Learn to Skate sessions cost? I couldn't find a price on the website.

It's $145 for 8 sessions. Sample schedule: Tuesday 4:45-5:30 pm Jan 8- Feb 26th. When you register, it will give you all the class schedules and cost. Hope this helps.l

So I have very mixed feelings about this place. Some things are incredible. Some things are not…read moreso great. I am a member of the "Legends" club. So that to me means it's top of the line membership as indicated by their pricing and what we get. So I feel I should get top notch deals, pricing and service. Turns out, we get the same shaft as the lower club members. Starting with the good, the location is pristine. Nice area with lots of room for kids and adults to mingle and play. The wine is also pretty darn good. Of course there are some better than others but I enjoy most of their wine. The service is also for the most part very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Their food is also pretty darn good. It's not incredible, and a bit overpriced but it's fine enough. Their wine pricing is also fair (but of course with the highest membership we get the biggest discount). My biggest complaints would be the price gouging and lack of communication. We made arrangements on a Friday to show Sunday with 6 and asked for the "VIP space upgrade to lounge or upstairs Vista Patio Lounge (when available)". They said no problem. When we showed on Sunday they said it was closed with no notice. Just a sorry. OK whatever. We sit inside (6 people and 2 children) and they charge for 2 children a "non drinker" charge of $10 ($5 each). A head count charge for non-drinkers? For children? Total nonsense! I am spending over $1,200 a year here and you want to gouge me for someone's kids? Their tastings are $40 a pop which is really crazy. Our price is waived on this so that's fine but if you are not a member you are paying a lot for a little. The wines do take a bit of time to come and they don't give you a lot. Kind of a bummer waiting for the taste. We ended up with 4 appetizers (sliders $24, Charcuterie $25, Tater Tots $12 and Pretzel Bites with Grilled Sausage $16) 2 bottles of wine and $4.25 for water and the bill was over $250. Oh and top that off, with 6 people, they charge a mandatory 20% on the bill for a tip and are basing that with taxes (as the button default), not the actual sub-total so they are actually getting about 23%. All in all, I am not sure that the cost is worth what you get. I mean we are giving them a lot of money just to be members and then having to pay more and more for anything else that really should be included (like water and kids) makes this place just a bit too over-rated for me. Probably end my club membership in the fall and go someplace that doesn't place money first.

The Barn was the best fit for us. Things to note about the Barn: -There is an old wooden bar that you can move depending on where you want it -250 person capacity -There is a dusty smell to the Barn as it's older, with candles we didn't notice it -The Barn isn't super clean, there is a little bit of dust and cobwebs, but it is a barn afterall -The bathrooms are pretty minimalistic, the men's room actually doesn't have a door -There are big white panels on the indoor walls of the Barn which look great with uplighting -They make you have security, but it wasn't prohibitive or even noticeable -There is plenty of parking -They don't allow kegs -It is better for a night reception, as the night makes the Barn's flaws less noticeable -There is a minimal kitchen for a catering company to use -We rented chairs, tables, and a dance floor, rather than using what came with the Barn -They don't clean, so make sure you arrange for cleanup Overall it was perfect for our wedding, I just don't think it would be perfect for everyone's wedding. The LARPD staff were very easy to work with and we got our full deposit refunded without a problem. I'd recommend the Barn hands down for someone looking for rustic on a budget and at night :). See pics.

I had about 160 +/- guests and if you aren't hiring anyone I'd suggest to add about 4 hrs. before the start to setup all those tables and chairs that is provided by the venue. Great service before, during and after the event, however there were 2 issues I encountered. 1- we got double-booked hence the party being on Friday but we did get compensated for it. 2- i was told no alcohol and the security guards were like really?! In the end though because of the rainy weather it was meant to be because of everyone's safety. If you are creative this is the place for you (personally I'm not). I'm use to walking into hotel banquet rooms and then off to have fun so unless you hire a staff or have a great support system like me this is a good choice. We embraced the walls. Rather than covering it up our awesome DJ lighted it up did then popped it with a monogram. Overall yea I'd rent here again. The kitchen was great and we just added a little bathroom necessity basket for the guests to use. Have guests bring a jacket because it can get cold but since we were all dancing and having fun we warmed up quick!

I've been here multiple times, and it's always been clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a professional setting. It's one of those places where you can focus, have a productive conversation, and not be distracted by the environment. Looking at some of the photos and seeing how the space is set up, I can also see this being a strong option for hosting parties or personal events. It feels like the kind of place where you could have a catered dinner with friends and not have to worry about cleaning your house or dealing with restaurant wait times. From my experience, it consistently delivers on what it's supposed to be -- a reliable, comfortable space. If you've used it for an event or gathering, I'd be interested to hear how it worked for you. Give it a try and leave your review.
