Always a good experience here. The owner Danny is consistently working hard with his staff to get the job done. We frequent tri auto for oil changes. Sometimes there may be a wait but you can trust that they are doing their best to consider your time and accommodate you if you may be in a hurry. My advice is to call ahead if you are in a rush to avoid disappointment. Just like other places, they have peak hours and times where there is less traffic. Called in the day before, explained that my brakes make super loud squeaky noise and asked if I can take my car in. Owner said yes come in the next day, I showed up, and was greeted with a bunch of questions like "what am i supposed to do if your car isn't making the noise right now?". I had clearly mentioned that it happens after a long drive and the whole reason that I needed to go in was because I don't know what the issue is. The owner turned me down rudely so I took my car to WSC auto shop and they found the issue in less than 2min. Today I took my car by Tri Auto since a piece of the protective plastic under my car got pulled down from all the rain. As soon as I got there, they took my car back to look at it and see what they could do. Within less than 10 minutes, I saw them pull my car back out to the front and Danny walked in and said that my keys were in my car and it was ready to go. I had some pink fluid leak from the engine filter and the quote I got from another mechanic is in the $1200 range. I was referred to Tri Auto by another car mechanic. Danny did the job for $600 all inclusave. A few days later, the engine light is on again, and Danny changed the O2 filter for $300. A few days later, there's a battery sign shown up on my control board , and i thought it's an issue again. I brought the car to Danny again and he told me it's something about my hybrid battery. Danny he doesn't know how to fix the hybrid battery. So i brought the car to Longo lexus and was told by Longo guy at the waiting lane that it is a display only and nothing wrong with it. By my 3 interactions with danny, i'd say his pros are lower rates, fast turnaround and same day services on small repairs. His cons are limited knowledge related to hybrid system, and probably not so deep knowledge on complex repairs. So use him if you repairs are intermediate yet not extensive. Leave the engine repairs to dealer. let him handle the filter, tanks, transmission, tires, A/Cs etc. read more

I came here knowing I needed a new wheel bearing, and had two lights on my dash the ABS and VHS and I told the shop owner Danny I'm almost positive I need a new bearing he looked at my car and assured me I needed new brake pads. So I get the new brake pads then when I get my car back all the lights are still on my dash and my car is still making the noise a bad bearing would make. I go to another mechanic to find out I needed a new bearing mine was so bad I was at risk of causing an accident and i also needed a new censor to clear the lights from my dashboard. My car was also making a horrible vibration sound when driving after getting it done from Tri Auto and it was due to them not even putting my brake pads in correctly DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Went to a few places to get my car checked and service for "shaking." One commercial place actually serviced it and re-assured me that they had the answer. Needless to say - they did not fix it. I looked around and found this place TRI-AUTO and could not be happier from result but very happy from the way I was treated from the moment I met Danny. He greeted me and asked me for what is possibly wrong for diagnosis as he passed by. He came back and offered to test drive my car and took me along. Though the issue did not surface during the drive and it was evident how busy he was - he politely asked me to come in earlier the following morning. I did and gladly put me on track and fixed the issue. His diagnosis was not only on-point but he told me how it would be following my departure from the "shop." I just left Crown Lexus in Ontario. I went in there just for a synthetic oil change and after about two hours the service tech gave me four recommendations and that I needed to get them done ASAP with a cost of about $8000. I ended up calling Tri-Auto to get a second opinion and I spoke with Danny the owner. He told me to come on down and when I got there he immediately put my car on the rack.
