We saw a sign for "Nicole Miller" in the window at Khakis so we had to stop in, Nicole Miller's designs are always adorable even if they are out of our price range. Before we could even make it to the women's room in the store, however, we were greeted by a nice salesman that reminded me of my grandpa who reminded us Father's Day was coming up. He immediately started asking questions about our dad to determine what he might like for the holiday. We described our dad and before we knew it we had a pair of nice linen khaki shorts and a plethora of shirts to choose from. Brands I saw were Burberry and Legends. The shorts themselves were on sale for $75 so I was happy with that price but couldn't afford to get a shirt too. After settling on just the shorts we went to look in the women's section while the salesman gift wrapped my purchase. My sister found a gorgeous Nicole Miller black dress in a petite (she was thrilled) and wanted to try it on. Unfortunately, the complicated wrap dress refused to be wearable...we even called the sales lady back and she couldn't figure it out! I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

But that probably would have cost me a lot of money over the years. A specific pair of shoes brought me in and even though they didn't fit the way I liked I quickly found another pair. I ended up purchasing a nice pair of brown leather Nikes. The selection of shoes consists of skater and hip hop style sneakers from brands like Vans, Nike, and Adidas. They appear to carry limited edition styles from all the brands. Before I left the store I looked around at some of the clothing. There were t-shirts, hoodies, jogger pants, and jackets that followed in the same athleisure style as the shoes. There was even a small discount section in back where I found an awesome Alpha Industries flight jacket for half off. As soon as I tried it on I knew that I couldn't live without it. They carry both men's and women's merchandise, however, the selection for men is noticeably larger. The women's selection is similar to men's in both brands and styles. Unheardof also has it's own brand of clothing. I noticed that one section of the wall was covered in skateboards so I assume those were for sale as well. The store is clean with a hip boutique feel and lots of colors and open space that feels welcoming and makes it easy to shop. The employee that helped me was nice, helpful, and polite.
