My roommate and I were in need of tuxedos for a wedding we had in two days. This was both of our first time ordering tuxes and we were not aware most places require 2-4 weeks notice to get a rental. That isn't the case for Mr. Tuxedo, though. We worked with Sean who had us in-and-out in half an hour and we were able to pick up both of our tuxes next-day. I could not be MORE happy about the excellent service we were provided. It felt like the small-town, family atmosphere you just don't get with businesses anymore. Stop looking for any other cleaner/tuxedo renter, this is the place you need to go. I had a family wedding to attend and I needed to get my suit dry-cleaned last minute due to my date changing her dress. Sean Kelley was immensely helpful and timely with the process, helping get my suit dry-cleaned and returned to me within two days of dropping it off. Not only that, but we chatted for around half an hour both for drop off and pickup because he is such friendly guy and outgoing. By the time I had left the establishment, I had a fully dry-cleaned suit, multiple restaurant recommendations, and a friend I feel I can count on if I'm ever in an attire pinch. I've used Mr Tuxedo for years. Most recently I was invited to a black tie fundraiser in NYC -- but totally forgot about it until 3 days before. Being from NYC, every local place here, particularly Men's Wearhouse wanted to charge me extra for the quick turnaround, along with charging me for stuff I didn't need - like the shirt, studs, etc. It was honestly too painful and driving me nuts So, I decided on a total chance to call Mr Tuxedo in Cincinnati and see if they could bail me out. The manager (Sean) was incredibly nice, took my measurements and was able to FedEx me the suit overnight. No extra fee beyond the shipping. He even included two jackets to make sure the fitting was correct. Oh, and he was like "we trust you to get it back to us in a week". Incredible. There aren't many businesses willing to go out of their way like that. read more

It's the little things that count. I was in from out of town, stopped in because I had forgotten to bring a couple of accessories with me. Sean welcomed me, helped me out immediately, had me on my way in five minutes with a smile, even though I wasn't a full rental customer. This place was recommended to me by a friend so I was optimistic going here but ended up so disappointed with them. To start with, every time I was in or talked to them on the phone, they seemed disorganized. When my wedding party went to pick up their tuxes, they had the wrong sizes pulled. Fortunately the guys tried them on before leaving the shop and they had the right sizes on hand so were able to straighten it out on the spot but it was worrisome nonetheless. My frustration with the shop culminated when I lost part of my deposit because they were so disorganized. They only accept cash or check which is inconvenient but beyond that left them with poor records in resolving my complaint. Long story short, they gave part of my deposit back to the wrong person in our wedding party and only half back to a guy who was returning 2 tuxes (same condition as when they were picked up). I can only assume this is because they were too busy to notice that 1 guy was returning 2 tuxes so we only got 1 tux worth of a deposit back. When I called after getting home from our honeymoon, they had absolutely no record of this, had to call each of the guys returning tuxes and I still have not heard that I will get the portion of my deposit back that they owe me. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else for equivalent prices. read more

I found out that I had to go to this Black Tie event at the last minute for work. I did not think I would be able to get a tuxedo in such a short amount of time, but thank goodness for Mr. Tuxedo. I got my measurements done and tried out the tux. It was amazing. The manager was friendly and accommodating. The event went great and I even got complements on the tux. I returned it the next day with no problems. If I ever need to rent a tuxedo again, I will definitely go back to Mr. Tuxedo. read more

I was in from out of town on a Saturday morning and found out that I needed a tuxedo that night. I called, and they saved the day. The owner brought in his tailor on a Saturday and they set me up on the spot. The tux looked great! They even picked up the tuxedo at my hotel Monday morning (I had to leave on Sunday). Avoid this cleaner. I have just went through an ordeal where I put my suit in, had a guarantee for a pick up the day of a wedding I was attending and the suit was not ready. The sales associate Ian, said sorry but it wasn't there problem! From there, I asked if I could rent a tux, seems like a no brainer because they rent tuxes. He says, no. Great. This is a black tie wedding, I only have one black suit with them, and the wedding is in hours. I go to Macy's and buy the same exact suit and go to the wedding. After days of tracking down a manager, I finally get Sean Kelly. He seems nice enough and I try to get reimbursed for the cost of buying a suit or at least splitting it with the cleaners. After waiting for days, he tells me that he's talked to his lawyer friend and that he will only offer 40$ reimbursement on a 275$ suit that I would have not needed to buy if he didn't screw up. I told them that they could have the suit, or split the bill, very willing to work something out. Sean said, "My good friend is a lawyer, he says I don't have to pay." In the meantime, he said he was going to talk to the owner? That didn't happen, apparently he later admitted that the owner is an Absentee Owner, so he is running the show. This place is a nightmare, avoid at all costs! There tag line is "ask one of my customers," so here's a customer letting you know that you don't ever want to deal with these people. read more

Great Customer service. I had to change my vest at the last minute. The store was closed at 5 pm and it was 5.45. I called them and luckily Sean was there. Use this place for my wedding and by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had renting anything would never use this place again. After speaking with the manager over 4 times about the colors and size he assured everything was in stock.So big day gets here and when we get there to pick up everything and everything is there but all the wrong colors and had to tell them once again what it was supposed to be. After taking almost 45 mins to get the right colors he doesn't have the right size vest to fit 2 of us so we have to only button top two buttons to hide under tux.Were're 220 and 260 athletic so asking for XL isn't too much to as for is it? So after finally getting everything together we finally got everything together we had so much trouble the poor guy offered to to put the things in the trunk meanwhile my son couldn't try his things on because of family that would be watching him lived too far away so we made sure we brought him in to get measured by Sean Mr.tuxedo himself. With that said once we got to the church to dress my nothing fit had to tuck everything back oh and the employee gave me a men's 11 not a boys so my bestman had to run back to swap shoes back out making the weeding start 15 mins late and after all of this all Sean could say is..............hey at least u guys made it though the day.......needless to say please if u have more than one tux do not visit this place just spend a couple extra dollars for the peace of mind....there is a reason they don't let u leave reviews on their website read more

I used Mr Tuxedo for my wedding. Needed 5 tuxedos in all. Sean and his staff were very professional and did a very good job. They were very welcoming when I first walked in to get fitted and Sean made it a point to call me several days before my wedding to confirm that everything was in order and ready to go. They have a very large variety of vest colors and tuxedo styles. Definitely on par with the larger department stores, even though they're a smaller shop. The clothing is not of super high-quality if that's what you're looking for (a few of our vests had a couple pils). However this is only if you get up close. I was very pleased with how my groomsman and I looked on my wedding day. Only complaint I have is that they do not accept credit cards (which to their credit, they have a big sign stating this - they do accept cash and checks though). The prices are reasonable relative to the bigger department stores. I don't wear tuxedos that often but if I needed one I would definitely use Mr. tuxedo again. read more
