I've had them repair everything from buttons and pants to sewing patches on a backpack.....all done well. They also make custom suits, but I haven't gone down that road yet. They're located right downtown on 7th St. near the Macy's HQ. There is plenty of street parking. On an historical note,the east side of their building (connected to it ) is literally the thinnest building in Cincinnati. You'll have to cross the street to fully gauge it, but you'll see that a very very thin building was built between two others sometime in the late 1800's or early 1900's. It's pretty cool. You can use Google Maps' streetview to see it as well.....check it out!!

After they altered the bosom area, there was a two inch gap between the zipper sides. Once zipped, the top created back cleavage at her spine and compressed my daughter's chest and rib cage, making it difficult for her to breathe. The seamstress tried to convince me this was normal, which made no sense. There were two sections of cut material from the bodice in the garment bag. It was obvious too much fabric had been cut away, which explained how this dress had suddenly become a size smaller. It would have been better customer relations if someone admitted what had happened. They made the dress wearable again with other alterations.

I used Yelp's "Request Pricing" feature to ask British Custom Tailors, along with some other tailors, if they would be able to handle my tailoring job within the week. This shop is near Holiday Manor, and it was neat seeing how it has an elegant showroom in front and then a larger area in back where the alterations are made. Men's suits seem to be their focus, so if that's something you're in the market for, definitely check them out. My pants were done less than a week later, and they were hemmed perfectly. I also got a text to let me know they were ready to be picked up. I'll definitely be back here when I have more alterations that need to be done.
