Emily took a very loose fitting dress top and tailored it to fit perfect! Also replaced a zipper in a pair of slacks within a week's time! She is so professional and now working on reconstructing a dress that is way too big and sizing down. I highly recommend her and reply's promptly. read more

Emily was fantastic! I came to her for some alterations to my wedding dress and it fits perfectly. It was a fast process so that I had my wedding dress well in advance. She was great to work with and the location is pretty easy to get to. read more

What a fantastic little shop! Definitely a must go too. They have a ton of stuff to choose from

Excellently crafted alterations. I highly recommend Emily for any alterations you might have.

Emily is a miracle worker. I'm so grateful that yelp lead me to her studio and that she was able to help me repair a vintage jean jacket that had ripped badly at the shoulder. She also helped fix a few other rips and tears in some favorite items of mine, saving them from the recycling bin and putting them back on my hangers! She is very easy to work with, quick and clear communication, and very fair pricing, and superior quality work. I could not be happier with the results. read more

Amazing alterations for a great price! Was able to bring in a dress that was significantly too large and made it look so much better. Friendly and accommodating! read more

Emily did a great job, very happy with my repairs. Very responsive, quick and reasonably priced. Will recommend and use in the future. Thanks again read more

Emily was amazing! I needed a dress hemmed. She responded quickly, instructions were very clear, she took her time to confirm everything and the alterations were beautiful! Highly recommend! read more

I had a challenging piece that required alterations, and Emily was absolutely amazing. Her turnaround time was reasonable, and she was able to complete the work with minimal information from me. The price she charged was well worth the quality of her work. Will 100% use in the future! read more

I went to Nvsion several times when it was based in Northside next to the Comet. The owner was always super nice and helpful. I always loved all the items she had curated and bought many things. I especially appreciated some alterations she did for me when I bought a vintage dress to wear as a bridesmaid. She made it look even better than it was originally. Highly recommend anything she has her hand in! read more

I found Emily online and her reviews were excellent. So I sent her a text and she was able to meet me the next day. I had asked her if there was anything she could do to help me fit into a 1920's vintage suit I had. Unfortunately, the suit vest I was asking about was unable to be altered. Emily was honest and let me know that I should let this one go. She was honest and able to fit me into her busy schedule, what more could you ask for. She has my trust and I will be using her again for my next suit alterations. read more

Emily was flexible with scheduling an appointment and so efficient with our meeting. I would highly recommend her.

I did a big job of around twenty t-shirts with iron-on designs and lettering. Tugging at all the corners of every item on every shirt I found a couple were loose, but they were fixed promptly for free. Very professional. Highly recommended. read more

I needed my bridesmaids dress hemmed Emily helped me out! Found out I need more let out around the bodice and she fixed that for me too! Got everything done in a few weeks:) read more

Went to Emily at NVISION to alter a bridesmaid's dress this winter and had an excellent experience. I needed a quick turnaround on the alterations and she got it back to me even sooner than I had asked for it! Very friendly, reasonably priced, and COVID safe. I'll go back for all of my alterations! read more

clothing is unique and of high quality, and the staff is friendly and fashion-savvy recently picked up a stunning NVISION that I receive compliments on every time I wear it read more

I definitely think NVISION is one of the best thrift shops in the city. Prices are reasonable, all of the clothes are in good condition and the staff is nice and helpful. I hadn't been since they expanded to the other side of the store where mostly furniture is set up. I found a great golden clutch, that looked like it could have been brand new. My first stop there (quite a while ago) I got the most amazing yellow jacket. Don't skip the basement-- good stuff is down there! read more

I really like this place. I wanted to get my suit altered for fitting which I'd bought a few weeks earlier, and zeroed in on this place as it looked the most reasonable one amongst places that were open that day. The owner, Emily, was always responsive to my messages and friendly in person. The pants needed to adjusted for length and blazer for fitting and sleeve length. She did a good job while taking measurements and with the final alteration. Now my suit fits me perfectly. I wasn't particular about getting the work done soon, so she took 3 weeks to complete it, which I didn't care about. But she said she prioritizes the work according to clients needs, so I'm guessing she can do it in a few days if needed. The store in itself is jam-packed with clothes, jewelry, knickknacks, furniture and decorative items of various kinds. It has a very good collection of items but slightly pricey for me. But I'm sure if you're looking for unique stuff to wear for a party or music festival, this'd be great place to check out. I didn't go to the basement, but I'm sure the collection there would be just as good. read more

NVISION is a really great vintage store. Great selection of clothing for women and men. Plenty of cool non-clothing items, too. Furniture, lamps, toys, art, and lots of other unique stuff from decades past. Don't neglect to check out the basement, either. Tons of great coats, weird artwork and funky-ass light fixtures reside down there. Prices are reasonable, and the owner can do alterations if need be. If you like vintage shops, this one is hard to beat. read more

Was doing "a day in Northside" this weekend and have been dying to go to NVision after seeing their ads up on Craigslist for furniture. It's furniture and so much more! I got a really cute jacket and sweater along with a velvet painting of a siamese kitty (looks just like my Mo)! I love this store and will definitely be headed back!!!! read more

I love being wrong when I think to myself, "Another day, another vintage store". I'm so resigned to walking into vintage or antique stores and finding just another junk store with more stuff to clutter my space that even after seeing the fantastic window displays I didn't bother. On a sweltering Saturday after spending all afternoon in the back yard we decided to head to the Comet for some air conditioned food and were drawn to the comfy, covered chairs in mustard and aquamarine sitting on the sidewalk. It didn't take long for us to start browsing the interior of the shop. Not only does this store host some of the best priced vintage lamps and furniture I've seen but they also were showcasing artwork by one of my favorite local artists, N. Wright. The clothing selection was impressive though I wish they would have had more shoes. The staff (one dark haired woman in a short dress and tattoos) was friendly enough to answer any questions and tell us there was more furniture downstairs but stayed out of our way as we browsed. I appreciate being able to look around undisturbed and still know someone is available. She busied herself keeping the pillows, clothing and other merchandise straightened and looking it's best. If you're looking for bad ass furnishings and clothing I'd have a hard time recommending anywhere else, do you know how hard it is to find killer lamps in this town? I can't believe I've never visited this store, especially since they've been open since February. The website is well done, easy to navigate and informative. This shop also offers clothing alterations and custom fitting as well as free local delivery within 10 miles of the shop. read more

NVISION opened in early 2008 right next to the Comet in Northside. It's a boutique that specializes in vintage, kitschy fashion, furniture, and accessories. It also features some crafts by local artists and designers, a lot of it repurposing vintage materials. The walls are used to display an eclectic collection of art, recently ranging from hand-painted movie posters from Ghana to "Please?" prints [an homage to local slang] to amazing b/w photographs of bull-fighting. The selection changes regularly, which makes it hard to know what to expect when you go, but that's the beauty of visiting an independent business whose wares are curated with such an individual vision. read more

Everything Was So Different! It Was An Array Of Fashion And Getting Inside To Actually See It is The Best Part! They Have So Many Different Style Of Clothes To Choose From Weather It's Vintage Or New!! read more

I loved this store! I didn't get to browse quite as deeply as I wanted because I needed a restroom really urgently, but the selection seemed really nicely curated, the store was laid out well, and I will definitely be back soon. Highlights: I loved the jewelry section. Some really cool pieces and very affordable. The furniture! Mid-century mod is my effin' jam, you guys. There was a knock-off Eames rocker in the window so you know I had to go in. (mumble mumble) this might have been where I ran out doing the "hold it, hold it" shuffle, but I'll get a better description next time. read more

Emily is a champ! Sewed my pants a new lease on life as I was wearing them today. Super knowledgeable and professional! And also the sweetest. 10/10, would shop/ get alterations again!!! read more

Incredible experience!! Emily is an absolute pleasure to work with. Her turn around time and willingness to last minute help was beyond kind. Highly recommend her for any of your alteration needs! read more

NVISION - Used, Vintage & Consignment Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

Wonderful. Like the consignment shops of NYC but with Ohio prices. The layout is awesome and pleasant to walk through. Treasures are hidden in every direction. read more

I fell in love with this place the moment I walked in! It feels like a combination of the vintage store in Desperately Seeking Susan and the record store in Pretty in Pink. Emily is the real deal. She has an amazing eye, is kind and approachable and does beautiful alteration work. A few months ago while having some clothes altered, I mentioned to Emily that I had always wanted to learn to alter and sew my own clothing. Months later after having taken weekly sewing classes at nvision, I have made skirts, altered collars, changed necklines of dresses, made a shirt and even a blazer and I'm still learning. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

I've been going to NVision for a few years now and they are awesome! They have a great selection of vintage clothing and furniture at very reasonable prices. The owner, Emily, also does alterations. I have brought in some more complex requests and she always does a great job at a very fair price. Definitely an asset to Cincinnati and they're right next to the Comet in Northside (which is also awesome). Highly recommend! read more

This is definitely my second favorite shop in Cincinnati for vintage, thrift, eclectic choices. (Mustard Seed will always fill the No. 1 spot). There are endless dresses, shoes, belts, artwork, furniture, purses and other clothing here. The quality is really good; the prices are fair. The owner is helpful, friendly and does low-price, high-quality alterations. I will now always have to stop here when in Cincinnati because the variety seems to change a lot with new items and window displays. read more

NVISION is probably one of the coolest little vintage shops I have ever been to. The clothing selection was pretty good for guys - I found a sweet vintage shirt that fit me perfectly... plus some pretty sweet sunglasses. There's a ton to look at, and so many hidden gems within this store, you could easily spend an hour in this place. The selection of vintage, mid-century furniture was pretty extensive... and affordable! Unfortunately since I live in Philly, I couldn't take any of it with me... ah well... you peeps in Cincy are lucky to have this place! read more

This is a great, well-curated vintage shop on the far north side of, well, Northside. Parking can be a pain, but you can usually find a spot -- just make sure to use your emergency brake. We've purchased several reasonably priced household items here that fit in well with my boyfriend's midcentury obsession, and I've seen many great clothing items that I just didn't pick up due to sizing or budgetary concerns (their prices are reasonable; I'm just poor). The basement is kinda meh (lots of 70s polyester and expensive, costumey stuff), but you never know what you might find down there. I also saw a really nice J. Peterman coat someone had left in the bathroom/fitting room, so it's worth peeking around in there as well! read more

This little shop is a gem! For a small place, they have a surprisingly good selection of clothes. There is also local art, shoes, accessories and furniture. Bonus: they offer alterations! read more

The selection here is amazing, every time I go in I find new and fun pieces. There's plenty of racks to go through, there's a large main level with clothes and home goods and then a basement filled with more clothes. My one complaint is that it is a bit more expensive than other thrift shops in the area, but the items usually tend to be in a very good condition. The pieces I have boughten from here have been unique and they've become favorites in my wardrobe making the price worth it read more

NVision was such a blast to go through. I was looking for a 40s-esque dress, and the girl working was amazingly helpful, pulling out options and making suggestions. I ended up with a great dress. Don't forget to go downstairs! read more
