After finding a nice sports coat at the Jos A Banks outlet that needed slight tailoring I was…read moredirected to this location. Since my office is within a mile of this store it was perfect. My quest for a suit/suit coat for a wedding took me from one end of the men's clothing spectrum to the other. My first stop at another store had me trying on a fantastic sports coat that I later realized was priced at $1,200. I politely excused myself and headed for the other end of the spectrum. The other end didn't work for me either. When I went to this Jos A Banks store to get my coat tailored I looked at the rack in my size and knew I needed to bring my fashion consultant (wife) back to take a look. Between yesterday and today we spent about 4 hours in the store updating my aged wardrobe. Several coats, shirts, ties, and slacks later I'm very satisfied. I was also lucky enough to drop into a sale and find several coats on clearance that fit perfectly. And I have to admit that were it not for the sale I would have probably stopped with the one coat, slacks and shirt and made it work with one of my old ties. Seldom does value and service come together at the perfect time. A special thanks to the staff that invested so much time in helping us put together several very versatile options.

Joseph Banks happened to be running a promotion of "buy one, get one free" pants, so I called my dad (who is the store's biggest fan) and he came running down to meet us and get a good deal. The employee that helped us grabbed my boyfriend's sports coat and started pairing it with different pants until he had found the optimum pair. Unfortunately, the slacks that looked stunning with the jacket were not "ready-to-wear," they needed to be hemmed. We asked if there was any chance they could be hemmed before the store closed that evening but the employee told us the tailor was leaving as we spoke. He stopped us and ran to the back and five minutes later returned and said "go put them on so we can measure, they'll be done in less than an hour." Great! 45 minutes later we were called back to the store and my dad and boyfriend went in on an order together and got two pairs of nice dress slacks for $50 each! Not a bad deal at all. Great service and great clothing, I bought a cool pink and navy striped tie for my boyfriend while we were there.

HOWEVER, you can find absolute gems here for a tiny fraction of the original cost. They have a surprisingly large baby clothes section compared to many other stores. This location moved from one part of Brentwood Plaza to a larger space which was great. I went in…read morelooking for fitted jeans for the weekend. The staff didn't usually greet customers as they are always stocking items the few times I have been in. I was able to find what I was looking for. Often the same item may be in several locations in the store so it's about being patient and taking your time to look for the sizes you need. They have a variety of sizes including plus. They carry shoes, purses, under garments as well. I think there are also girls sizes there. I found my size and waited in line to make my purchase. Although there are usually several people working, there is only one on the register so it makes for long lines when it doesn't need to be. One customer wanted a discount so it touch longer for her to register for the text program. When I got through, the person rang me up. The experience was uneventful. Not poor customer service and not great either. I will return due to the items and prices that I like. They could would in getting customers and interaction overall. I was happy with the items that I purchased.
