She pulled extra pieces for me to try on and recommended the pair that fit best. With this selection and service, Idlewild is a great reason to shop small and local.

The owner of Bolero recognizes me and allows me to mill about the store. Craig offers me "help" multiple times and eventually creeps up behind while I'm trying to shop pointing out items and insights on items that I truly have no need or genuine interest in. Not once has he offered a cocktail (I've had to ask in the past) or acknowledged me as a repeat customer. It's time to rethink approach until then I will minimize visits. It was a bit of an urgent situation to have professional attire in a pinch, and they made it possible. I've been coming back ever since. Recently I brought in some work uniforms for alterations and they advised me on the best course of action to get them looking just right. Long story short: rather than take the items in for several customizations (which I was willing to pay for) they sized me to re-order through my employer...then, they would handle just the necessary final alterations. This was both of our…read morefirst time ordering tuxes and we were not aware most places require 2-4 weeks notice to get a rental. That isn't the case for Mr. Tuxedo, though. We worked with Sean who had us in-and-out in half an hour and we were able to pick up both of our tuxes next-day. I could not be MORE happy about the excellent service we were provided. It felt like the small-town, family atmosphere you just don't get with businesses anymore. Sean talked with us about our schooling and football, and even offered us a water when we went to leave. If you have any tuxedo or suit rental needs, Mr. Tuxedo is the FIRST PLACE to look!

If you are looking for a place to shop that has unique fines that are picked up from different designers, this is your place. I love the different options that they have to offer. Now, they are pricey! It is not your typical Boutique where are you can get a shirt for $30. But on the flipside, their items are definitely high-quality and as I mentioned unique. What I really like about this place also is you can take your items home and try them on However you would normally wear them. They take down your card number and will give you a call the next day to see what you thought. If they don't hear from you, they will charge you for all of the items (or if you like them of course) or you can bring them back as long as it's in the 24 hour. I don't know of any places that do that, but I will for sure keep coming back!

The collections are high end, and they damn sure come with a price tag. Would I wear everything in this store? Absolutely! Could I afford anything in this store? Nope. A canvas tote bag was $125 and a designer dress was $895. That being said, I appreciate what they are trying to do in this market. Just not sure if the Cincinnati client is ready for something like this yet.
