We have been dining there since the opening. Just really concerned and a little disappointed in the menu. The place is going downhill from neglect. The food is extremely boring with little taste. The chef clearly does not know what garlic, oregano or any spice are. It is not really an Italian restaurant, have you ever seen Chicken parmigiano in Italy? NO! the only dish they do in this manner is with eggplant. The service is not great, I think they had to send the wine over from Italy. I asked for ground pepper on the caesar salad since it did not have any taste which also took forever. I had the mushroom soup which was very good, rich, and creamy. I ordered the stuffed quail and my girlfriend had the ramen bowel. The food overall was average and the price didn't justify it. We ordered two drinks that didn't really have much creativity or flavor to them. The restaurant is very nice and the service is great. I think I'm just a little critical of Italian restaurants coming from the northeast where they typically give a lot or really good food for really cheap. We ordered the cannoli for desert at the end and again it was average. I had a bill for $89 for two people on a to go order. I got the sweet potato gnocchi. Not only was it visually unattractive, it was completely inedible. The gnocchi was hard and unseasoned and the only sauce was a ton of butter. It literally rolled around in the takeout box like marbles. My husband took a bite and immediately said that is awful! He is the least picky eater I know! There are too many good places to eat in Columbus to settle for very expensive bad food. We won't be back. read more

I'm usually more conservative with my 5 star handouts. This place hands down earned it tonight. I find it rare to come across a restaurant that serves correctly cooked pasta and they met my expectations. My spicy shrimp and lobster linguini was absolutely incredible. My wife had the mushroom ravioli and loved it. She usually doesn't like mushrooms, but she was feeling adventurous. We had the lobster puffs as an appetizer, which were light, flaky, and also excellent. They also served a comp bread and olive oil starter (be careful, it's very easy to fill up on itbecause it's so good). I had two local brew craft beers, one stout and one light, which were both very good. The atmosphere was very nice. Well decorated, soft lighting, and very nice staff. Our server's name was Kennedy and she did an excellent job. She was very friendly and professional. I asked several questions about the food and beer selections and she gave helpful answers to all of them. My wife and I have been keeping up with our Italian tradition for our anniversary and we both agree this is at the top of our list. We definitely plan on coming back! *2nd visit* Easily another 5 star visit. Had the blackened grouper risotto, an appetizer, and a few glasses of wine. My wife and the in-laws had shrimp scampi and Chardonnay clam spaghetti. Everything was excellent. I will definitely be back for another. *4th or 5th visit... Once again, absolutely incredible. Usually I love this place but lately the food doesn't seem as good. Some of the pasta fillings are bitter and hard to eat. Seems like the staffing issues may be impacting their food quality. so sad to say the salad and Mac and cheese I picked up at Trevioli provisional marketplace was not up the usual excellent quality we had come to expect. When salad opened a lot of brown pieces of lettuce...very little feta in it , watery as well ! yuck ! Went specifically for this salad as previously bought and was so fresh, , excellent! Not that impressed, I had the Spicey Lobster and Shrimp linguine it was indeed spicy, I love spice but for the dish it was overwhelming, took the tSte out of the Lobster and the shrimp..the Bread and Olive oil was Awesome actually the only good part of both my Husband and my meal, may they should consider not charging for that maybe make it a complimentary thing. Give guest a option to purchase more after the first...the Servers were very Young and not experienced AT ALL. Didn't even know the Menu to make suggestion for first timers,that only got worst because the section we were sitted in we were all first timers..the servers didn't have a CLUE.. it was a very disappointing for all of us... The inside is beautiful & there was live music playing which was nice. Staff was welcoming & helpful so no complaints there. I got the goat cheese Marinara with chicken Alfredo but substituted with salmon. The Marinara Dip was just good but I didn't like how hard the bread was that came with it. Way too toasted. My Alfredo was good but not great. The taste was a bit bland for me and the salmon that came with it was crispy on the outside (which I like) but dry on the inside. Would I go here again? The bread is amazing, it's warm, soft and perfect. I ordered the spicy shrimp & lobster linguini, it was amazing. It was not spicy at all but it was so amazing I didn't care. My husband ordered the duck breast risotto which was also amazing. This is made with goat cheese and it's pretty strong, so only order this if you're a fan of goat cheese. Our waitress asked if we wanted more bread before our meals came, we didn't and thankfully so. It's a lot of food especially if you say yes to more bread. Two nights ago was our third visit to Trevioli's. On our first visit the service was a little off, we could tell our server was having a bad night. But the food was so amazing we decided to return, and I'm so glad we did. Our two visits since then have been wonderful. The service is outstanding as is the food. My husband and I have lived in Columbus for over a year and we have tried many restaurants in town and I can honestly say, Trevioli's has some of the best food in the area. Their duck and goat cheese risotto is the best dish duck dish I've ever had. I get it every time we're there. My husband has tried the shrimp and lobster pasta, the scallops and risotto and the osso bucco. All three have been absolutely delicious. We will continue to go back and would recommend this place in a heart beat. read more

I visited yesterday evening for a friend's birthday dinner & was impressed by the ambiance as well as the food and drinks. The setting is intimate but relaxed, and the staff is cordial but not overbearing. When we ordered drinks we were all pleased with the quality and attention to detail that was given to each cocktail. Upon ordering, the server suggested the Duck Breast Risotto and I was not disappointed. There aren't adequate words to describe just how delicious the dish was! Sadly, regardless of what you order, you will still experience a little entree envy, as everything on the menu smells, looks and tastes incredible. My only complaint would be the somewhat slow & disjointed service we received. There wasn't much follow up after dinner orders were placed and the staff doesn't appear to believe in assisting one another when running food. However, this clearly did not impact my 5 star review, seeing as how we visited with a party of 15+ on a Tuesday night and the server handling our table was genial and accommodating. read more

We went to Columbus on a spur of the moment, weekend getaway. Amazing food and professional staff at Trevioli's at the Rapids. Definitely recommend calling ahead for reservation. We did not; however, the hostess was so helpful at finding us seating. We chose to sit at end of the bar and so glad we did. The bar staff were extremely busy yet attentive and fun to talk with. Every dish we ate and drink was delicious. A must go. Will be back there next time we are in Columbus. read more
