First time going here today . My appointment was for 7:30 and the place was already open because it seems Monday's are surgery day . I didn't have to wait long at all to be seen after filling out paperwork. I was then brought to the exam room where Regina did some eye tests before the doctor came in . I was having a really bad morning and she definitely was helpful and such a beautiful personality. After seeing the doctor I quickly got my next appointment and was finished. Total time one hour . Well, here we are a year later, and no better. Continues to mind boggle and frustrate. Prepare for an hours-long odyssey even if you've got one of the earlier appointments. Ordering and pick up of contacts continues to be a challenge if you work full time and try to squeeze in to just pick your order up. No chance it could simply be left behind the counter for you when it's paid for and the office staff could just give it to you; oh no, it's all handled separately which is colossally inefficient as you might imagine. This place is always mobbed, which I can only attribute to it being one of the only places that takes this awful VSP vision plan? I dunno. I was told they are moving to another facility on NASA Blvd next year; perhaps that will be an improvement over this building which smells of sweat and time wasted. It's also absurdly cold in the waiting room and boiling hot in the exam room (Hades). I've got a year to get my act together and try to find another provider, I guess. This one's on me. read more

From the receptionist to the Dr. NIGHTMARE Began with the rude receptionist, rude and nasty. Not just one appointment several all the same. If your appointment is at 1:00 you won't get in till 3:30. Tres Vision should be looked at by medicare. I went in for simple procedure and ended up with several?? Other patients say the same. You will sit in waiting room for hour after hour. Dr Tres ( must be the owner ) I see where the receptionist gets their rudeness from. Real piece of work there boy. Not a good place. Find another eye Dr. Tres Vision is barely a one star. You your research...unless you have a lot of time to sit and wait in a assembly line go to this place...but after 5 months cataracts removed I now find out there is a membrane growing over my two new lenses that now have to be removed!! So I'm back to square one waiting another 3 months to go back and see the doctor for him to send back to the assembly line to remove the membranes and then wait again to get fitted for glasses!! There is no way to talk to a person , must ALWAYS leave a message. They supposedly call you within 48 hours. Left multiple messages no return calls. Both of us have left messages multiple times. different phones, no return calls ... If you miss a call still, can only leave a message. They change appointments don't tell you. send you to one of the other places and don't tell you. Optometrist was good. Service and communication is a doomsday fail. Had enough will never go back. Too bad there's no way to tell someone there about it!!! read more

Dr Tres and staff are exceptional as far as knowledge and medical care The wait time shows blatant disrespect for the patients. It clearly shows that whomever is in control of booking, does not have compassion for the patient need to work, get day care, rides, etc. . read more

I signed in at the Melbourne office on Apollo. Signed in at 11:10am today to have eyeglasses that I bought from Tres Vision adjusted/repaired. Waited 20 minutes for the person at the new glasses pick up/repair desk to call for me to be helped. Another woman came in and said she was there to pick up glasses and she was immediately helped. I got up and left and told your employee who rudely had me waiting apparently indefinitely to just cross my name off the sign in list when she got around to me. And I left. I will NEVER return. read more

I was in two months ago for an eye exam. Everything, apparently, was fine. Today they had me in for a peripherals vision test (and didn't tell me the results...although I believe I did fine) and now they want me to come back next month for a pressure test! Why can't they do these tests at the same time? (And why do they still have a notice about getting the dangerous/deadly COVID shots at the front desk??) read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Dr Tres is excellent - his front desk staff are horrible. Booking the same time slot over and over again so you wait a minimum of 1 hour or more then you move on to see one of the Dr.s you wait 30 minutes or more in a room. Then I get a bill for a 30 minute appt for $185.00 in which I saw the Dr for 4 minutes. I make $25.00 an hour with all the waiting I have had to do for the last year they owe me money- wouldn't that be wonderful if everyone they make wait can bill them - I bet they wouldn't over book the same time slot if we could do that. I will never step foot in their offices again. The Supervisor of billing was arrogant- condescending and nasty. read more

Staff was very good. Polite and sweet. I had an appointment fir 12.10 and I arrived early, by 15 mins. I sat their for over an hour. I eventually walked up and quietly stayed my situation. They apologized and I asked why is it so long and was given the answer that it is normally an hour wait. I replied quietly said then why double book abd also have s specific time like 12.10. Made a suggestion that oerhapsthey need to let customers know of the wait. I paid my 15.00. Yiy can keep, they made anappt fir me. read more

They overbook their appointments and you'll wait 2 to 3 hours, even if you arrive at your appointment time you still wait 1 to 2 hours. If you are 4 minutes late they are ready to reschedule you or the supervisor, Nicole will say " I'm sorry but you're late, let me see what I can do". Are you kidding me!!! Meanwhile they will make you wait and wait and wait until the cows come home. The doctors might be good but , the amount of patients is unbelievable (it looks like a human FACTORY) they definitely don't consider the patients time, age, and the inconvenience for some patients who depends on family members and friends to get them to their scheduled appointments. read more

Dr McManus is the best Ophthalmologist. He did Cataract procedures on both my wife and me. They all were perfect. My wife didn't need to ware glasses since the procedures and neither do I. I have been his patient almost 13 years. I won't use anyone else. read more

well, omg! This was my second eye surgery today, and it was just amazing! The girls at the front desk are super caring and charming, I didn't have to wait long, the guys back where they give you an iv were wonderful, I think his name was John, amazing, then they made me comfortable, and I saw my gorgeous doctor Rafael, got wheeled back, I didnt feel a thing even as the anistesiologist held my hand, it seems it was over in 5 minutes, and I was dumbfounded, it's over already? I am writing this review for my husband, as he's not one to give feedback on Yelp. He went for laser surgery to clear up some cloudiness. It was today and I am hopeful that the surgery was successful. But he literally had to call and get info from the office, confirm his own surgery, get and exchange what was needed, etc. There was no communication whatsoever from them to us. While sitting in the office, there were other first-time patients looking at each other and saying things like 'What's going on here? What do we do?" So as far as communication skills, they get a big "F". read more

I just had cataracts removed from both eyes here. The surgery went very well and I am so happy to be able to see clearly again. The staff are all very friendly and kind. Dr Tres and his surgical team are absolutely wonderful! I was so nervous, but they were very reassuring. It's the kind of place where they speak to you, not at you. I had been to this office a year ago and had an ok experience. My experience on Monday was awful other than the Dr. Who was very good. The staff completely dropped the ball on my visit, which took two hours. At the end of the visit i was seated at Amanda's desk to order glasses (She is the only one that can do it apparently). After about 10 min i asked where she was and the staff member said "Oh, she won't be back for over an hour". I drove 20 miles from the beach each way and they showed no respect for my time at all. I wont be going back again! I just cant afford to spend half a day unnecessarily like that. This practice has other problems as well that they need to work on. read more

Took an hour and forty five minutes for a routine eye exam. Rediculas, then they charged me $20 for the Dr. to take 45 seconds to write a new prescription. Won't return to this practice. read more

After having both eyes done, cataract surgery, I found that the left eye is perfect, vision clear, however, right eye, which was postponed upon first surgery day for a couple weeks, was done and is blurry, see double, eye waters, sometimes pussy substance blurs vision. The eye surgeon who did the procedure was somewhat unfriendly, a bit rude, and not at all personable. I only wish that Dr Befanis could have done my surgery but unfortunately he retired shortly before I was scheduled. read more

My appointment was scheduled for 1:15pm. I did not get out until after 4:00pm. I was exhausted. After choosing frames, I was told there was a glitch with the computers and I was asked if I did not mind if she took other people while I waited. The person who fitted me for my prescription lenses took several other people after I patiently waited. She continued to have a glitch with the computer and instead wrote the order. She advised me that the glasses would be ready in three weeks. TWO WEEKS later she called me to tell me she is sorry but I have to return and confirm my frame choice again, which would add another 3 weeks. I asked for a refund. I do not recommend. read more

The management team at Brevard Eye Center is terrible. They led the business into bankruptcy and are not successful in meeting the court's requirements. Terrible communication. If you order glasses, plan to wait a month to get them because they do not pay their vendors nor place orders sometimes for a week after you pay for order. The management also has nothing but contempt for patients, clinical, and surgical staff and has an us-vs.-them mentality. read more

So I use to go to the office they had in Palm Bay. Since they closed it without letting their patients know I was forced to come to this location. First it is too small for the business it has. Second the parking is not sufficient for the patients. I drive around for 5 minutes and then parked in an employed spot. Now they are late bringing me back. Not sure I will return to this company. read more

I ordered glasses here on Nov 14th and was told they might be back before Thanksgiving. It's Dec 15th. Nobody answers the phone or returns my calls though I've left several messages. Maybe I'll get them by Christmas...at least in 2013. I'm not counting on it. read more
