Dr Ross is my Dr. on Friday 1/16, he performed a corrective procedure at the corner of my right eye. I just love him. I was very sad to learn he's moving to Delaware and won't be able to do my other two surgeries. It's a very scary path when talking about eye surgery. The reason I had this issue is I used an Orlando plastic surgeon to do lower lid surgery and he just botched it. Eventually it healed good enough that I wasn't hideous. The right corner of my eye over the years started bunching and tightening in the corner. Scar tissue I'm guessing. Dr Ross asked who I used, and as soon as plastic surgeon came out of my mouth, he said people should never use a plastic surgeon for anything but body treatments like breast, tucks, liposuction etc. I guess people aren't aware of this, I sure wasn't. Said same about the nose & ears. Who know? Said most are not qualified to do eyes as they are a more complex surgery. So far I'm on day 4 and things seem to be healing well. Not too much bruising or swelling. My post op is this Thursday. Hope he's pleased. No pain at all. Some tenderness, probably from the bruising. The surgery center staff were the nicest people I've ever had at ANY surgery center. PLYS DUDNT MAKE ME COME IN 3 hrs prior to my time. My time was 12, to me in at 1130 and took me right back. By the time I was prepped, they took me right in. What's the purpose of a three hour arrival time? This was such a great surprise. Shout out to all of the surgical staff, especially Paula. She was one of the nurses. Just so warm and comforting. The nurse anesthetist could have been on the lighter side but she was ok. Now I found his scheduler not as pleasant or friendly as everyone else I had the pleasure to work with. Dr Ross will miss you! Best of luck in Delaware. read more

Staff was very helpful. Dr. Valles is outstanding. She has helped give me relief from chronic dry eye. The only issue is about a 30 minute wait from checking in to getting seen by initial eye techs. This has happened twice. read more

This is my regular office for eye care, prescriptions for contacts and glasses and specialty care. I recently needed same day care and the staff for scheduling was wonderful and the office associates were so efficient. The doctor was there to examine my eyes so quickly. I was in and out under half an hour. Fortunately everything looked OK and nothing major had to be done. Thank you for being top notch and building my confidence. read more

She listened to my concerns, carefully read through my history and offered excellent suggestions as to what I can do to help myself. She is obviously very caring and concerned about the patient. Dr Ross is great! Arrived early (15 min) Waited less than 5 minutes and straight to appointment. He answered all my questions and I was pleased with the visit. They have no clue how to schedule appointments. They called me this morning to change our appt to - from 3. When I signed in the person in front of me had the same doctor and same time. We have been waiting for over an hour for an appt they changed. At this rate we will hopefully be seen by 3, which was my original time I will not be coming back to this Practice. I will find another doctor that can do the same thing but do it with better customer service I would give them negative rating if it allowed it read more

I was a patient of this practice for 10+ years. I recently had difficulty with my right eye shortly after cataract surgery. Dr Haft said it was dry eye and to use eye drops. This went on for at least 6 months. Rather than seeing Dr Haft again I made an appointment with the dry eye clinic doctor Dr Consbruck She started me on a regimen of eye wash and drops. I tried for three weeks with no change. Then she inserted two plugs in my eye no change again. She then spoke of a procedure called Lipaflow. I researched this procedure and was told it is a cosmetic procedure. My vision was impaired. I thank God I listened to my body and changed physicians. I am so very disappointed with Dr Haft. I did not have dry eye. I have Macular Edema that resulted in Retina surgery!! read more

We usually go to the office down in Melbourne but was pleased to find out that we can now use the Viera location since the Macular degeneration specialist works out of both offices. We had started using FEA 7 years ago because the doctor at the time was highly recommended. Since we have returned this past year it seems the wait is almost always about a hour after your scheduled appointment time. Today we are checking in and it looks like everyone has an appointment for approximately the same time with the same doctor. I realize we have a large community of retirees but that doesn't mean we have time to waste because they cannot manage a schedule. It appears volume is of greater value than quality of care. read more

Referred to this Doctor office by my optometrist. First impressions were good. Seems to be professional but also seemed to be a little too focused on bringing in the money. On my second appointment (which was totally unnecessary) I had the same eye pressure check and it was only 1 week later. My impression of the office began to decline. I've noticed that they maximize the opportunity to have you come in for office visits. I view this as milking the system. I'm currently scheduled for eye surgery in October but am considering stopping it in lieu of going to another office (that should tell you how I feel about this office). read more

I have been going to this office for about 4 years. Today my appointment was at 2:15 so I arrived at 2:00 so I had time to fill out the papers. After waiting for 25 minutes past my scheduled appointment, I decided I would wait no longer. Since this has happened before, I decided to complain with my wallet. So I left. They schedule too many people for appointments and are always behind schedule. Your time is not as important as theirs, or they think all their patients are retired and can sit in the waiting room watch TV. Horrible appointment. Dr. Freeman has no bed-side manner. He seemed more concerned with filling out the entries on the large screen computer in his office during my appointment that I had to wait an hour after the scheduled time for to be seen. He did not seem like he was listening to me on a couple of the the things I said to him. He was really just ignoring me at that point and all into the computer. What a horrible experience! I scheduled the appointment because they claimed to accept my insurance. Upon arriving, I filled out my medical info and turned it in and the receptionist exclaimed, "$50 copay please!" Fortunately, I had my vision plan pulled up on my phone and explained to the receptionist that my copay should only be $10. I then requested that she contact my insurance company, only to find out that they lied and don't accept my insurance after all. So they were trying to stick me with the bill! Totally unethical! Revised Review: Appointment wasn't in the system, staff at counter didn't seem to knowledgable.

I was really worried when I started seeing floating objects and flashes of light. I called and the receptionist got me in that same day to see Dr Parihar. He explained that I have a vitreous detachment. Told me what to watch for and put my mind at rest. He has had me back for rechecks and I'm doing fine I have found everyone to be very friendly and efficient. I recommend Florida Eye all the time read more
