Front desk members are friendly, the place is cleaned thoroughly, and Dr. Calhoun is very patient and informative.

Worse customer service of ant Pearle Vision I have been to. Very patronizing and rude. Will no longer use Pearle for any eye glass needs.

Zero stars! Florida eye institute in Melbourne FL! Do not go unless these are the last providers on…read morethe planet and you have the entire day to wait on the subpar service because they will keep you there all day. This review isn't going to hurt their take home pay... but if it thwarts one person away from this "institute" I will have fond my job. If lying through your teeth while saying, "they are bringing him back next" was an Olympic sport, this front desk would have gold medals. Then when you get to the back it is a continuous shuffling of more persons I wouldn't hire to clean out a barn stall with the first stop at a woman who had the personality of a donkey. To tell someone "they were next", "shouldn't be much longer" (and if you say something they take others in front of you in their sick power controlling behavior) so when you are there from 915 AM (after a 50 min drive!) then aren't leaning until 11:52 because they gaggle of girls saying "won't be much longer" now want to go to lunch so they can fuel up to start the Olympic sport of telling the afternoon crowd, "it shouldn't be too much longer". Oh... and I reached out to speak to an administrator, well you guessed it. No response! She must be the speaker at their covered dish luncheon explaining how to say "we don't give a d### about the patient's time or concerns" in new ways. "Shouldn't he to much longer", "they have his chart now", "we are short staffed today","equipment down"..... never the truth ! Never would you like to reappoint, never an apology! I hear the doctor is good here. 1:23 do one doctor doesn't balance out the 23 others on staff. Choose another eye doctor.

People don't want to wait hours to see the doctors. It's not easy sitting together with people…read morecoughing and sneezing in a small room. I feel sorry for staff that has to deal with this every day. I looked elsewhere.

I was recently told that I had an eyelid issue that required the services of an eye surgeon who…read morespecializes in eyelids. I was referred to Dr. Patricia LaFleur at the eye Institute for medicine and surgery. I was quite apprehensive as I have never had any type of eyelid surgery or eye. surgery or facial surgery before. I think that Dr. LaFleur was the nicest person I've ever met. Honestly. She put me at ease right away and was so kind and understanding, particularly given that I was a bit nervous. She answered all of my questions and was very patient with me. The surgery went extraordinarily well and it is as though the condition was never there to begin with. I was also concerned about the possibility of scarring at the incision site but I am so pleased to say that there's no evidence of scarring whatsoever. On another note, her assistants in the Office were also nice, friendly and polite. They were very professional and obviously everyone had a great deal of experience. The whole situation was as excellent as it possibly could be. If somebody else needs this kind of medical service and they live anywhere in the Melbourne, Suntree, or Rockledge area, take it from me, there's no need to travel all the way to Bascom Palmer or to mayo clinic. We're fortunate to have the best eyelid surgeon anywhere right here in Melbourne. Her name is Dr. Patricia LaFleur and she is a surgeon at the eye Institute for medicine and surgery.
