I was given the price $130 which I felt was reasonable. The day of my appointment, I was asked for my insurance card which again I told them it did not cover vision. Everything went well paid for my exam in full about a couple of weeks or month went by and I got a bill in the mail for an additional 76 dollars. I called to find out why was I being billed when I paid for my exam in full. I was told by the lady in office she had spoken to the eye doctor, and I just needed to pay an additional $10 dollars. I sent in a check for $10 and a week later received another bill in the mail for an addition $86 dollars called spoke to someone different was told they would get back to me and nobody got back to me. When I received another bill, I went to the office and was told that since they billed my insurance, and it didn't cover total expense that the additional cost was my responsibility. Oh, she did say she would waive the $20 dollar, I guess late fee. I will never ever go here again. If you go for an eye exam here and they give you a price you may want to get it in writing and if you do not have vision insurance don't give them your insurance card if you do you may get another bill in the mail.

Dr. Nass explains and teaches as he works and is extremely personable. He even gave my kids an idea for a science fair project. When I first started going to Dr. Nass I was having a horrible time with contact lenses that had been fitted by another doctor. Dr. Nass recognized the problem immediately and I have not had an issue in over 25 years! Dr. Nass is one of the few things I miss about living in Florida.:D

Lisa said they refuse to help us because they, "wasted too much time on calling our insurance." We have filed a grievance with our insurance company and will find another company to get our glasses.

In elementary school, the teacher said my daughter had a learning disability but couldn't tell me what she thought it was. No doctor I brought her to could figure it out. We went on for years having difficulty in school. I switched eye doctors and took her to Dr. Fisher for a first time visit just because I was no longer happy with the run of the mill optometrist we were using. Dr. Fisher immediately picked up on a problem and referred her to Dr. Rousseau who also works in his office to help with her issue. The learning disability was stemming from her vision. This office also has an OPTOS machine which I always pay extra to do instead of dilation drops. AA+++++

I took them back and Brooke, a technician, started investigating. After checking a number of factors, including getting me back in to Dr Girard right then to confirm the prescription. It was determined that the prescription itself had been miss captured. They immediately ordered replacements as a rush order. I had the right ones in two days.
