Avery knew each of their wide selection of plants and shrubs like the back of his hand. In addition to Houston Garden Centers for regular fare, I regularly enjoy shopping at Buchanan's and Joshua's nurseries because of their unique and native varieties. Today, though, I was introduced to plants and shrubs at TGU that are just as native or unique and that I had never seen in Houston before. Avery was impossibly patient, thorough, and easy to get on with as he helped me pick out good low-maintenance options for my hodge-podge cottage-style garden.
