I'm writing this review to bring serious attention to an ongoing issue at both the Bridgeland and…read moreTomball Tractor Supply Co. locations regarding the use of the pet wash station. Every time we've made the effort to drive out -- often 30 minutes each way -- with our baby and our dog, we've been met with repeated refusals from employees to use the pet wash. The excuses vary each time: "It's under maintenance," "We're about to close," "Someone else is using it," or vague reasons that feel more like avoidance than valid operational concerns. On several occasions, we weren't even allowed to check the pet wash ourselves to verify the claims. It's extremely frustrating and frankly feels like the staff simply doesn't want to deal with customers using that service. As loyal customers who have chosen TSC for both pet supplies and convenience, it's incredibly disappointing to receive this kind of treatment -- not once, but multiple times, across different locations. The lack of accountability and consistency in customer service is unacceptable. I hope this review brings this issue to the attention of store management and the corporate team. The pet wash is one of the advertised features that brings people into your stores -- please ensure your employees are trained to either provide the service as promised or communicate honestly and respectfully with your customers.

Tons of parking!!! we come here regularly for bales of hay for our sheep. I will say that they do…read moresupply a lot of the FFA kids in the area so if you were going for hay, please call and ask if they have some prior to going. I've put myself in a couple pickles before. The service is great whenever I get bales of hay, they help load them into my car, which is crazy cause I'm so used to having to throw them in the bed of my truck and now that I drive us to sedan it's a lot harder to load. They have great prices. They have a huge selection on feed for your animals. They even have food for your dogs if you'd like to look at ingredients I know my sister-in-law comes to this location as well to buy food for her Frenchies. I love tractor supply would definitely recommend the store if you have any farm animals that are not on a commercial levels scale or if you have dogs or if you just want some Christmas decorations, it's crazy they have a farmhouse style for decor.

Weird occurrence at the back counter. I'm a gun advocate and believe in the right to carry. However…read morethe weirdest thing happened, a guy in tactical pants with a mesh belt simulator to what law enforcement might wear a sleeved Glock hung front the belt along with cell phone, walkie talkie and maybe a knife or case cutter loaded up like a Batman utility belt along with a name tag not a vest. He appeared at the back counter making eye contact with everyone or attempting to surveying the area like a mall cop " uncomfortable". I understand the license to carry but this was an Ace employee loading and unloading into customers car, stocking. There's allot of liability with being an employee and carrying a gun at work. Are you trained to use it in this setting, what if it drops while you are working and fires, are you capable of protecting everyone if there is an altercation? Why are you purposely staring at everyone making eye contact?? I asked to speak to the manager, no reason was given as to why the employee was carrying a firearm, he's not a police officer, not private security, no apology was given, no reason as to why. After calling the Ace corporation and lodging a complaint, they apologized and said they would investigate why this was occurring. They did say the location was privately owned. My concerns are the safety of everyone, I have years as a regional loss prevention manager with Sam's Club and 30 years in liability insurance claims. If the retailer is going to have onsite armed security then let's place all the training and certification into the position. The last thing anyone needs to for everyone regardless of training and certification to become an are med vigilantly having a bad day or just careless. Also same location cut a piece of acrylic for me and the size is incorrect, also asked them to add color into stain and they turned the stain into reddish paint. Same guy did both things and was confused about what acrylic was thinking it was plexiglass and was completely in the dark tinting stain. By and large they are on average 15/20% higher than Lowe's or Home Depot. After the pistol there we will not be going back and we've been customers since they opened.
