Nice modern coffee place just N of Joyce (SkyTrain) station. Pretty nice place for a quick stop when waiting for the bus. This is a local chain. Parking is available on Joyce, as well as the streets. The place is nice and bright and spacious. There is a S facing patio as well, which I'm sure is nice during the summer months. Staff are friendly. The coffee here is pretty solid, just like the other locations.

A recent BC Hydro power outage gave me the opportunity to try working from Trees on Joyce. Normally I would order a cheesecake, but it is early in the morning and I needed my coffee and scone. The ice latte is very good. The raspberry scone is a bit denser than your normal scone, I would have preferred a smaller version.

We were nearby for a morning appointment so we stopped by this cafe to get some breakfast. I ordered a blueberry lemon loaf and ube latte. they had so many cheese cakes on display. This cafe is pretty spacious but also very busy. It was nice to sit inside to enjoy our food and drink.

Great service, great ambiance, yummy food. There are plenty of tables available both indoors and out. However, there is no table service. So if you find a free table it's difficult to keep it and get your food at the same time. Otherwise a wonderful place to meet for coffee or snacks

I had to go to the bathroom really badly and this was the nearest cafe shop from where I was. We went in got a chai latte. The chai latte was average. Nothing special. The place is known for their cheese cake. The decor is very nice in the cafe. The washroom is spacious and huge but unfortunately it's only one big stall washroom.

Good location for coffee and cheesecake. It is right by Joyce-Collingwood skytrain and bus loop. Street parking is available though it may be hard to find a spot. The coffee is decent and the muffin is nice. The place can get busy as there is no coffee shop in the area. My friend likes the place as it is a change from the usual Starbucks and Timmys. It is known for cheesecake which I have not tried as I am not a big cheesecake fan. I don't see other dessert options. There are also soups and sandwiches, muffins and scones if you are hungry. If you prefer Blenz kind of hot chocolate, do not order it here. The hot chocolate is more like chocolate milk to me or Nesquik style. Just stick to coffee and tea here.

I don't have much a sweet tooth but the odd times that I do want dessert, cheesecake is one of the things I enjoy. It's been a while since I last went to Trees Organic but my friends and I went out to celebrate my belated birthday with some delicious sushi then decided to go for some dessert afterwards. We ordered three different cheesecakes to share - blueberry, Oreo, and maple walnut. They were all equally delicious and all as good as I remember the cheesecake from Trees Organic. It is around $8 per slice but believe to be worth it for a once in a blue moon treat. They advertise their cheesecake as the best in the city and I have to say I agree.

Saw on Google map that they just newly opened last week!! So excited that I don't need to go to downtown to get their yummy cheese cakes. Got 4 different flavours, original, lime, tiramisu and (suppose coconut) but the staff gave me a wrong one, seems like it's Oreo haha They are all tasty as usual! Highly recommend it!

A very convenient location near Joyce Skytrain station with both indoor and outdoor seating. I have always quite enjoyed their cheesecake and it is my dessert of choice whenever I am there. I got some of their summer drinks (was an iced tea but can't remember which one) but thought it was a little too sweet for my liking. A bonus is that they are also open quite late into the evening which makes a good choice for an evening get-together with friends or to work/study.

Stumbled upon this place while waiting for my appointment. It is conveniently located at the Joyce-Collingwood Skytrain, close to Boundary Rd. A few more blocks and you are in Burnaby. Tried to use the washroom first but the barista made it a point to let me know it's for customer's only. I said I was going to order something after, so she gave me the code. The place is packed with students, laptops and tablets everywhere. I was lucky to find the lone seat available on a bar stool. Cozy is not something I will describe this place. Tables are close to one another, although it's clean. People are in and out because it's located in an intersection and Sky Train Station. I ordered a Raspberry White Chocolate Scone. It was alright. Didn't order coffee as I reached my caffeine limit for the day, lol! There's plenty of free parking along Joyce St.

Such a great local cafe for around joyce skytrain! Staff is always friendly and cafe is quite clean and modern looking inside. I typically always get the caramel latte either hot or iced and it never disappoints in great flavour! My boyfriend bought me a raspberry cheese cake and took it to go, I didn't eat it till 2 days after and was still so creamy and delicious! Highly recommend with a coffee! Will be going back to try their other cheesecakes now!

Well it seems ownership has changed and the new owner doesn't give two craps about prior customers, honoring discounts, replying back timely or being more friendly? Was playing email tag and finally submitted the 39 flavors and didn't hear back until after another week and then told they won't deliver only in morning when they know our reservation was for 730pm and they're open until 9? I even replied back and nothing. We own and run several business in lower mainland and in United States and this customer service from Unni Pastries is trash. At least you can do is reply back and apologize? For wasting time when I specifically told you it's for family and friends flying into town for a funeral burial. Will never use their business again. I highly suggest Mello. They replied and helped me out last minute. Shame on you! Learn how to run a business and treat customers esp previous customers who were supporting the business and fellow Krn but it's clear the new owner doesn't care about the customer or quality it's all about quantity. Maybe my 39 donuts which I offered to pay extra for time and packaging wasn't large enough but money is money. Especially during this time and economy. You should've at least replied back and even tried asking us to do pickup as the restaurant is down the road. Do better! Go to Mello which isn't too far and they bake fresh daily better pricing and reviews and consistency!

And also the more modern cold desserts such as mango, ube sago and even grass jellies. We opt to order their ube trio and it was heavenly. It had an authentic and strong ube taste. The sagos were cooked just right with the perfect texture and most importantly, it wasn't too sweet. We also ordered their instagram worthy mahjong tiles which is essentially red bean and coconut pudding. It's very cute and definitely instagram worthy. It's not too sweet and I liked that it came with a side of red bean sauce which made it less dry. The money is also made of edible paper but we didn't touch it cuz it felt weird eating it. However, it wasn't anything special and we wouldn't order it again. It was quite busy when we arrived on a Friday night but it's much easier to go in a smaller party. We were a party of 2 and walked right in even though others were waiting because they needed a bigger table. The place is clean and service was fast. They don't have a time limit even though they are busy so it's a great hang out spot. We would definitely be back to try out other items they have to offer.

I'm from the Bay Area and we have our fair share of Japanese grocery stores (shout out to Niiya in Japantown in San Francisco) but I was very excited to see the selection here. They even had Japanese canned drinks stored hot like in Japan! The take away Japanese desserts also looked good. This place is right on Robson street so a great place to grab a snack, drink, pick me up while shopping. Prices seemed reasonable. One caveat is that it can get busy in here and the aisles are small so it felt a little crowded but that's sort of like Japan as well lol so not a big deal for me. Added to the ambience.
