After leaving dinner, I decided to check this place out. I was greeted, offered a seat and a beverage as soon as I walked in. PROS:THE INTERIOR IS SOOO CUTE! Most of it is white, cute leather chairs with frilly pillows and silver accents. A glass wall fountain as well! I needed a full set acrylic ($25) and my tech's name was Lisa. She did a great job on my nails! I have a coffin shaped nail. She took her time and stopped a few times to make sure I liked the shape. CONS: Coffin shaped nails are $5 extra and matte coat is $2. Most shops I go to charge extra for length or stiletto nails. $5 is a bit steep to me. I consider matte to be a top coat so to charge $2 for it was a bit ridiculous. I've never had to pay extra for matte so I was shocked when I was told it was extra. I don't think I would be back unless I'm in Doraville again. I have shops closer to me that are more affordable.

I swear o hate having to write this review but I have to be honest... when I first started going here, it was excellent. Kim the manager is amazing and surprisingly always remembers my name. Unfortunately that's not enough. Over the years the service has went down and honestly I probably won't go back. It was a year since I been to the nails salon and it probably will be the last going to treat my nails. Smh these are my nails today, mind you I got them done on Friday. They are suppose to be coffin and my pedi... girl just look at the pictures. This is $88 will get you. Sorry not sorry. I'll be taking my money somewhere else. If you know a good salon, please let me know. I need someone to fix this mess.

It's located right next to its sister store, Treat Your Feet, on Buford Hwy. Interior is very chic and a bit small, but just perfect to cater to its customers. I liked that even if it got busy, the technicians took the time to do their best, instead of trying to make turnovers. Felt very welcomed and not rushed. Best of all, it has the BEST massage chairs that I've sat on!!! I could sit on it for hours =))) Will probably make this my new go to place for nails. Also, they offer points system, that gives you discounts. Ask about the belly card~

I will never go back and give them my service. First of all, the lady could barely understand me. Secondly, after telling her numerous of times she was hurting me she just said sorry while laughing. Wow just wow!!! And to think i payed $45 for this mess. I tried to get her to do a design on one nail and she was struggling, so i told her to forget it. Trying to charge me $10 more for a design on one finger. RIDICULOUS! Unless you're trying to overpay and get hurt in the process, don't go here! Here are some pictures of the nasty work done! You can see in some there is still blood. (That's what i get for cheating on my nail tech :( )

They always do a great job with elaborate designs that my daughter requests
    Natalie H.

They always do a stellar job when my daughter asks for elaborate designs. They've gone the extra mile with covid protocols; temp checks at the door, table shields at each station, chairs and stations spaced apart, disinfecting between clients, appts to manage the number of clients at any given time. The staff is always professional yet friendly.

    Terrible pedicure

Worst pedicure I have ever gotten. See photo. Cheap polish peeled within hours of the pedicure. Shaping was AWFUL. The technician didn't even paint my toe nail fully. Will NEVER go back.

:(. This is what my manicure looked like just a couple of days after I got it done.

My recent visit was NOT a treat to my nails... The quality of my manicure was way below the level of other nail shops I've been to frequently. Within 3 days my nail polish on my fingernails were already chipping and coming off. You can tell that the person doing my manicure didn't do a thorough and detailed job on my nails. They were painted uneven from nail to nail. Unfortunately, It was a sloppy job. Came here with a girlfriend of mine after work. We had dinner plans in the area and had a couple of hours to burn. We walked in and it was pretty empty. The set up and interior design is nice. Very high end feel. They have separate sectioned areas for those that are getting pedicures and those that are just getting manicures. We may have been the only two customers in there at that time. We were immediately taken to our separate sections. I decided to get a pedicure and manicure. I put my feet in the water tub and then was informed a few minutes in that the nail polishes I selected for my toes and hands will be an extra $5 each. I selected a different nail polish color from my hands and toes. So take note that the OPI polish with a sliver top is an extra $5. After I was informed of that I did not want to pay an extra $10. No thank you. The person doing my manicure that informed me of this was being a little pushy and told me I should because it's only an extra $5 each. Again, no thank you. I asked if I could switch the nail polishes out to the other ones that were not an extra fee... she brought me polishes that were all non-OPI brands. Yes, there were OPI brands that didn't cost the extra $5 but she brought only non OPI options. When I asked if I could please get an OPI brand in a similar color she quickly said they don't have any similar polish colors in OPI. I did see that they had similar colors in OPI on the wall of polish colors... I reluctantly just used the brand and colors she brought. The lotion that other nail salons usually apply when you get a manicure was also done here with very little lotion and not massaged in well within my arms and hands. The lotion the manicurist used here felt watery. I was disappointed of the quality of lotion hay was used as well as the half effort put in for the arm and hand massage. The person doing my pedicure was nice and pretty thorough but I did notice that they use the same ziplock bag for both feet when you pay $5 extra for the extra foot scrub. Other places use new ones for each bottom of the foot. Then when I was done I was told to go to the drying area but the ladies that did my nails just disappeared and I was aimlessly trying to figure out where that was. I had to also carry my own purse over which other salons usually help you so you don't ruin your nails while they are still wet. Then when I was done I was looking for my shoes and then realized they were back where I was sitting for my manicure and pedicure. At first I only saw someone else shoes where I took them off. By that time there was another customer sitting in that chair and my shoes were pushed back hidden behind her shoes. Based on the final overall price, the constant up charge requests (nail polish for an extra $5?? Come on...), the lady that did my manicure kept standing over me so I would finish signing and putting in my tip off of my credit card receipt (I would've preferred putting in my tip after the polish was done), the bad manicure polish job that did NOT last long (chipping in 3 days!) and done unevenly, the person doing my manicure not allowing me to use a different nail polish brand after asking if I could, and the ladies doing my manicure and pedicure talking amongst themselves in another language right in front of me, I will not recommend this place. It felt like they were talking about me especially when they talk right after they addressed something with me. I hope they improve as they are the only nail salon in the area. I would hate for customers to be coming here and spend their hard earned money and have to settle for poor customer service and a less than satisfactory manicure like the one I experienced. If you are going to charge high prices, the service, customer service/customer experience, quality, and details of the manicure should mirror that.

The Ultimate Hot Stone pedi included a mask with my legs wrapped in hot towels. Aaaaah!

I've been here twice. The first time I got a basic mani and pedi. It was good. No complaints. The price was good and it's a convenient location. Nothing I'd rave about, but they did exactly what they were supposed to. I went back yesterday. I felt like I needed a full body massage too, but also really, REALLY needed a pedi and didn't have time for both. So I got the ultimate hot stone massage. It really was the ULTIMATE!!! I didn't thorougly read the description, so I was surprised when she kept coming out with treatment after treatment. It started with a foot soak in some salts. Then a scrub, then a mask with my legs wrapped in hot towels. I thought that was it and I was feeling great. Then the lady walked out with the hot stones. That was awesome. But she wasn't done yet! After the stones came some paraffin wax. Never had that before and it was incredible! The only thing that would have made it better would have been a hot fudge sundae! The salon is cute and clean. I wish they had a staff dress code though. I'm used to going to places where they wear casual chic clothes. Some of the staff were wearing track pants and old t-shirts. And yes, there is a $5 upcharge for the longer lasting OPI with the silver cap. No signs to tell you that. The only reason I knew to ask was because I'd been to another salon with a sign saying there was an extra charge so I asked.

Shop setup. Plenty of chairs for pedicures. New tools used on each customer.

Update- I went in on a Friday afternoon for an SNS manicure and got serviced by Kei who was very gentle and didn't use the drill a whole lot. I find their SNS price to be standard for what you would pay ITP. I was much more impressed this go round than last time.

The water and mineral soak feel amazing!

These ladies were the consummate professionals. They knew their profession and were masters with their hands. Excellent customer service! We will be back the next time we are in town for sure!!

Cute decor and nice waiting area.

I have been spying this place ever since I started going to treat your feet and I finally gave in and got my nails done before my foot massage last Saturday. I was pleasantly greeted by Kim when I walked through the door. She sat me down and gave me a bucket of gel colors to choose from for my gel polish change. One thing I like is that I told her I only wanted a polish change since I just had a manicure a week ago and she didn't try to force it on me. She looked at my nail beds and agreed I could hold off. A lot of places would have tried to argue with you to get the additional $10 for the manicure. Jen did my actual gel polish change and she was a delight. We gabbed about clothing and food before I realized she had finished with my nails. I will definitely come back for the following reasons: a) clean - the interior was spotless. b) friendly service. Kim and Jen made me feel like a long time customer! c) good price ($20 for gel polish change). d) decor- calming, glamour but not overly tacky. I will give you the heads up, if you go on the weekend make an appointment. I got very lucky and they were able to squeeze me in, but make sure you make an appointment if you want a pedi and mani on the weekend.

I've officially found a permanent nail salon. Kim was very warm and welcoming. She greets everyone by their first name. Walking into the salon she already knew who I was from our initial conversation prior to my appointment. You are immediate offered something to drink once seated. This was my first time coming here and fell in love instantly. Danielle did an awesome job on my pedi and Kevin did a phenomenal job on my nails. Anyone looking for superb service come check this Salon out. Great upscale ambiance, very clean & professional . These guys all ROCK! Super convenient from my residence. I'll be back for sure!!! Thank you TREAT YOUR NAILS!!!

The polish is very uneven and she missed the side of my toe nail when polishing on ALL toes.

My first time here at Treat Your Nails. I saw the pictures and read a lot of reviews so I'm like, why not try this place out? I'm going on vacation tomorrow and I needed to get a pedicure. I'm also a nail technician but I didn't have time to do it myself nor let my co-workers do it at the salon I work at. My technician, I don't know her name, did a GREAT job with the cuticles. She took her time which is what I loved! I chose the $35 pedicure because I wanted/needed a leg/foot massage and that was when my disappointed came tumbling in. She literally put on the exfoliating scrub and rubbed it in for less than a minute! She didn't even massage it. I turned over and looked at my sister (also getting the $35 pedicure) and she shook her head. She then was just finished with the exfoliating part, BUT she did make it up for the last part where she put oil on and massaged me. That's when I noticed that she saw her co-worker, the technician next to her, doing a few steps ahead of her (when she started my sister's pedicure after me) and I think she wanted to catch up, which is understandable. I feel like if I would've went by myself and not on a Saturday morning, the massage would've actually been $35 pedicure worthy. I was better off with the $25 pedicure, but oh well. What's done is done. I don't think I'll be coming back but if I do, I'll just get the regular pedicure.

Towels need an upgrade if they have holes in them.

My daughter had a "back wax" for the first time at this facility. In preparation for this service, I Googled the rating, which returned to 4.7 Stars. We called the company to find out what to expect since this was her first time. Also, she had an event to attend and wanted to ensure there were no issues with her back after the service. The company advised us to come a few days earlier in case of minor irritation (considering eyebrow and lip waxing, you might get a minor irritation). Also, the esthetician recommended that my daughter get a "Sugar wax" service. We arrived five days before the event and had the service done. The esthetician had my daughter sign a waiver and advised her to use Neosporin or Hydrocortisone in case of minor irritation. My daughter said that the esthetician used her gloved hands as she repeatedly put the product on her back, but she didn't change the gloves between applications. My daughter thought to herself that she hoped the esthetician would change the product for each new client. Immediately after the service, walking out the door, I checked her back and saw white pimples populating on her back. My daughter didn't go back into the facility to make them aware because she had already addressed the possibility of some irritation. My daughter used hydrocortisone to help with the rash; now it's red. After the event, the rash developed fully on her entire back. The earliest we could get an appointment with a dermatologist was that Wednesday. During the visit, the dermatologist said this rash was caused by a contaminated product caused by double-dipping. She prescribed a cream to be used daily for at least two weeks, possibly three. We are still working on the rash, which has been present for seventeen days. Yesterday, we showed my daughter's back and spoke to the company about the problem. We requested a refund for the cost of the service and dermatologist visit. The problem was not a minor irritation but a massive reaction to contaminated products caused by staff negligence, which caused a full-blown rash. We asked to speak to the owner, which the esthetician declined. She responded that she would give the information to the owner and get back to us tomorrow. Today, after two follow-up calls from me, they finally responded: "Your daughter signed the waiver, which clearly states that we are not responsible for anything; therefore, they will not give a refund." In all honesty, based on yesterday's conversation with the esthetician, we didn't expect them to show good ethics or integrity. If I saw a review like this and the pictures as proof, I would say, "Thank you very much!" And move on to another company. We can only make decisions in today's world through the "Reviews." So even if you have a 5-star rating along with these business practices, I would not take the chance because you or your loved one suffers; the company moves on with business as usual. They have to be held accountable! So, we will be filing this information to The State Board of Georgia because this is a health issue that requires investigating or, at the very least, recording. No STAR ratings. We are making sure you get the information so that you can make the right decision.

My hairdresser and usual nail salon were milles away. Plus I just hadn't taken time out for myself prior along with y'know, the whole Covid thing going on. This place was taking Walk Ins as well. Took me 2 days to complete due to scheduling conflicts but well worth it. First day I was greeted by the receptionist who was super nice and professional named Ashley. She kept me informed of wait times, prices and was very pleasant throughout. Next up was my barber Ms. Laura. She was also a Supervisor. She was fabulous. Totally knowledgeable of hair textures and barbering Techniques. Thank goodness bcuz I got that water and grease hair that can be difficult at the best of times, LOL. Fun Fact: Ms. Laura Little is also a Stand Up Comedian, Hostess, and Emcee in her off time. So you can get a fresh cut and book her for your next event too! Talk about a multi-tasker!! The following morning I went back to get my pedicure. Ms. Noi Nail Tech in training is off to a great start. She was knowledgeable and precise, very personable and attentive. When she gets her own shop one day she's going to be formidable. Now. One downside was Ms. Max. She's a supervisor there who came to inspect Ms. Noi's progress after she had completed the massage and moisturizer portion of the pedicure. Not before. When she came over, there was no greeting she just stated my toe nails were deformed. And that if she had looked at my feet before that she would have refused service. Look. I'll be the first to admit I've got weird looking toe nails (they slant weirdly in opposite directions..thank you military boots) but I took umbrage at her careless remarks especially since I saw no Podiatrist Certification hanging up anywhere. I'm totally aware that these are students and would not have minded if she had completed a foot examination on every client as they took off their shoes/sandals and socks. But that wasn't the case. So she gets 3 stars due to lack of consistency. All in all this Beauty School is gonna become my go to when I pass through and I'm looking forward to great things from these students and staff in the future.

You are paying over $3,000 for tuition and receive a $8 SHEIN nail kit. Not only is this the cheapest nail kit they could give us, but you're NOT allowed to use it for your practice. The tools provided are only for providing the school with your free labor. If you don't believe me, the SHEIN kit is proudly on display in the front area. Not only is the school cheap, the clients are disgusting. You will be doing pedicures on people who likely haven't washed their feet in the last three months. If you refuse to service them you will be clocked out and sent home. When it comes to sanitation and hygiene the school is lacking. I had to consistently ask for barbercide to sanitize my tools. They removed it from the floor and apparently "just rinsing the pedicure tub with soap and water" is good enough. Their autoclave doesn't work either. Attached is a photo of a desolate barbercide container and lack of sani spray bottle. It's likely the client floor will look like this on the daily. As far as a learning experience everything you do will be self-taught. The teachers do demos occasionally, but not often enough for you to build actual repetitions or confidence. It doesn't matter if you're confident or not. They made me take clients before I reached 150 hours. As far as my individual experience there is 0 consistency. They changed teachers on us mid semester, then changed school locations, then changed the dates and times you need to be in class. If you are just getting a license and want a cheap school this is the place for you. If you're a true beginner who knows nothing about nails, RUN.

Joi is a licensed esthetician. She makes the process a lot less painful than it has to be and she uses top quality, safe ingredients. She also provides a sanitary work environment. Beauty is Joi is only opened on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays so check the website for her hours. It's located off of Chamblee Dunwoody Road and there is plenty of free parking. There was also a reasonable wait time. I recommend her services.

first of all, I have never reviewed anything on yelp, I always enjoy reading other folks' reviews…read more But I thought it was time to give back, and give credit where credit is due...... Best brazilian I've ever received, Joi rocks! I normally go to a rather popular spot in Midtown for my brazilians, (I've visited others, as well) and I ALWAYS leave a bit sticky, and noticing a few missed hairs here and there. Joi is VERY thorough and wants to ensure you get the best waxing. The girl knows her stuff! What really impressed me was how knowledgeable she was about hair, skin and upkeep. She gave me pointers I have never received anywhere else. She is very kind, very personable and makes your experience as comfortable as these kinds of things can be. Oh, and did I mention it was the least painful brazilian I've ever had?? p.s. Don't be fooled by the exterior! It's not your typical setting as it's located inside of an office park and is a bit tricky to find, but you'll be happy you found it!
