My one bone to pick is, I scheduled with Betty for my pedicure. When I got there....they said she was unavailable but I can use someone else. I was fine with that, but this happened last time too. I had a very bad experience at this nail salon on 6/30/2026. The nail tech was very nice I will give them that but she used a file on my nail WAY too fast and aggressive and sliced the top of my toe so bad! And I was not going to make a scene in the middle of the salon but the rest of the pedicure it was very clear that she was trying to hide the fact that she cut my toe! I obviously felt it happen and I felt how bad it burned when she used God only knows what to stop the bleeding!! I will not be going back and I will make sure to tell everyone I come across to avoid this place at all costs!! They also don't use fresh tools for everyone, they used a purple pumice stone thing on my feet that looked very worn in, that is so gross!! read more

My husband and I have been yearning to find a local spa since moving to Atlanta. There are dozens upon dozens to choose from! I reached out to a few for July 4th and this one was the only one that was opened that I could find! Best choice ever made for a nail spa. Extremely professional and clean. I had a lovely conversation with Betty (who I definitely recommend) but they were short handed for the holiday and they alternated tasks--which was fine with us! They kept us in the massage chairs and they offer a large array of options for their services. We chose the VIP with Paraffin treatment. We've always enjoyed paraffin treatments but the scrubs were incredible and perfectly aromatic. Our manis and pedis were both incredibly clean and shaped well, without any cuts or issues. That tends to be a problem with past nail spas for me--I have soft cuticles. If you're in the area, visiting or local, I 100% recommend this place. They even offer online bookings, which is strangely rare! They also accept walkins, but why i not make a reservation if it's so easy?? read more

I moved away and it's always a hit or miss at the salons close by so back to my favorite go to salon! The parking is about a quarter from the shop. lol I'm just kidding but it is a little walk but you can find decent parking. The staff always greet you when you come in. Most likely wait times are not bad. You will maybe wait 10 mins or less. I've never had to wait ever and I've been an on and off customer for 6 years. There are a few nails techs that are amazing and a few a little rough on your nails. I will not put them out there but be aware! They are pretty hip with the trends and new techniques so you can most likely get a replica of a style you see online. Overall - always happy with their service. Today she did an amazing job butttt left a lot of nail polish around my cuticles so I'm giving it a 4 star. As mentioned - will definitely go back as I know who my favorites are :) read more

TLDR: Very pretty inside, but the quality seemed average if not low. Might return only to give the Black nail tech a try. But otherwise not. Details: Tried this place on a Tuesday morning after realizing my other nail tech has been out for months, and the others at her salon just aren't the same. General tips: -It's located in a Publix shopping center, with plenty of parking. -There was no mask mandate. Most staff (I only saw what looked like the manager without one briefly) wore masks, but not all customers did. -I was able to call when they opened and get an appointment immediately. -The clientele seemed to skew older, but that could also be due to the time I came in (1030 on a weekday morning). -Despite the time of day, there were 5 other customers when I visited and seemingly all available technicians were working. -I found it to be rather cold inside. It's fine when you walk in, but after I'd taken my bare feet in and out of the water a few times, I was shivering a little. Most technicians wore hoodies and the manager had on uggs, so I realized it wasn't just me. The Good: -There's a Black nail tech (She was busy when I came in and I didn't catch her name) but I LOVE seeing the diversity in the workforce -Beautiful decor! Everything looks clean and new (they've been in a new location for less than a year) -Good color selection, especially for fall (which is what I was looking for) -Color palettes are well organized on easy to flip through 'pages' (unlike my regular salon who hands you a ring of 300 flimsy sticks) -Massage chair was nice. Has options for lower back, upper body and neck and shoulders, and seemed to cover more area than typical salon chairs. -My nail technician turned the massage chair back on for me for the last few minutes of my visit (between cuticle oil and final hand wash), which was nice Areas for improvement = Nail services -The default seems to be to work on hands (Tina) and toes (Judy) at the same time. While efficient when you're short on time...I prefer to do them separately so I can relax and actually enjoy the massage chair. Instead, I spent most of the time contorted with the technician stretching one arm across my body to work on it. So, this was not the relaxing experience I was hoping for. Instead of presuming, I would have appreciated being asked. She also started working on my hands before I was able to pick my colors (so I couldn't flip the pages), but still hurried me to finish my selection. When I told her I needed my hands to peruse, she freed my hands but literally hovered and looked over me until I chose. While I'm sure she meant well, it was very uncomfortable. - I asked for stiletto shape and she shaped my natural nails almond instead (short and stubby vs long and slender) then told me after the fact that she thinks "almond looks better". Almond is nice, but not what I wanted --so I had to get tips to over the ones she already did. Not feeling confident in her ability to still to shape stiletto, I kept the shape I came in with instead. -She cut me with her fingernails when using them to push back my skin, then ended up getting powder and polish all in the wound. I was also nicked several times when using the drill to push back my cuticles. -I asked for a manicure with my dip nails, but never got it. But I was asked if I wanted my eyebrows done multiple times, which felt pushy. -They charge $5 for removing gel polish even if you're getting gel again. In my experience, most places only charge if you're not replacing the same polish. -My pedicure process was generally decent (I got deluxe for $35, there is a lower-priced basic option and there are 2 higher-priced options). She did file my skin a couple of times and pinched me with her nails (and didn't adjust even when I told her I was in pain), but thankfully no cuts. However, I chose a glitter polish that looked fairly dense/opaque on the color palette, but was actually sparse in reality. Typically if a technician noticed this they will offer to use a solid color as a base, but not here. Instead, one big toe has patches where there's no glitter. The other big toe had polish gunked up at the top. I notified Judy of this and she patted it in a way that didn't fix anything... Naturally by the time the polish started to dry, the big clump flaked right off, so I had to ask someone else to fix it. -Lastly, it would be nice if they offered drinks during services, especially if there's no mask update. Again, besides it being pretty, they gave me no reason to want to return other than (maybe) to try the Black technician. read more

I went here for a simple soak off and called before I arrived to make sure someone was available. While they started working on my soak off immediately, of course they tried to just rip them off and I had to tell them multiple times "no I want them soaked" and "please don't do that that hurts". I think I might have annoyed them with that so my soak off was done extremely rough with little care. I've been here 3 times so far. The first two times, I loved my nails. Aside from snide comments about the type of nails I wanted or me "looking really young," the service was pretty good. I went the other day and got a mani/pedi. The older gentleman who did my pedicure did a great job, and we had a great conversation. Then this older woman tried to do my nails, and she was awful. She cut my skin, didn't cut down my cuticles, couldn't shape the nail properly, snapped at me when I asked her why she started putting the acrylic on the middle part of my nail (as opposed to the base of the nail), and she shaped it so badly another nail tech stopped servicing another client to fix the my coffin shape. The woman also did a poor job of painting the nails. She did not cover the sides of my nails with paint. I had to come back the next day to get it fixed, and the woman still didn't do a very good job. The wait is usually long too because they are normally busy. I would go back for the other skilled technicians, but I will never let that woman do my nails again. read more

I went to Luxy Nails to get a full set and a pedicure. During the pedicure, one of the techs touched my hair without consent. I asked her to stop and she gave me a nasty look for removing her hands from my hair. She continued my nails, a blue french tip with gold outline, the gold was not staying on the nail and I asked to finish the nails tomorrow (implied with a different tech). She snatched my hand back and said that she would be filing them off. She told me she was mad that she did the nails but they weren't to my liking. She starts yelling at me and told her not to yell at me. Another tech came over to deescalate the situation and explain that I would have an upcharge to complete the nails tomorrow. I told them that I would not be paying extra because the tech did not know how to do the nails I asked for. Then the first tech started yelling louder and lunged as I was telling her not to yell at me. The second tech stood in the way and started my nails while the first tech continued to yell at me. The second tech apologized profusely but there's no apology for racial harassment. read more

Within 24 hours, 2 of my nails had broken. The tech used gel overlay on my SNS instead of acrylic that comes with the set. I've seen this done before when salons are trying to save money. However, the SNS acrylic is stronger and thicker. I went back and had the nails fixed, and over the next 2 days, another nail broke. I won't be back. read more

I went to this location after seeing the good reviews and thought I would give it a shot. I walked in after work so I expected a wait, that wasn't a problem. I showed them the Instagram picture below for what I wanted, what I figured was a fairly simple design- I was wrong.. the initial guy that worked on them first cut my nails. I explained to him I grow my natural nails out, they were not fake tips, and asked if he could not cut them. He checked underneath my fingernails to fact check me I guess, then told me the design would require shorter nails. I said okay and asked to just not cut them too short, he assured me it would be fine. He picks the base coat which was a normal pink, but as soon as the design started it went more downhill. He took a regular sized polish brush and globbed the black all on my nail, then took a brush dipped in ACETONE (used to REMOVE sns) and started removing polish to do the design. I told him it did not look even and at this point, still being nice, I asked to just leave the black off and I'll deal with having just the pink base. Instead he told another lady and she brought him a smaller black nail polish brush used for designs for him to try again. He then started again but could not do the design, I asked again to leave the black off but instead he sends the lady over to give it another go. She does the tips and again, they are not even. I showed them to her and even she knew so I asked a third time- PLEASE leave the design alone and just get the black off my nails since at this point it's underneath my nails and on my cuticles. Instead, she sends over a final lady to try... you guessed it, again. Each time there was acetone used to fix mistakes, causing the SNS undercoat to eat away, and they also filed my nails making them shorter every time. Now I'm stuck with either paying another $45 to fix these or leave them on for 2-3 weeks. I really wanted to give this place a chance but the fact that they messed up this bad, made me pay full price for eaten away SNS, and didn't even apologize for me having to spend two hours there, makes me want to tell all to stay away. I live near this salon and thought I'd give it a try. I won't be going back. The place is pretty at first look, but while I was having my nails done I could see it is generally not clean or tidy. The staff have their food and stuff all over their area, laundry baskets of towels were sitting around. I asked for a manicure and was surprised when the technician grabbed used tools out of her little toolbox rather than using disinfected tools. I noticed the bowl used to soak my fingers in was not cleaned/disinfected after my use, but rinsed and set back on the counter for the next guest. The service was not great. Again, dirty tools. I asked for a manicure and my nails were cut, filed and cuticles cut (my skin was cut as well). The technician asked if I wanted straight nails and I said no, slightly rounded. My nails are straight, sort of, slightly crooked. I expected a hand massage but didn't get one. I felt the technician was just wanting to get through the process and didn't care about it at all. It's my fault for not saying something, but I get my nails done to relax, enjoy, and be pampered. I don't want to have to tell them how to do their job. It's pretty basic - keep it clean and provide decent customer service. read more

Again very happy because she's meticulous - so my nail polish lasted for a few weeks and so did the polish on my footsies. Definitely planning on returning. This old grandma who could barely see used her own nails to break the gel nail off my hands!
