His extreme attention to detail is simply what I seek & expect. Tim is attentive to cuticle care, Gel/Glitter application & the finishing cleanup touch. Due to my intentionality of natural Nail Care over the past six months, I added a paraffin treatment. That service along with Tim's massage technique was spot on. Love this place! Les Nails is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The interior of the salon is clean, modern, and quiet. Their work is always precise and of great quality. They have industry area pricing, maybe just a tad bit less expensive depending on what service(s) you are receiving. Jessica completes my pedicures and Tom does my nails. I am a sucker for their deluxe pedicure. Even when it is busy, it is always calm and inviting. In times like these, it is nice to be in an environment that can boost my battery. I needed a quick pedicure for NYE. I asked for the spa pedicure with was $23 vs. $20 because I wanted the dead skin taken off with the grater -crazy. She didn't even do that correctly. She pumice my feet but not not enough. When she left my feet in lotioned so I did it myself since she wiped it off after the hot towel. I didn't have to wait long and I liked that it didn't have a strong fume smell like other salons. It might be cause they had the door open for ventilation. The place was very clean and the staff very nice. I think my technician was still a novice based on how she polished my nails and had to start over. I wasn't super picky since I was pressed for time and in a different area than usual. Parking is limited but ok because it is located in a shopping center with Publix and other stores. This place is a little on the expensive side but I can definitely see why. They're close to my job and about $5-10 more than other places outside of the perimeter but they do awesome work and definitely accomodate you accordingly. I called to see if there was a wait because I was downstairs at Subway and needed my nails done since my usual nail tech was sick and out of the shop by my house for another 2 weeks (Lord knows I couldn't wait that long). I went upstairs and was greeted by a nail tech who was super friendly. He advised me to have a seat and within a minute, we sat down and started going to work on my nails. I told him I worked across the street and needed to get done in the next 40/45 minutes since I was on my lunch break. He advised since I get a certain type of fill-in/maniucure that it might be longer than that but if need be I could always come back after work or the next day to have my nails finished. He finished me up in time with a couple minutes to spare and I was able to get back to work and finish my work day with lovely nails! My French solar manicure looks lovely. I've never been to this establishment. But after shopping in the area, I thought I'd give it a try. Big mistake. While having a basic pedicure, the technician split my nail and proceeded to pour some residue on it to bind it, assuring me it would be fine. It doesn't look fine ? Also a man & woman sat nearby throughout this ordeal ( presumably the owners ) and only asked me if anything was wrong as we were near finished, where then the lady had now taken over for technician to paint my nails ? There was some discussion between the two & I guess it was decided she would finish. But the damage was done by this point. Worst pedicure I've ever had, hands down. Nothing about it was pleasurable or relaxing. Yet I still paid and even tipped them. Any respectable owner probably would have considered a " no charge " considering. Also, I know it's the beginning of Fall but you might still need to have some sort of air conditioning in use. The entire place was stuffy & not well kept. I live in Murrells Inlet, SC and I am here on business. I looked on yelp and found this nail salon. My nails were a hot mess; my gel manicure from my salon at home started coming up after only three days. I could not stand to look at my hands any longer, and I was pleased that Le's Nails is until 8 PM. I called, and the lady who answered the phone was very very friendly. She encouraged me to come, and made sure I had the address. I found the salon to be very clean, with every staff member as friendly as possible. My nail technician explain to me why my previous manicure was faulty, and his method certainly seems to be superior. He spent a lot of time making sure that my nails looked exactly the way I wanted. He made sure they were shaped the way I wanted and he made sure my color was on properly and perfectly. If you are visiting, or a local, please believe me... I cannot find this quality of a salon around the Murrells Inlet area. Y'all are lucky!! read more

This was 2nd visit and I was going for a fill in. I use powder for my nails and requested white for my color. Ken was nice but he dug into my cuticles until they bled. The manicure was nice but my nails turned pink the next day. I waited several days to see if they would turn white again before I called to request a refund I called on Sunday and the manager told me to come in. I went into the salon and showed her my nails. I politely asked for a refund so I could leave (I have to let my cuticles heal before I can get them done again). She accused me of putting polish on my nails in front of her staff and customers. Again I politely asked her for a refund so I could leave. After accusing me of changing polish, she offered to buffer them. They destroyed my cuticles. I have scabs where the blood pooled on four of my fingers and they are still very sore two days later. There are some spots where they even missed painting the nail, and there are bubbles in the paint on both thumbnails. My friends both got gel manicures and face waxing and were still done before my regular manicure was finished. Will not be going back. read more

If I could give a zero review I would. I should have listened to the other negative reviews. I got SNS and it was different than any other salon I have been to. The color started fading after 2 days and one nail broke after 3 days. I went to get the one nail fixed and they made me wait for over 30 minutes (FYI - I had an appointment). I typically get my nail service @ a much more poplar Buckhead location, but being short on time I decided to visit Les Nails salon...BIG MISTAKE!! I asked the male nail tech if he knew how to do a ballerina shape nail w/ a white tip...I showed him several pics from Pinterest of the shape & length that I desired. Let me tell you... this man didn't even TRY to get the shape remotely close to what I asked. During his process...I had to keep asking is this going to be cleaned up?...why is the shape not right? Are you able to actually use a color? With resistance he assured me it wouldn't look like this once finished. It sure didn't ...it was worse than I could have imagined. The finish product literally looked like my 12 year old niece did them @ home. I politely told him I'm not paying for this mess! Another nail tech, a kind woman redid them for me & apologized for the inconvenience. Overall, this is why they say follow your first mind...I should have just took the time & traveled the extra miles to Buckhead...I ended up spending 3 hours in Les nails to still not have my nails up to par. Ok, I get that this is a typical chopshop nail salon, and I shouldn't have high expectations. But when you get a pedicure, it should not be an upgrade charge for part of the ACTUAL PEDICURE. I'm not talking about extra scrubs or massages or oils. Be warned that they will upcharge you simply to scrub/scrape the skin on the bottom of your feet AT ALL. I don't like confrontation, but I did ask to clarify that he meant the basic pedicure did not include ANY exfoliation of the sole or heel and the older man with two earrings said yes, that would be an extra $3. My nail specialist was beyond nice, and accommodating, but the gel polish manicure I received was very lacking. They missed little areas that should have been painted with polish, the actual manicure was lacking, very superficial, my nails do not look neat and clean after the manicure as they usually look after I get a gel polish manicure elsewhere, the nail filing was sloppy and uneven, they didn't use the color I asked for, and simply used something different, and said: "This is the color you want" I was more than half through, otherwise I would have left. You will get ugly looks from the other nail techs if you ask your tech to review a nail or file down less/more, or if you think the color is not the one portrayed on the samples. : / The place was empty when I got there, and I should have listened to my instincts and I should have not stay, the girl was so very nice, I though it may just be early... They spoke in their language as soon as I mentioned the color was not what it look like on the sample. It is simply rude. I like this place a lot because I can go on my lunch hour and still have a few minutes left to grab a bite to eat. They will happily do a manicure and pedicure simultaneously which saves time. Came in on a Monday evening so there was no wait. The shop looks clean, the employees are polite but not chatty, love it! But the pedicure, OMG she earned every penny of the $30. I believe that it's called the deluxe, there's a little menu with different options. She picked, plucked and scraped the gross away and rub several different moisturizers on after salt scrubbing my legs and wrapping them in hot towels.
