Not much has changed (except some pricing and the credit card fee), and they still have some very good nail technicians. I have to also say, I was shocked to watch two customers getting broken nails fixed and not tipping the nail technician. Sandy Springs is not a poor community. If you have $50 to get your nails done, or you can simply afford to have someone else do your nails for you, then you certainly have a few more dollars to tip a nail technician who depends on tips for their livelihood - it's not like they are salaried employees or even paid hourly. Hairdressers and nail technicians are dependent upon tips - EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS. My nail technician told me that it actually happens more frequently than you would expect in this neighborhood. She said she also has customers with money who say they'll Venmo her a tip yet they never do. If you're not gonna tip the nail technician (and, yes, you do tip for the repair of a broken nail), then don't go in there! Do your own nails!

There were some hiccups but I think it was because she was rushing considering they closed at 6pm. The establishment is clean, a bit noisy considering it was full on a Saturday evening off Roswell Rd. The price was about average for a gel pedicure and there was nothing spectacular about the place. I don't know if I would be back yet it wasn't a horrible decision. Impulsive yes, but not a place I would visit again just because. It's in a bigger shopping center so there's plenty of places to park. I went on a Monday afternoon before 2 PM and it was quite empty in there which I really liked. Bryan was my nail tech and I just have to say he should definitely be getting paid more. I went to Q nails and Spa, because my sister recommended it to me and she was absolutely right. It was the best place to go. Bryan asked me if I wanted a drink, and he gave me a margarita which it wasn't fancy in anyway, but just the thought and extra touch made it a better experience for me. I was able to relax in their comfortable chairs that were more on the new side, very well kept. The whole place is very clean, smells good. Everyone working there seems to respect each other as well which is a huge plus to see as a customer. My…read morepartner was ignored until the end of my dip manicure, despite request for his manicure at the time of my own. My partner's cuticles were cut and he bled on more than one nail. Another customer who came halfway through my dip was attended to prior to my partner, and I had to request his manicure again. I paid $45 for my dip manicure, yet it did not include any cuticle or hand care. I had specifically requested a dip manicure, and was not told that cuticle care was separate, nor was I asked if I wanted this. Additionally, when I had picked out my color, the actual dip color was bright purple (distinctly different than the fuschia on the sample; nail attendant said likely the sample was just old). When asked if I liked the color, and I identified it was quite different, a new color dip was then just added on top, leading to very thick nails and splotchy color up close. They were too thick and unfortunately have started chipping just after 1 week. I am very disappointed in my experience here. TLDR: cuticle care comes separate and you must ask for it. My experience showed subpar customer attention and nail service, with cut cuticles, thickly applied dip, and quickly chipped dip (1 week). Would not recommend.
