They always have music playing and never fail to ask about my day or how I'm doing. They are also one of the only affordable nail salons that provides great quality service. I've been here a few times with barely any concerns on my end. I went in today to get my nails done with my friend and I was shocked I got Kevin. I have heard everyone raving about how amazing he is and I know people will only book with him. Everything is going well I am getting my SNS mani and pedi and then they realize instead of the hot pink I had chosen he had grabbed the wrong shade and it was candy apple red but had already done the dips. Instead of asking if I wanted to keep the red or start over and do the color I chose they just asked me if I wanted hot pink toes or red toes....he openly admitted that instead of 240 he had grabbed the 140 shade. I said I guess I'll go with red...then when I was checking out I asked for discounted service since it was the wrong color and they were the ones who messed up....they gave me $5 off.... I am more upset about the principle and not offering to fix their mistake and then only offering a $5 discount. read more

For starters, this isn't a nice salon. Compared to others in the immediate area, it's run-down. The ceiling is leaking, the light fixtures contain dead bugs, and the floor is clearly not regularly swept and mopped. Additionally, the towels they use are essentially sandpaper and have clearly never been replaced. I popped in for an SNS manicure and pedicure because I had a limited amount of time and couldn't get to Sandy Springs. Frankly, based on the clientele in this area (I live less than 2 miles away), I'm pretty surprised that the reviews seem to be generally positive. My pedicure was decent. I've never heard of charging extra for using a scrub and there was not really a massage with lotion. I was not offered any pedicure options, which is a shame because I was prepared to upgrade and pay more. I specifically asked for an SNS manicure but it became obvious very quickly that the gentleman doing my nails wasn't doing that. I asked again, and he told me I didn't need one. First, I know I needed one. My cuticles haven't been trimmed in over 2 months. Second, who turns down extra money? One pet peeve of mine, and they do this at other salons too, is that they didn't move me from the pedicure chair to a table even though my pedicure was finished about 20 minutes before my nails -- meaning I sat uncomfortably in a pedicure chair with one arm stretched over my entire body while he was doing the opposite hand. I'm guessing they do this to avoid taking up (and having to clean) a manicure station, but this is incredibly uncomfortable. It somehow took over an hour and a half to do my SNS (withOUT manicure). They did not offer a beverage, which is rare. When I was finished, I got up to go to the bathroom before paying. By the time I returned to get my belongings, someone else had already been put in my pedicure chair -- meaning they do NOT clean between customers. I noticed this during my service as well, but hoped I had just spaced out for a second and missed the cleaning. Guess not! By the time I reached the car, I also realized the SNS wasn't all the way to my nail bed on either side of most nails -- probably in part due to sloppy work, but also because the gentleman turned down extra # to just take the few extra minutes to give a real manicure and cut my cuticles. I left knowing I wouldn't return based on this experience. It wasn't terrible, but was definitely subpar compared to other options in the area, and while maybe someone else would have done a better job, I draw the line at the lack of sanitary measures being taken. Unfortunately, it's been 6 days and I've been back TWICE. The SNS on one nail cracked after 3 days, and 4 more cracked after 5 days. I have natural, relatively short nails and I'm not rough with my hands at all, so there really is no reason this should happen. 1 nail cracked? Okay, fine. It happens! 5 nails cracked in less than a week though can only be the result of poor quality materials used. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because they were perfectly nice and accommodating when I returned to have my nails fixed twice. Though most places are usually willing to fix their poor work, I have sometimes been made to feel like a burden for returning if necessary. Here, they were really great about it. Such a shame because I live so close and would have loved to become a semi-regular, but the poor quality is just not for me! read more

My regular nail spot is out of my budget ( $5 more ‍). Here they are adhering to safe COVID practices. Shields are between you and the tech as well as the persons next to you. Though their chairs are as plush looking as other spots, the massage I got was pretty good. My tech was a picker .. which I like... until it hurts. But my toes look great. Tammy was about business. Just arrived in town and stop in for a pedicure. I was instructed to seat in the spa chair and she ran the water. She place her equipment next to the chair. She walked away and said is it ok to move my equipment to service someone else. She move the equipment, had another young lady set so she could do her pedicure, mind you the lady walk in after me while I was in the chair. How rude is that. I walk out with wet feet. PLEASE do not come to this nail shop. It has POOR customer service, short on staff and need to be clean. read more

I have been to One Nails twice now for a gel manicure and I've had such a wonderful experience on both occasions. My gel mani has been beautiful both times and I always receive compliments on them. The life of my gel manicures literally lasts for as long as it takes for my nails to grow out!! They don't start lifting at the corners unless I get lazy and don't go back to get them redone for 4 weeks. Lol. It's hard to find a nail salon where you can find friendly staff, great service, and quality results. I would go back in a heartbeat. read more

Okay I hate to say it but I've been going to this nail salon for 14 years!!! Ah I can't believe it's really been that long! But if you go and Kevin does your nails you will understand why! He's amazing and the only person that I let Do my nails! He's been there since the beginning and is always there! It's best to make an appointment if you would like a certain person but they can always fit you in! Kevin does wonderful nails but all the ladies do an amazing job as well! Super friendly to everyone and I see the same people there so I know I am not the only one that keeps going back. Parking is easy right by the front door. Salon is always clean. Fast service yet very good at the same time. I can usually go 3 weeks with the gel before needing to go back but when I do Kevin fixes then Up better than I could have imagined! Great salon and I give all my friends gift certificates to here as well! Lots of competition around town but I've never needed to try one thanks to One Nails! read more

Like coming home again! I had been going here for years before we moved about 10 miles away. After the move, I went to another closer nail salon and was happy for a while. However, in the last year or so there was a change of ownership and everyone familiar was gone. I don't deal well with change so I've avoided having a pedicure for over a year. I have been getting my nails done at this location for more than a decade and I have yet to find a reason to try anyone else. Yes, they can be busy and I have had to wait at times but I blame myself for that since I don't like to make appointments. Everyone is friendly and you are always greeted when you walk in the door. You will hear the names of many regulars and the staff genuinely seems to care about them. Men and women alike come here on a regular basis. And even if you have waited too long to go, they do not make fun of your scaly alligator feet. They recently updated the place and have all new massage pedicure chairs. They have a large selection of regular and gel colors. I find the gel will easily last three weeks. The owner, David, is the best for gel manicures. They open early and stay open until 8:00. The only grumble is they like to have sports on the tvs much of the time. :) read more

I have been going to One Nail for 15 years and have never been disappointed. Ever. I've had gel nails, solar nails, SNS nails, standard manicures and pedicures, and it's flawless, every time. I love getting my nails done here. The ladies remember you and welcome you back. I've found 2 techs that speak good English so I request them, Ling and April. The prices are very reasonable, $18 for regular pedicure and an extra $8 for manicure if pairing them together. They do offer numerous nail services as well as eyebrow shaping. Be sure to tip your technician, they work really hard and long hours. Oh and they now have the disposable liners which is great for cleanliness. read more

I will NEVER go to this location again!!!! My mother has been going for years, at least over 10, so I decided to make this my home nail salon after a few times of visiting. The work they do is ok. About 2 weeks ago I was just getting off of work @ 730, which is pretty close to closing time, but I had an event to attend and I work fairly close to the shop and was unable to go any other day. As I walked in the door @ 7:40 Tracey advised me that they closed @ 8 as if she was insinuating she was not going to service me @ 7:40. Just to be clear I asked "so will you not be able to do my nails" and her response was once again "WE CLOSE @ 8". I turned around to go back to my car and I saw a white lady with her daughter, granddaughter, niece even; I'm not sure, but as they approached the door Tracey allowed them to go in for services she then turned around to look at me as I was getting in my car then waived me over to come inside to get my nails done. I was obviously shocked, but I went in anyway because it was close to 8 and I knew I wouldn't make it anywhere else. I HATE to pull the race card but I am a Black woman so my question is why was I shunned away but Tracey allowed this white lady and her daughter in for services. I dont live in atlanta. However when i come to visit family i always go to one nail because that is where my sister goes. Today we went to the salon and while we were seated to be serviced, they started her and proceeded to do others that came in after us and the only response they gave was they have appointments. Those customers did not say they had appointmemts when they came in and if they had appointmemts why would they seat us for service. Needless to say i refused service. read more

Do not go here to get your nails done. The guy doing my nails was so rushed because there was someone waiting he was awful. I paid for a gel manicure and he didn't have me wash my hands after removing my old gels or before applying new polish. He also did not put cuticle oil on my nails or file them until after he painted them with the gel polish. He did not clean under my nails and left some gel polish on my skin. At the end he passed me off to another employee do apply lotion so he could tend to the other customer. I left with my nails and hands feeling oily and have pieces of my actual nail flaking under the polish. Very unprofessional. read more
