I don't like nail technicians to cut my natural growing nails when getting a refill. Kim was my go to but she just doesn't seem to listen or respond when questioned. The colors in their bottles doesn't seem to be the color you get off the swatch you pick although the numbers match. Pretty reasonably priced but I'll have to go elsewhere because they aren't consistent in doing a good job. It's hit or miss. read more

Came back to this place out of convenience for the second time and they are still the worst. I simply wanted my gel nails removed and the tech took an HOUR+ and still couldn't remove all of the gel. She had to have another nail tech finish the job, who was just as bad. When the first tech cut my nails down, she cut them uneven on each hand and the tech who took over wouldn't even shape them evenly. I didn't want a manicure, just needed them removed and evenly shaped and that task was beyond them. Photos below show both hands and how the nails are shaped differently. Smh. My grand daughter called the shop at 5:00 to schedule an appointment for her and myself. Scheduled for 5:30. We were there on time for fill-in and pedicures and the shop was completely empty! We were quoted a price for my grand daughter. I already knew my price because I had been there before to get the exact same thing. Well we are done and here comes the price change. Originally $80 for my grand daughter's nails and $20 for a polish change on her feet. Keep in mind she scheduled a pedicure but because it was now 7:00 they said too late to do the pedicure so she just got the polish change. Getting ready to pay and the polish change on her feet went from $20 to $45....huh??? They tried to charge for a whole pedicure. I said "no way unless you did it but you didn't! Then an older lady starts yelling saying the total for both of us was $254.00. She grabbed a calculator and just started adding numbers up. I told her that I can add because I am an engineer. Last time I checked $80 + $25 + $94 equals $204.00. I ended up paying $25 for her polish change and she was paying for her nails. While they were changing her polish I ran into Walmart and then my grand daughter called and said they were holding her in there because no one paid for her polish change. I went back in and said I gave y'all $100 for me then gave y'all a$20 bill and a $5.00 bill which is $25 last time I checked. She jumped in my face saying "NO... you no pay" I said that if I was going to "you no pay" route I would have opted for $100 charge for myself or $80 high as heck mail job for my grand daughter.... definitely not going to jail for $25.00. I told my grand daughter to go to the car and do you know this little old lady charged my grand daughter and tried to pull her to keep her from leaving!!!!! Went for a pedicure here and they gave me an infection. They reuse their nail buffers on clients which they should be disposing after every client and not reusing as you can't disinfect them. The tools are probably not getting disinfected either. I did like my nails but it's super important to disinfect your tools properly and have good sanitation practices to avoid giving your clients infections, which is why I would not trust the pedicures here. Today was my first visit to Pretty Nails and I had a great experience! They weren't super busy and attended to me right away! I don't use harmful chemicals or toxin filled chemicals on my body so I always bring my own stuff. They didn't seem to mind a bit and were very accommodating! I liked that they use the tub liners because to be it seems cleaner! Everyone gets a new unused tub liner then after use it goes in the trash! I forget my technician's name, but she was very sweet and efficient! She didn't sit and talk to her co-workers the whole time or make you feel like she was talking about you! She did a great job on my pedicure and my polish looks great! Now they aren't super frilly, they don't do the spa pedicures with hot towels ect, but I'm not into all that anyways so it was perfect for me! I was in and out of there in less than an hour and I still feel like she took her time and gave my legs and feet a great massage! I'll definitely be going back to see if it stays consistent!! read more

This place is FAR better than Walmart's Regal Nails. The people are friendly, although Vietnamese is mostly spoken. I never got the feeling that they were talking about me. But more importantly, they do an excellent job & there is never a rush. A mani-pedi cost $34, which is very reasonable. It is very clean. And my mani-pedi lasts!!! read more

Pretty awesome. The place isn't as "fru fru" as other places I've gone but it didn't matter because my nails looked amazing. (Still do after 3 weeks!) My girlfriend and I came without an appointment and we didn't have to wait long. We both wanted gel manicure and spa pedicure. They started on us after a few minutes. They have TONS of colors. And I mean, it took me 10 minutes just to pick one! The guy who did my manicure seemed pretty young but he knew what he was doing. I got a soft pink color with glitter at the top and he did it perfectly. Here it is 3 weeks and they are growing out but haven't lifted, pealed, or chipped. Our pedicures were basic and good. Could have used a longer foot rub time but hey... don't we always say that! ;) My friend was just as satisfied with her nails as well and her's are still perfect too. Now for the best part.. The price of a gel manicure is about $12 less than what I pay at other salons even in the same area. If your low on cash but want long lasting nails this is a good spot. read more

First off, if you're coming just for nails, this place is fine. Pretty basic, but the workers are generally friendly, the place is clean and accommodating. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure for $45 which is reasonable. If you want to do any other services, don't! I decided to try getting eye lash extensions. Worst decision ever. The lady was very nice, but didn't seem to fully know what to do. The glue got in my eye and completely irritated it causing her to panic. She told me they would last for a week, but by the end of the day half of it had fallen out. Lastly, and worst of all, after my spa appointment I went to get my make up done for an evening event, and I was surprised to find out that one of my eyes was missing lower lashes. No, not extensions, real lashes. The lady accidentally cut off my real lashes on one eye. Now, the situation is actually sort of funny looking back at it. But I'm really disappointed that she didn't even say anything to me at all. She had me walking around with long lashes on the top and no lashes at all on the bottom, on one side. Oh, and I was willing to let the situation go, but I tried to call the store and spoke to a woman. I talked to her and asked how she was doing, and then proceeded to ask for a manager. As soon as I asked for a manager, the woman pretended not to understand english. Then when I repeated myself, she started yelling, "I don't know! I don't know! I don't know!" LOL. I said well, when you know please have them call me. Don't recommend this place for any sort of professionalism, but maybe if you're lighthearted you'll leave with a good story. read more

I had really high hopes for this place. When we first walked in, they didn't seem excited to have new customers, you can tell they have regulars. When one walked in they lit up and was like HEY! I got a full set and I noticed the guy that was doing my nails was a thin layer. He was extremely light handed like he didn't want to use the product. The acrylic was extremely thin. After three days my nails begin to lift and after 6 days one came off like a press-on nail and the seventh day two nails were off. I guess you definitely get what you pay for. I think I'll pass on returning to Pretty nail, doesn't matter how pretty they are if they all pop off. read more

Nails could have been better... charged me $30 for the full set and they weren't filled and buffed out all the way. Lumpy application. Nail polish was applied evenly but around the cuticle they were a bit messy... the pedicure with polish was nice, but the toe nail trimming and polish could be just a bit better. It's an okay place not bad. Should improve sitting area and have more polish colors available. Paid $53 for service... Not the best but not the worst. Went for a pedicure, and seriously got the best polish job I've ever gotten anywhere. It was literally perfect. It's lasted without a single chip for well over a month. And it was only $20. The only disappointment to me, and the reason I only gave four stars instead of five, was that they only offer the basic pedicure. I love a "spa pedicure" with scent options, extra massage, scrubbing, etc, especially since I work in the restaurant industry, and can't have my fingernails done, and I only go as a treat ever now and then. read more

From the moment I sat down, I told the nail tech that I had sensitive hands and to please be gentle. Well, instead she was EXTREMELY rough on my hands and I left feeling sore and my cuticles were torn UP. To make things worse, I told her I wanted my nails to be "finger-tip length" and that I wanted french tips. Well, apparently just to have a little strip of nail polish costs MORE than just a polish and she waited until she started polishing them to tell me this. And as far as the length of my nails, just know, I'm having a difficult time typing on my phone or my computer. I absolutely hated my experience. There were some nail techs that seemed a bit nicer, but my experience was bad enough that i'll NEVER go back. I also want to add that she did a bad job on my acrylic. It's not even, it's on the side of my finger so it's lifting. Bottom line, I wasted my money and i'll probably have to go somewhere to get them completely re-done. read more
