The nail tech that helped me did not know how to do a French tip, even though the name of the salon is Frenchies. I asked for pink and white French and she told me she's never heard of that and she doesn't know how to do it. I was immediately greeted and sat down at the pedicure area. Chairs look new and clean. In fact, I watched an employee spray down and wipe the chair after a customer left. I had a male pedicures and he was wonderful. Very gentle yet firm as he worked on my feet. The water was so warm and soapy. The customers around me seemed happy and happy with their services, which is very telling because I've been to places where customers were either leaving or visibly upset. The place was very clean (including the bathrooms), smelled good, and had great music! I got a gel deep French pedi (basic spa) for 74, including tip (without was about 62), which I'd say is average for the area. Plus, the experience was worth it to me. I was sat down for a pedicure and when the lady was about to begin, I asked her why the utensils weren't in a package or fresh out the sanitizing machine some salons use. I'm so glad that I did. Sugar Polish is located in a plaza that offers food, retail, and of course, personal care through different services. Parking was also free and it was a breeze to find a space close to the entrance. When I walked in they had all of their holiday decor up and it was truly beautiful in there! There was ample space for a large number of customers although it wasn't crazy crowded on this day. There were two young ladies at the check-in desk who greeted me and quickly sat me at a pedicure bowl. The tech who did my nails was so sweet. We chatted for a bit when we got started, just pleasantries, and he got me all setup for a relaxing experience. I got one of the higher tier packages that included all of the bells and whistles, like, why not?! It included services such as a paraffin wax, a scrub, heated towels, etc. All of my faves. I think that the services themselves were about 45 minutes, zero complaints there. I was so relaxed! I couldn't remember the name of a polish I hadn't worn in a while and they immediately knew what I was referring to when I described it. (It was 'funny bunny') My toes were polished perfectly and 2.5 weeks later, they still look fantastic. Can't wait to return for my next nail appointment!
