They adhere to high standards, keeping their facility clean and employing staff and volunteers who spend time caring for and socializing with the animals. It's a busy place with a lot of animal turnover. They have very good prices for the services. They only do services on certain days and times but remember that many are volunteers. Its not a vet clinic. Some people seem confused about this. I heard some people complain that they couldnt get checkup vet services. -That's not what the APL is for. They mostly do sheltering, spay and neutering, ,vaccinations, and treating parasites. they also do microchiping for a good price. Recently their buildings were destroyed by a tornado and I hope that they get back up and running soon because they offer a lot of services to the community including catch and release neutering/spaying of feral and community cats.
