Ate here last night and am so happy that I have leftovers to look forward to today. We ordered some apps, which were all delicious. Mikes honey pie was some of the best pizza I've had in a while. I got the fettuccine Alfredo for my entree, which was my favorite part. The ambiance is homey and comfortable. Highly recommend! Wine was delicious as well!

The most AMAZING pizza I've ever had. Perfect crust, perfect amount of cheese, etc. Service was great and the waiter was responsive.

Review based on UBEREATS order. My boss and I decided to order from ubereats today and chose this restaurant. We placed our order for one fettuccine and one sandwhich (in which we asked for no cheese because my boss is lactose intolerant). The ETA was 1:30 - 1:50 so I called the restaurant at 2:09 for updates. He said our delivery guy was HALFWAY here. After a while, our food was finally here!! (or so I thought). We only received one of two orders. Tbh, our delivery guy didn't even look like he worked for ubereats. He looked like he worked in the kitchen at the restaurant (based on his outfit). I don't blame him though because as a delivery guy, he only picks up orders that have been prepared and take them out. He speaks with somebody over the phone and tells me our sandwich will be arriving in 5 minutes. I had to make a 2nd call to the restaurant because it still hadn't arrived after a while but arrived shortly after our talk. My poor boss, famished only to find out there was cheese in his sandwich... Onto the food itself now. The sandwhich was said to not be as dense as other places and didn't taste as good as Parisi's. The Fettuccine, I don't have much to say about it since its hard to mess up. At least it arrived semi-warm? But it wasn't worth the price for me. We really can't say the food was worth the wait at all...

Unfortunately, I would give it two something stars. I ordered the Chicken Scarpariello with sausage and peppers. It is one of my favorite Italian-American dishes, but I think should have ordered something else. I thought this dish was flavorless. A few members of my group chose the spaghetti and meatballs for lunch, and they seemed to enjoy it. So perhaps that is the dish to order. Despite the size of our group, the service was still excellent. I do not see myself coming here again, if I do I'll get the spaghetti and meatballs.

We came for a work gathering and this place was perfect! The ambiance to the quality of the food was better than I expected. The staff was super helpful and friendly. There is soooo many options on the menu. Would definitely come back for more!

Honestly, if you're not ordering from here during quarantine or even before WHATRE YOU DOING?! Hands down the best and most affordable Italian restaurant in the tribeca / fidi area. I've never been disappointed. I feel like this place is underrated cuz it's usually not packed. I've only dined in once or twice but I've ordered from here so many times I can't keep track. The portions are generous, the prices are great & the potato croquettes are to die for. My go to's: Chicken francese with brocolli The special parmigian vodka chicken with rigatoni What're you waiting for?!

Staff is very friendly, but I wasn't impressed with my lunch. I thought the dough was dry and would've been better for a traditional NY pizza. the meatballs were anticlimactic. I did really enjoy the sauce and the ratio of cheese to bread. Adding 3 little bites of meatballs was not worth the $3.50 up charge. If I come back with friends I would try the pasta next time

Highly recommend. Amazing food, great service, really nice outdoor seating and wonderful experience all around. We got the pesto penne and the linguine with seafood. Will definitely be back. Very Covid safe with outdoor seating. They wiped down the table when we sat down and everyone is properly socially distanced and wearing masks.

I love their vodka pasta with salmon. A lunch go to spot. The place is a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. [Full Stop]…read more I've had a lot of GF pizza. I've tried to come here in the past -- but it didn't work out. I ordered via Uber Eats this time, and MAN -- I was blown away. I honestly thought that they had screwed up and sent me a gluten version. I checked the order and receipt. It was so good -- the crust so chewy with bite -- but light and airy and tight -- the cheese and toppings all great and fresh and delicious. It tasted like an awesome piece of NYC pizza. I was so happy. I did some Claude sleuthing -- and think I'm onto their magic with the crust -- and am excitedly going to experiment in my home kitchen in the coming weeks (Neapolitan oven, be damned!).

Located at 309 West 50th Street in New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, the casual eatery has an extensive list of pizzas. Don Antonio has over 30 types of Neapolitan pizzas, and the menu is a little bit daunting at first due to so many options, but even the pickiest eater will find something they'll want to eat. To top that off, Caporuscio recently debuted a brand new pizza tasting menu that features a curated lineup of never-before-seen pizza napoletana, and seven varieties of pizza fritta (fried pizza). Lastly, the entire pizza menu is now available gluten-free. With vast offerings, they are ambitious, and every dish is outstanding.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
