I'm a local. I actually live around the corner from this restaurant and I love the barese pizza with extra cheese. It's amazing... When they actually put extra cheese on the pie. Tonight was the third time in 3 months I ordered extra cheese and it barely came out with any cheese. The last two times this happened was a take out order. How frustrating it is to get home and find out I didn't get what I ordered. Now tonight (8/5/26) it happened again while dining in. They threw more cheese on the pie and then it came to me overcooked and burnt as you can see from the pictures. When this pizza comes out correctly it's amazing but after three failed dining experiences, I think I may have to move on, and you should too. read more

Ordered a full size old fashioned pizza, which comes in square size, but crust not that thick, enjoying the toppings more and less calories. We added pepperoni, sausage, basil, and extra sauce on it. Ordered a side of shrimp, which came steamed and garlic marinated. Also an Americano which was served in a small cup, but heavy on the espresso, which made up for the lack in volume. The establishment is small, hidden, nook and cranny with a dark, lamp like lighting ambience. Small downside is our waiter was not very attentive, we had to reach out to grab our own crushed pepper, and were asking the busboy girl for condiments. Adrienne's Pizzabar was such a great time! We had a party of 8 and Adrienne's Pizzabar was so accommodating. I had so much fun with old and new friends friends from 7-11pm until they closed. We got three trays of pizza and shared it. There was so much fun jokes, catching up with old friends, and meeting new friends. And being snugged in the corner facing Stone street on a cold winter was perfect for that. Especially in such a historic downtown area where you can easily pull in history facts. The night was full of joy, pizza, and story telling. It's been a while since I have had so much fun in an outing. Thank you to the wonderful staff at this pizza bar for hosting us. Our servers were friendly, and the food came out pretty quick. There's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Note the restroom is downstairs, so I'm not sure if there's a more accessible way by elevator available. We ordered the Caesar salad and full sizes of the original pizza as well as one with pepperoni. For the three of us, we each ended taking home two slices for leftovers. Nice low key bar with plenty of wine options. If one is craving something other than classic New York slice, this is a fun option. Serving some casual Italian bites and pizza, one can sit down and enjoy a meal while watching some sports. We split a half pizza between the two of us, which is plenty unless you have big appetite. I was initially delighted by the amount of anchovies they put on here, but it turned out to be overkill. Half of the pizza was good, but then the other half has a burnt black bottom. Yikes! This place is always delicious and everyone I take there loves it. The staff is always friendly and the pizza is always great. The pizza was well cooked and tasty. I ordered the mozzarella fritti but I had to return it because it was cold in the middle. It was good but maybe the shape should be assessed to make sure it is cooked well. The place is a great place to have dinner. I do want to try other items on their menu but I always order pizza because I love it. The place is perfect for a date or work lunch or any kind of event. Wow is all I can say. On our way home from the Seaglass carousel we looked on yelp for what was around and highly rated, this place was on the way and looked delicious. We were immediately sat, my husband & two daughters. Inside is perfect for date nights very romantic, but also made for a sweet family dinner. The waiter brought us this soft, cheese crusted bread with some pieces having cooked red onion baked into the top, along side a olive oil vinaigrette. I've never seen either of my kids inhale anything as fast as they did this bread! My older daughter couldn't get enough and the little one just loved how soft it was. We ordered a half cheese pizza for them and half pepperoni for ourselves. No regrets, excited to go back and relive this memory on our next visit to NYC. read more

Adrienne's Pizzabar in the financial district is a great option if want some excellent pizza and drinks. On this occasion I had a half of the Original Old-fashioned Square. I got it with added pepperoni ($2 extra because it was a half, not full), and it was pretty darned good. I also got the Chicken Wings Scarpariello, which actually stole the show. It's been ages since I've had it here, and I had forgotten how legendary they are. They had a hot and spicy sauce that was perfect. Strongly recommend. Aside from the food, another reason that I like this place so much is because the atmosphere is very chilled and comfortable. This is a great date night destination. Great place to talk and relax. Overall, I really like this place and come here every now and again. If in the area give it a try, as I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do. read more

Looking on Yelp for some restaurants to eat while I was visiting the New York Financial District Area, Adrienne's Pizzabar was one of the highest rated restaurants on Yelp. I ended up saving it to my Yelp collection list, but got lucky that some of my work colleagues wanted to eat here on a Thursday afternoon for lunch! We ended up walking inside Adrienne's Pizzabar around 12:00 P.M. We were able to get a table inside the restaurant, right next to the entrance. The team member had immediately provided us menus and asked us what we wanted to drink. I ended up selecting a sprite. Looking over their menu, Adrienne's Pizzabar offers a wide range of salads, sandwiches, and pizzas! There are two locations for this restaurant, one in New York City and the other location is in West Palm Beach! This is a great local restaurant! We ended up ordering the following Appetizer: Arancini: Fried saffron rice balls with mozzarella and side of marinara sauce Pizza (Full): Napoletana: (White pizza) Vine ripened tomatoes, garlic, and mozzarella My other two colleagues also ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. I ended up just eating a few slices of the pizza and one Arancini rice ball. We didn't wait too long for the order, less than 25 minutes for the pizza. The pizza was sooo delicious! The garlic was scrumptious! There was whole cloves scattered on the pizza! It was oozing with lots of mozzarella cheese. The Vine ripened tomatoes blended well with the garlic and mozzarella! I added parmesan cheese to one of the slices, and just wow! It was bursting with flavor! The Arancini rice ball was good too! When I cut it in half, you could see the mozzarella melting still! I would order both dishes again if I was visiting Adrienne's Pizzabar! Next time, I'll have to try out their original old-fashioned square pizza. The Napoletana was fantastic, but it was a thin, crunchy crust. Service was great! We constantly had a team member coming up to our table, asking if we needed refill on drinks or just following up on our food! Decent grandma style pizza, along with pasta and salads. Personally enjoyed the Calabrese - sausage broccoli rabe pizza. Make sure to get the pizza well done, otherwise will be soggy. Ive gone here many times over the years and this place hands down has the best and most consistent custom pizzas that I know of in NYC. The prices are decent and the alcohol isnt too crazy. Honestly, I'm the worst cause I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. I popped in with my cousins during the holidays and at around 4pm it was decently chill and not too busy. We ended up ordering a whole pie and it feeds 4 people comfortably (2 slices per person). Keep in mind for my group were 3 petite girls and 1 guy who doesn't have a massive appetite. I struggled at the end to finish my pizza (I had plain with chicken and they were heafty on the chicken). All that to say, if u have a big appetite, sharing a full pie with 3 is gonna be more your jam! That said, great venue, had some house wine with my pizza and it was lovely. Between the 3 of us, we split a full pizza (original old fashioned square - $28) with mushrooms and pepperoni (+$3 each for whole pie). At $34, its a bit pricy for pizza, but expected for the area. The pizza itself was good - it came out piping hot, but lacked a bit of the crispiness overall. The size is great for 4 - we had a bit leftover towards the end. No comments really on the service, but they did start hovering around quite a bit even though we had plenty of pizza left and there were tables open. My group and I shared the Napoletana pizza, which was a sauce-less pizza with cheese, fresh tomatoes, and garlic. Lots of garlic. It had been a few years since I was at Adrienne's Pizza Bar, at 54 Stone Street, in DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN. It is located in downtown Manhattan, walking distance from the WTC, from the South Street Seaport, from a lot of places downtown. My real point is, it is worth a trip from anywhere, to be able to enjoy this pizza. Mmmm, some of THE BEST!! I have to go back to try the other entrees on the menu, such as eggplant parmigiana, and much more. The food and service are simply GREAT!!! I'll post photos of the rectangular shaped CHEESE PIZZA, AND THE PEPPERONI PIZZA. You MUST order at least one or more pizzas. I usually take lots of photos, but I was hungry for this pizza, and I was with 6 friends visiting from Wyoming, so between the excitement of seeing these special friends, and hunger, and the OUTRAGEOUSLY DELICIOUS PIZZAS ON THE TABLE, I didn't photograph the menu, which I like to be able to share. Came here on Octoberfest to avoid the insane crowds on Stone Street. Thankfully we got in through the back door and were welcomed to our pizza oasis. We tried the Arrabbiata Square Pizza and the Original Old-Fashioned Square Pizza. Original Old-Fashioned (5/5) - Simple but so well-executed Arrabbiata (5/5) - basically the regular pizza with green and red pickled jalapeños! Super spicy, but soo delicious. I've been here before and tried the Quattro Formaggi. The blue cheese is a bit overpowering for this one, wouldn't be my go to. Adrienne's nails the classics with high quality ingredients and great execution. Will definitely be back to try more of their specialty pies too! read more

A half pan contained maybe 6-8 large squares and I was full after 3 slices Cons: no outside food or drinks. This was confusing though because it's an open concept & picnic tables every where with no names on them. But if the table aligns with the restaurant then that's "their" tables & you can't grab a drink or food from a spot next door to sit with your friends.
