Wow, this place is amazing! When I come into NYC for work, I typically stay in the Financial District. There are limited restaurants open late. When I arrived in on a Monday evening around 7 P.M, I saw that Pizza Etalia was open and near the hotel I was staying at! Pizza Etalia offers pizza slices, pizza pies, pasta dishes, Stromboli, and a variety of appetizers such as garlic knots! Some of their slices of pizza include cheese, pepperoni, veggie, and meat lovers! Looking over their menu, I decided to order their Fettucine Alfredo with chicken and a slice of their cheese pizza. I had asked for the pizza slice to be warmed up after the pasta was completed! The team members had put all of the dishes in containers and stacked it in a plastic bag for me to bring back to the hotel! The bag had utensils and napkins in it! The first item I had to try was the NY cheese pizza. It was outstanding! The sauce was so flavorful, and the cheese was gooey. The slice of cheese pizza was slightly greasy, but it still tasted wonderful! The dough was perfectly cooked and crispy on the edges! The pasta was scrumptious! There was so much fettucine noodles in the dish! There were slices of chicken scattered in the alfredo pasta. I ended up saving half of the pasta for warm up in the hotel the very next day! The cream sauce was thick and flavorful! It had just the right amount of butter in the dish! The food was exceptional! The restaurant had plenty of tables to sit at if you wanted to eat at Pizza Etalia! The team members were friendly and helpful too! This is going to be one of my to go spots if I'm craving pizza in the Financial District!

Couldn't leave NY without getting some authentic NY Pizza. Pizza Etalia didn't disappoint. I had a mixed pizza and a chicken Caesar salad. The chicken Caesar salad pizza wasn't my favorite in theory it could have been great. My only complaint was the bathroom had no soap.

I stopped by for a late lunch and ordered the special lunch --5 chicken wings, fries, and a fountain soda for $8.95. Pretty good deal! the minus point is Inside store is hotter than outside lol

Ordered pizza and it was pretty good. The crust is really nice and the sauce was really good. This is a solid pizza spot in this area!

I had the margherita and white pizza, while my friend had the other one in the photo. All of which tasted really good. The pizzas are already prepared ahead and get heated upon being ordered, but the wait for service wasn't too long. The ambiance is okay, place is quite near the

Two regular slices.

Was down here on a training and since it was our last day I was hungry for some pizza. Pizza Etalia was essentially down the block from our location and with a thirty minute break time is of the essence. Walking into the place felt like being in one of my neighborhood Brooklyn pizzerias and while they had some specialty slices, I was aiming at two slices of plain cheese for me. They were nicely sized and after a quick warm up in the oven I was good to go. A Sprite was added to my order which amounted to about $12. Not bad for the city at all. The staff was friendly and quick and they were keeping the tables clean. There was a large amount of younger students in the place so I am thinking a school might be nearby or they were visitors of the National Museum of the American Indian which was where I was having my training course. I liked it and recommend them and will surely look into them once more if I find myself down in the vicinity.

They sat us upstairs along the balcony overlooking the main dining room, and the decor... honestly, just look at the photo because I don't even know how to describe it The space used to be a church, and it is SO cool inside. Definitely not your average pizza joint. This place is popular -- there were plenty of people eating -- but surprisingly, our wait wasn't long at all. And even with all the bodies in there, it never felt crammed or uncomfortable. We ordered a small pizza and did half Shrimp Fra Diavolo and half Margherita. The Fra Diavolo had a little kick, but nothing crazy -- and this is coming from someone who cannot handle big spice The Margherita had just the right amount of basil and mozzarella, and that crispy crust was exactly what I wanted. Although there was no major cheese pull, it was still perfect. The small was plenty for the two of us and honestly just perfect. We also had a couple cocktails, which were delicious too. I always say NYC food pricing is kind of deceiving. You look at the price and go, "Ummm..." but then the food comes out and you realize they give you A LOT. Definitely felt like we got our money's worth here. Great pizza, really cool atmosphere, and a fun first NYC pizza experience for the husband. Happy Eating, Chass

Bustling doesn't seem to fit, it was packed to the gills. John's is extremely spacious, and even with that much space, we had a substantial wait. The wait was worth it though because they know how to do pizza. The crust just crisp enough, the sauce flavorful, and the toppings plentiful. The service was friendly and quick given the number of people there. For my first trip to NYC, I'd make this a traditional stop for future visits.

Last year, I was at Nothing Really Matters, the bar next door, with a group of friends. Someone ordered pizza, and I had no idea where it came from. I just remember thinking, "Wow, this pizza is really good." That memory stuck with me, so when a friend and I decided to stop by See No Evil Pizza yesterday, I was excited to finally visit. I didn't realize reservations were recommended, but thankfully Ariel, the host, was able to fit us in. Ariel was fantastic - he was friendly, welcoming, and so accommodating despite us showing up without a reservation. Ariel provided excellent service from the moment we walked in until we left. I didn't take any photos, which I now regret, because their pepperoni pizza was salty, addictive, and just really, really good. The pepperoni was crisp, the crust had that perfect char and crunch, and I couldn't stop reaching for another slice. The restaurant is small, cozy, and inviting. If you've been thinking about checking this place out, go for it. You won't regret it.

It is such a cute place that deeply honors its heritage and ancestry, and their understanding of celiac disease immediately put us at ease. They explicitly let us know they use a dedicated oven and explained what pizzas can be made gluten free. They also have a dedicated fryer for all their gluten-free items, which is a massive relief for anyone with strict dietary needs. To drink, I ordered an Aperol Spritz, though you will want to double-check with the staff since a few of their other cocktails are not gluten-free. We kicked off our meal with the gluten-free arancini and a gluten-free Margherita pizza, and the pizza was genuinely delicious. We started with two fabulous drinks: An Espresso Martini and their signature Limoncello Margarita. We shared the Shaved Brussel Sprout Salad and it was fabulous. The bits of bacon, combined with the spiciness of the pepper spices, made this a perfect starter. The entree was also shared and it was the Spicoli 2.0 Pizza. I cannot recommend this pie, enough. You will taste flavors that you've probably never experienced before with a pizza. Also, the different textures of the arugula, creaminess of the cheese, and the perfect crust will make it a memorable selection. For dessert, we shared the Buttermilk Panna Cotta. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
