If you make a complaint or do not like something and make it known to them while being polite they will be nasty. Service is slow and they don't care. Everyone was complaining about the service. The owner argued with me and my sisters because we did not like the food or the hookah and let's just say he got nastier and the night ended with him and 5 women ( my group) arguing so bad even as we were on the street side because he was disrespectful. I wanted to try this place because I saw overall the ratings were pretty good. However, after visiting and spending time there, I don't think it's that great. The brunch menu is great, I got the French toast chicken sandwich that was seasoned beautifully and got the chicken and waffles. The waffles were cold but the chicken was fresh and juicy. I also got the breakfast sandwich which was fine, nothing extraordinary (bacon egg and cheese). For drinks, we ordered a black coffee, lemonade and smoothie which took 40 minutes to come out. On top of that, the food took a while as well. Me and my group spent about 1 hour and 40 minutes there and majority of the time was waiting for our order. With that, the interior is nice, small and they have music playing. Better for a small group rather than a big one. I didn't know TSA existed at a restaurant. I came off of work with a backpack to buy tacos, the "bouncer" told me have to leave my bag at a table (under his surveillance) as I ordered tacos at the bar. Well 2nd time around I had to change my review, I gave this place so much praise that I brought a few extra friends on a Sunday night.... Good music drinks still good and the server was dope I think her name is Natalie however the service for food bruhhhhh waited over an hour smh just ridiculous and I always give places the benefit of the doubt but this was just too much. After an hour my friend got his burger then 20 min after I get my quesadilla, then an additional 45 min another friend gets her burrito. Almost 2 hours in philly cheese steak comes for my other friend and it came on a burger bun which was weird. The calamari we ordered never came so we cancelled it because what's the point. We had smoked the hookah all before the food even came out. The shift supervisor sat at the bar the whole night but came and collected plates periodically. Listen if I could give this establishment a ZERO I would!!! Don't let tic toc hype you up to come to this place you will truly be disappointed. I went to establishment tonite with my friends and I so was pissed and disappointed. First when we got there we were greeted by a female security and she told us it would be an hour wait no problem, an hour later a light skin dude tried to skip our party to let these females go before us (very unprofessional). Second the waitress needs to be train properly, waited about 15-20 minutes for someone to take our order and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes for her to come back with 6 drinks and for her to tell me that my food order was not done and how I had to wait for a hookah to become available after watching people come in after my table get one. So I told the young lady if you knew this why you didn't say anything or come over I could have walked to popeyes or the corner to get food. By then I'm pissed and over this experience my other friend comes get the hookah since the waitress (who said our hookah would be free for having us wait so long) never could find one and got the manager who said is everything okay and I expressed how displeased I was with the service. Sitting almost and hour and thirty minutes while watching a manager take Shiraz with customers is unacceptable, then he offered us free shot to keep us quiet. The only good thing about tonite was the manager making my food. The waitress never gave us a copy of the receipt and I witness a customer get disrespectful with the female security guard who was going above and beyond to make sure customers were okay by offering apologies due to slow service, I then watched the manager side with the customer by giving them free shots instead of taking up for your employee. When I was told that I had to be patted down, I turned to walk away, because I am a rape survivor, and I cannot have a stranger's hands on my body. I muttered "yeah, no, I can't do this," and then walked away. When the woman working the entrance then started to follow after me and scream that she felt disrespected because I wouldn't allow her to place her hands on me? My dining companions received their orders 10 and 25 minutes later respectively. Each meal was cold by the time the others arrived. The $16 avocado toast had a smear of avocado over the same unimpressive white toast I received with my omelette. Again, no sides. We asked repeatedly for the last order and finally got it to go as it took so long. When we opened the takeaway box at home, the bread wasn't even toasted. Overall, an extremely disappointing brunch. The service was super friendly and it felt like the kind of neighborhood place people would come and hang out in. The food was excellent, especially the burrito, which had fresh vegetables and a mildly spicy sauce that was perfect for what I wanted for breakfast.
