There was little to no communication from this shop the entire time they had my vehicle which I thought was odd but I just thought maybe they were very busy. Towards the end of the process I called to get an update from the shop only to find out that my repairs were finished 2 weeks prior but that the shop was in a disagreement with my insurance because they decided to install parts that weren't approved by my insurance and performed extra services that were not approved by my insurance. After the insurance refused to pay the extra cost, the shop informed me that I would be responsible even though the shop never sought approval for the parts and services before doing the work. When I explained that I have full coverage and that I have never had to pay more than my deductible for any vehicle repairs, the shop owner said, and this is a direct quote, "Many of our customers that have full coverage pay above and beyond their deductible. " I have never had to pay more than my deductible and really isn't that the point of paying for full coverage? In the end, this shop held my vehicle hostage until I would pay or get a lawyer. I didn't want to spend the extra money or drag this ugly mess out any longer so I just paid the money. I will never go to this shop again and hopefully this review will save someone else from going through the aggravation and being cheated out of their hard earned money.

A company vehicle was returned to us with a stripped drain plug and an active oil leak after service. That's not a minor oversight--that's a fundamental failure. Soon after, I requested a quote for front brakes only on a 2021 Hyundai Palisade and was given an estimate of roughly $1,600. I sourced a complete upgraded brake set myself for $397 and completed the job without issue. Draw your own conclusions from that gap. Most recently, I brought in my wife's Subaru for tires, an oil change, and a noise diagnosis. The tires were installed, but the oil change and diagnostic were completely missed. I was told it "wasn't on the work order" and asked to bring the car back. That's a basic process failure. After returning the vehicle, I was told the issue was front wheel bearings and advised to replace both--quoted at approximately $1,000. I purchased the parts myself for $178, and standard labor time for this job is widely understood to be around 1.5 hours per side. When I asked for a clear breakdown of how that estimate was calculated--parts, labor hours, and rate--I was told their system could not provide that level of detail. That answer alone is concerning. If a shop can't explain how a four-figure repair is priced, that's a problem. At this point, the pattern is hard to ignore: Work not completed as requested Pricing that does not align with commonly accepted parts and labor ranges No meaningful transparency when questioned I have no issue paying for quality work. Even the size of my tires has been an issue because of their unique size. 3 times in a row Mid Atlantic has been the only place that was able to help me. They've even investigated weird noises which other mechanics were too afraid to look for- Mid Atlantic found it in half an hour and pulled the pebble out that was causing a racket. If you have a European vehicle in the area or a unique car you can certainly trust them with it. Beyond that their staff is by far much nicer than any BMW dealership I've ever been to.
