I stopped at Bob Wade Subaru in Harrisonburg hoping they might have a solution. From the moment I arrived, Kas, Hunter, and Kenley in the service department jumped in to help. They searched for wheels and tires, called people they knew to see if my wheel could be repaired, and explored every option they could think of. When nothing else worked, Kas did something I'll never forget. He sold me his own set so I could continue my trip home. Their kindness and willingness to help turned an incredibly stressful situation into a positive experience. I truly don't know if I would have made it home that day without them. He drove it home for us to check out and told us how it shook when starting from stop. We drove it and told him there was something wrong with it and that I was not signing anything until it was fixed. He took it back and was given some story about being told by chuck that he needed to drive it so that the car would reset for his driving. Seriously. I told him that was the most bull.... thing I had ever heard. First I went with him and met chuck and I told him there was something wrong with car and I was guaranteed that it would be fixed out of their own pocket. Few days later son was called and told it was done. He brought car home again and said it was doing same thing. My husband and I went back in and spoke to eric and insisted he test drive it with my husband. Eric admitted that something was wrong with car and lifted hood and discovered oil had not been changed like we were told and we even had to put oil in the car when he first brought it home because it was empty. We were again promised it would be fixed. Well lo and behold the same old crap again. This went on for few weeks and to make a long story short they appear to be nothing but crooks who lie constantly like they think everyone is stupid and gullible but them. How anyone could think this is a good place to buy a car is beyond me. I even did research on this vehicle and found hundreds of complaints about the same issue we were trying not only to get them to admit was there, which after getting eric to test drive he finally did, but to fix the problem. But apparently ford is just like them and doesnt admit the problem per the reviews online. I am done with this place and the more people that can learn this the happier I will be. I would not send my worst enemy there to purchase a car. I thought steven kia was bad but chuck and them have them beat. At least the Kia was a decent car. NEVER GO HERE TO BUY A CAR. destroyed my car during what should have been a routine state inspection. idiot on the phone…read moreclaimed to have no knowledge of what was done but the car emerged from the inspection and three days later the wheel became dislodged from the axle and lost all its lug nuts on the highway. either they damaged my car or it was already damaged and they passed it with flying colors and didn't inform me of any repairs it needed. four people in the car and we were lucky we didn't die. claimed they have footage of the inspection proving they didn't remove my wheels (which means they faked an inspection, because you have to remove a wheel during a state inspection)! brakes are off. alignment is off. complete morons who might kill you with their negligence

When you move to a new city, it takes a minute to find a solid mechanic as it is often word of mouth, luckily I found Wrench Craft pretty quickly. Not only did I get a word of mouth recommendation, it was by another locally well regarded mechanic who was unable to help on that particular day my Violette broke down. Dean spent a significant amount of time determining what turned out to be a complex issue, explained exactly what was happening, what my options were, what actually needed to be replaced, and what could wait a little longer. This was such a relief because money has been so tight and Violette (my sweet pathfinder) is my baby. When Violette started acting up again and I brought her back, Dean stayed and worked until the issue was resolved. Even though the part itself was at fault and not the work, Dean refused payment as he guarantees his work.
