Impressive considering that it was the last day of the month. I needed one part to pass inspection and I was brought to my car and shown exactly what needed to be replaced. I was also shown things that I should get replaced to maintain my car, outside of my inspection. Overall, I appreciate the honesty of the employees here. I love how they showed me what needed to be replaced and were honest with me about the parts that could wait. Will definitely be coming back!!

On top of that, the inspector then added, I shit you not, an entire idler arm (a $60 part they invoiced for $150.99) because the bushing had a ~millimeter of play. But no worries, they can fix it all for $1,000 and the parts are right there! Even the manager, Marco, who was quite polite and professional outside of defending his tech's bullshit, acknowledged that the idler arm charge was a bridge too far. Take your car here at your own risk, because I guarantee you they'll "find" something wrong with your vehicle, but out the goodness of their hearts they'll be willing to fix it for a fee with a comma in it. Disingenuous staff- i really liked everyone I spoke to until I realized they were con artists and will bait you into giving them money so Mark Davis can pay for his next bullshit commercial. I'll be taking my truck to literally any other shop in the world where it will pass inspection with flying colors.

FANTASTIC - PROFESSIONAL - INTERESTING - COURTEOUS - LOW KEYED ETC ETC ETC…read more And all these adjectives aren't enough to describe: Bret, buying a Ridgeline at Mechanicsville Honda, Top (the F&I retired Marine Sgt Major) and Franco the new BOSS of Mechanicsville Honda! My buddy (a good friend of Franco's) took me over to meet Bret (Franco's choice of the sales consultant to assist my wife and I). Bret met us at the door and from the get-go my wife and I felt comfortable. Bret did some mini-data gathering and analysis before he proceeded further with us. He ACTUALLY wanted learn what mattered to us and what we wanted NOT just him just making the sale. If we bought a Honda that was a plus but he made us feel like the most important objective was for us to be happy! He succeeded - without a doubt the most enjoyable vehicle buying experience in my 50 years of buying cars and trucks. First, Bret was well prepared for us and his product knowledge was at a very high level. If didn't know the answer to our questions he found it out. We NEVER felt pressured to make a quick decision or to buy the Ridgeline immediately. Franco (new to managing the dealership) came by a couple of times during the process and he is a TRUE PROFESSIONAL - Mechanicsville Honda will flourish under Franco's leadership. Top is one of the BEST if not the BEST F&I representative I have interacted with at a car dealership. He also put no pressure on us to buy the add ons!! So I happy to say this over and over -- IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW OR USED VEHICLE CONTACT BRET AT MECHANICSVILLE HONDA IMMDEIATELY - He will do you right without pressure. Cheers and THANKS BRET!!

I picked up the antenna at Hendricks Chevrolet. While there I inquired what would it cost to have it installed. I was informed it was a 3 hour job at their labor rate, somewhere between $400.00 to $500.00. I then contacted Strosnider Chevrolet. I was told it was a 2 hour job at their labor rate. A friend of mine that owns two import car dealerships suggested I contact Extreme Audio. I called Extreme Audio inquiring if they would install the antenna. If so, how much would it be. I was told they could install it and it would take no more than an hour. I set up the appointment. The work was done quickly. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was told the bill was $66 and some change. I first looked at him like he had four heads. He then said I can charge you more but it took less than an hour, and that is how we do things. We don't over charge. I highly recommend Extreme Audio for your vehicle audio needs. They are straight forward honest people. I won't hesitate to return in the future.
