Went in to get an alignment done for my truck and it took 2 hours to get it done with basically no other vehicles being worked on. And learned that they had drained the battery on my truck. When I got my truck, I found that the tech that was working on my truck had broken off one of the cigarette chargers covers. Just a terrible experience. I will never be returning. read more

Big O Tires - Tires Near Me - Richmond, Virginia

Big O Tire Staples Mill Road 12pm appointment Greeted immediately by Nestor. He is a really nice guy. I told him I had an appointment for 12 and did that mean I'd be seen at 12. He said pretty much 12- 12:10. I told him I was leaving and inquired about how long. He said about an hour and he would call. Oil change Tire rotation Brake check is why I came. When I came back I sat in the waiting area and watched a movie they had playing. They told me that my brakes are fine but I needed 2 tires, which I knew I needed. I also needed a front alignment. Grrr. lol. But yeah, overall a good experience. Ended up leaving at 2:15. Not too bad. Roughly spent about $550 for everything. I didnt get the feeling they were trying to get over or anything. Sorry forgot to take pictures. read more

The guy was rude as hell on the phone. Making me seem stupid like me, a 22 year old female is going to know about tires . I will not be visiting here . If you're so pissed off maybe you should be working out of your garage buddy read more

This was the worst service I have ever experienced! I went to get 4 tires on a Friday, to be told to come back Saturday at 10am just for them to tell me to come back on Monday at 4pm. I arrive to each appointment on time and the first time I came they didn't have enough workers. That Monday the man replacing my tires didn't want to do the work because he was getting off work in twenty minutes. He claimed he couldn't get my tires off and suggested I purchase their tires and go somewhere else to get my tires off. I asked how am I supposed to drive without tires. They replied I don't know. I went down the street to their other location and the guy their didn't want to attempt to try using another tool to take my tires off. complete waste of time. Bottom line they didn't want to do their jobs. read more

I took my car to this shop for an alignment, and they couldn't complete the job. Worse, they broke a bolt in the process and never informed me about the posibility that it would happen, in this case i would never tried it. When I returned the next day, they refused to take responsibility, claiming they didn't charge me, but never warned me that this could happen. It's unacceptable that they don't take responsibility for the damage they caused. I don't recommend this place due to their lack of professionalism and customer service. read more

Big O Tires - Tires Near Me - Richmond, Virginia

I got a flat tire on the highway the other day and had to have my car towed here to get a replacement. I was fortunate enough they had one but not the center lock tool to replace the tire. However, they were able to find the hole in the tire and patch it instead of replacing it. The guys here were great and it only cost me $55 to get this done instead of $500 to replace the tire. I highly recommend coming here. read more

This is my go to shop for tires and repairs! The prices are fair, high quality workmanship and a fast turnaround. I was short some cash and since I'm a regular customer, the guy told me to come back Monday with it! This is refreshing in the crazy world we live in! Thanks Big O, I can't recommend you folks highly enough! read more

The best - they fit me in on my lunch break to patch my tire. Don't go to the other tire shops - I found my go to and it's close to my work. Way more professional than the other tire shops - great value f- they don't waste your time or money. read more

Like most businesses in Richmond, this big o tires doesn't really want your business. I got a big o tire credit card to get new tires. The guy I was working with named Don just had that "I could care less about making your order work" attitude. First he proceeded to of the tires with all their fees and install was way more than expected. Then he calls me and says he needs an additional $200 on top of the $2500 for shipping. And says "well you want big tires" and told me to go to discount tires if I didn't like it. He could have worked with me on shipping. And why are they charging me shipping anyways???!! Not his problem though I guess read more

I would give 1/2 star if I could. I brought my car in because the front drivers side tire had a slow leak. 1) there systems crashed so the owner got my email address and promised to email my receipt as soon as the system came back up, 2) when I got up the next day and was leaving for a very important meeting, the same tire was flat. I had to reschedule with my client, who was not happy, 3) I brought it back and the so called mechanic or tech was adamant there was no leak. The manager seems to be the only knowledgeable person in the whole place. He went out and looked at the tire and found the leak. Worst experience dealing with something this minor I have ever experienced! read more

Big O Tires - This is what the tire looked like this morning! - Tires Near Me - Richmond, Virginia

Broad St location Richmond, VA. Horrible customer service. I called and scheduled a service. When I arrived at the scheduled time, the attendant, who I assume was the manager("I'm the only one that answers the phone") told me they were unable to provide the service and even further told me that they never scheduled it and that it must've been with the other big O tire store. When I hit redial on my phone to call the number where I scheduled the service, the phone sitting in front of him rang. Even with that, he continued to deny that he had agreed to provide the service, and to add insult to injury, acted as if he was doing me a favor by even talking with me. I would give it negative stars if I could as I planned my day off around that appt. read more

I came in to fix up a few things in my car, the customer service and the pace of the work was phenomenal. Best car service chain in Virginia! Would highly recommend coming here and they have a beautiful interior as well! read more

I have used Big O Tires a few times and they never disappoint. I recently went to the store on Broad Street in Richmond and the service was great. Kevin, the manager was helpful and so kind. I needed a new battery and had called the dealer and a few other places as it was a Saturday morning. Nobody could guarantee doing it that day and were quoting me around $400. Kevin was able to do it within a hour and only charged $200. He also let me know that they have $20 oil changes on Wednesdays and Sundays. So nice to find someone helpful and kind, and easy on the pocketbook. I brought my computer in so the time would not be wasted and while I could not finish that much in only an hour the time was productive and they even let me set up in their office. I would give Kevin and Big O ten stars if I could! Thank you! read more

The owner is not very knowledgeable when it comes to service and other car related things. He treated his employees like they weren't people. I ended up not getting service from them for this reason. Unfortunately, there isn't a rating lower than one for the owner. Employees seemed friendly though. New ownership is definitely needed for them to do better in the future. read more

Got a flat at midnight Saturday and had the car towed to Big O. Left a voicemail to tell them why my new car was there. They're closed Sunday (which is a plus for their employees). Spoke with Will Monday morning and told him I was borrowing a car for work. He was honest and upfront from beginning to end! They had the car ready by 10:00 am so I didn't need to borrow a car! Will and Kevin are the new owners of Big O Staples Mill and I truly can't recommend them or their business highly enough! Thank you guys! You rock!! read more

I've been a few times now, and I can't say enough about the customer service. They are eager to assist you and from start to finish, they are polite, knowledgeable, and quick. When making appointments, they were always able to fit me in I've been serviced twice, one for a new tire and another time for an oil change. Each time has been thorough and affordable. It doesn't hurt that they are very close to my work as well. The lounge is nice and spacious, a little than my regular spot. If you're looking for a clean, customer-service oriented, and affordable service shop for your vehicle, this is definitely a great place to come. read more

We went in with a flat tire and ended up leaving with 4 new tires. The staff was very knowledgeable and up front about our needs and did not try and take advantage of the situation. They kept us informed as we were waiting and showed us the issues up front. We have always been happy with Big O Tires - and are very happy they are now here in Virginia! Our experience was excellent. read more

Needed an oil change and state inspection. On both in recent weeks I stopped by and was greeted right away and helped. The staff is friendly and courteous but also easygoing and professional. I have a sales job and drive about 1000 miles a week, so i can not commit to an specific appointment. On both occasions they explained they were busy and I could wait, other places turn you away, but they set the expectation of the wait and work with you, they have compfy chairs and tv to watch to help pass the time.... I love love love this place for their prompt service and coupon offers. I have recommended and will continue to recommend to my family and friends! Job well done once again! read more

Even thought I had to wait a lot longer than I anticipated, I applaud manager Keisha on her professionalism and poise. I got a little heated because all of my lugnuts had to be replaced due to manufacturer complications for my vehicle model' whichof course was an excessive amount added to what I expected to pay. Of course there was a delay in getting the amount of lugnuts since I needed all 20 and I guess traffic delays in getting them from the supply store. Keisha recognized my mounting frustration and had already offered coupon and courtesy discounts. Three long hours later, she made sure my bill was adjusted to compensate for the long wait. In addition to the delivery delays, the computer went down, but Keisha kept her cool and maintained a professional attitude. She thanked me for my patience and I definitely recommend this location. All of the staff did a great job!!! read more

well, I said I wouldn't go back but I did. my appointment was for 7:30 am for an inspection and oil change. no one opened the door until 7:45am. Then they didn't come get my car until 8:05 am. The desk guy wasn't friendly. i am still waiting on my car.... a 7:30 am appt should start on time and this should have been an in and out trip. read more

I needed service on my Pilot and took it to this Big O. This place rocks! Very clean and comfortable waiting area. The customer service is second to none and the mechanics are top notch. The prices are in line with other places but they don't seem to play the 'upsell' game. They are honest and provide great service. I finally found a full service honest car service provider. read more
