Sorry in advance for the long review but I feel like I have I have been meaning to write this…read morereview for some time now, and have been struggling to find words that could adequately express my love and appreciation for Tony, and his entire team at Godiva. I feel it would be an understatement to just say that Tony exceeds my expectations every time. Guys, idk about all of you but I was burned out and honestly scared to trust a new hairdresser after a couple bad experiences elsewhere. I moved here in 2017 and had been looking for the right hairdresser when I found Tony in 2021. After seeing another guy who gave me a "wet ponytail" haircut (don't even ask), I made my way into Tony's chair. I'll never visit another salon! If I ever move, I'll be making trips back here for my hair! My hair has never looked better, but not only that- it is so much healthier, softer, and stronger than it's been in years! I could not be happier! I can honestly say that for the first time in my life, I am getting haircuts that make me feel more confident and genuinely compliment the shape of my face. At my last appointment, Tony performed a thermal reconditioning (Japanese hair straightening) on my hair and can I just say that it very well might be the best money I've ever spent? Never thought I would say this about a hair treatment but it is seriously LIFE CHANGING! Please, please do yourself a favor and go see Tony!

Joi was welcoming, took time to talk through what previously had been done with my hair, and after that, I put it in her hands - she is the expert. I loved the end result. All over touch up root color (matched very well), toned down my highlights to for a more natural look, and added new highlights around my face to help with grey coverage. My hair was all one length. Joi added some long layers to lift my heavy hair but where I could still wear it up if I wanted. She gave great recommendations for hair health (some what dry but not in bad shape). Joi also required a mask which I appreciated as a new customer during COVID chaos. Her salon is adorable and comfortable. I felt at home, we had good general conversation but also enjoyed moments of quiet. After-all, getting my hair done is a time to be treated and relax. I would highly recommend trying Felicity Hair Salon. Thank you Joi!!

I was totally elated to see the online booking option with detailed service and price list. I loathe going to salons and being totally surprised by the cost at the end of the service. So much so - if I don't know the service costs up front, I won't even go. I was greeted warmly by Jacque and her husband. They were super friendly and inviting. So was Michael! I had a wash, condition and press. The shampoo was pretty good and the conditioner was nice and tingly During the condition Michael placed a hot towel over my head and then a shower cap. I am very used to having a shower cap after a conditioner to let it soak in a little before rinsing, so I had no reason to think this was an additional service to a wash and condition. My hair was styled in soft curls with care and not too many passes of the flat iron. When it was time to pay, I was told that the service would actually be $15 more than what I booked because of the hot towel. I was really thrown off and it immediately ruined the great experience I had until that point. If I had been told up front, or given the opportunity to agree to that, it would be different. However, not mentioning until time to pay feels a bit dishonest because now I am forced to pay no matter what. This is the only reason why I probably won't return because the there is no actual transparency of pricing when booking online. I would recommend the salon for their work cleanliness and free parking but just advise to be super clear on what a customer's cost would be.
