This became my go-to spot in my recent trip to Montrose and for good reason: Fantastic food. Great wine. Friendly service (I sat at a table on one visit and the bar on another). Reasonable prices. Comfortable ambiance. I was very impressed and highly recommend. One thing: make sure you get to try their crispy wafer bread served in their bread basket - so delicious! I sampled their arugula salad, a shrimp pizza, and penne w/vodka sauce. I couldn't stop eating that penne! OMG it was addictive. So if you're looking for a reasonably-priced and delicious meal while in the area, I highly recommend.

Spending some time in Montrose, Colorado. While here I visited Trattoria Di Sofia. It's a great little Italian restaurant, with great service and fantastic food. Tonight I had the pleasure to enjoy Carre Di Angello. It is grilled lamb chops with roasted red potatoes and vegetables. It also starts with either a soup or salad. As you can see I chose the salad with the house made ranch. The chops were cooked well and the sauce it was paired with provided the perfect addition of flavor. If you're in Montrose and want a delicious meal, stop in and enjoy

First time at their new location. The restaurant was much larger than the old location. Loved all the plants vining around the ceiling. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started with the mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer which was delicious. My husband had a 3 meat pasta from the lunch menu and I had the chicken saltimboca. The food was flavorful and delicious. The chicken was very tender. Can't wait to visit Montrose again and eat another wonderful meal here.

First time I came here was last summer with a friend when they recently opened...we split an absolutely yummy plate of Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. Have been wanting to try them out for dinner so we finally made our way back and it did not disappoint. When you first walk in, the décor and ambiance is simple, yet still comfortable with both table and booth seating. There is also a nice bar as an added place to have a drink or grab a bite to eat. The ceilings are quite high, yet since I was last here they did install several acoustic panels to absorb and improve the chat levels...which is a plus! To accompany our dinner, we ordered a bottle of Bollini Chardonnay that paired nicely with all of our meals. We ordered a Penne Alla Vodka, a Salmon special, Pollo Al Marsala Funghi, and Ravioli Di Zucca...including side salads for all. They also serve freshly baked complimentary bread...which was warm and tasty! Overall, the food was enjoyed and quickly devoured by all! Our waitress Sharon was da bomb! She was friendly, professional and did an excellent job making us feel at home at Trattoria Di Sofia! Highly recommend! Check them out!

A wonderful find in Montrose today for dinner! The service was fast and efficient, the food incredibly good! My wife had the vegetable Risotto, which was hot, creamy, and full of taste vegetables. I had the veal scallopinni accompanied by Risotto and beautifully sautéed veggies. I'm definitely coming back again!

Excellent Italian. From the bread to the pasta. We had the Risotto and the seafood pasta.

They have a gift shop area & a candle making area that you could watch while eating or get a cart and go shopping in it! I got the breakfast sandwich that tasted so good with their soft bread & great flavors coming from the pesto aioli sauce, bacon, and avocado. For a drink I had a lavender latte that hit the spot I should have asked for extra lavender but it was still delicious & drank every last bit of it! I did give one of the baristas props because she was the only girl wearing her hair up and we love a queen that works around drinks and food to have their hair out of the way! I definitely will be back in the future to bring other family and friends here!

My wife had the grain bowl couldn't go near her for 2 days the pesto had so much garlic. I had a grilled cheese, maybe I'm just a plain grilled cheese guy, the bread was awesome but the cheese and spread was just ok. Drinks were really good I love a small place that uses the right cherry!!

I mean, we could not get enough. If you ever get a toast, make sure to ask for their fruity syrup. It's just WOW. Also, get their bacon - Starvin' Arvin's can make bacon right. Everything else is alright. We came in hungry and wanted a bit of everything. While we enjoyed their bread, pancakes and French toast, it seems like we ordered the weakest dishes in the joint. The chicken fried steak, hash browns and green chili omelet were okay. The steak and hash browns were lacking flavor on their own, so you really had to make it your own by adding seasoning or getting a touch of extra gravy. The green chili omelet has a lot going on. It's pack full of a variety of flavor, but when one component doesn't work, it's like the whole dish struggles because you can't pick it out of the dish. The place felt like an old-school diner which is something to appreciate. It has a nice parking lot around the location, and it's rowdy in the morning like you'd expect from a place like this.

I let my boyfriend pick the restaurant not realizing they didn't sell alcohol. The waitress seated us at a huge corner table for just the 3 of us. After not even a minute of looking at the menu she asked us what we wanted, so I asked for a Bloody Mary. The waitress laughed in my face and said "yeah right, me too". So then I preceded to ask for a mimosa, thinking they didn't have tomato juice. She then let me know they didn't serve alcohol, so I said just waters fine. I still can't believe she laughed in my face, how rude! Then she comes back to ask us to move!!! Not only was that extremely inappropriate but it was my birthday . Then after we got up they didn't even direct us to which table they were moving us to. The table was still right next to the table beside it, is in touching our neighbors table. The guy sitting there even had his phone on our new table! Then after we order we realize my boyfriend had left his phone at the other table. When asking the new group sitting there if they had found it they said they turned it in. The staff didn't even think to ask if it ours even though they moved us from there. Then the waitress acts like she's doing us a favor by sending out a cinnamon roll. Well after we left we realize we didn't actually get a free cinnamon roll, there was only one brought out and my friend had ordered one as a side and never received it, meaning all 3 of us ended up eating the cinnamon roll that was supposed to be hers. Not only did the entire experience bum me out on my birthday, but I will definitely not be recommending this place or ever stopping back by. The ambiance inside was okay, and the food was good, but the service was atrocious.
