If they truly want their patrons to dine, chill and hang out for awhile...the seating had better be comfy. The home made tomato basil soup was rich, comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Together, they made the ultimate comfort meal. Of course, the pastries were just as impressive--fresh, beautifully made, and full of flavor. We had the cream cheese kolaches and the white chocolate raspberry scone (heated up per her suggestion!) They also have a deli that cranks out sub sandwiches. The deli uses a paper-ordering system. Write your name and your selections (meat choice, dressings, lettuce, etc) and your name and they make to order. They are not skimpy on the meats and cheeses, which was nice. My bread, though, was dry so I ended up just eating the meat and cheese. On the day I visited they also were serving pulled pork sandwiches as a special. I like supporting non-chain restaurants. They have outdoor seating but none indoors. I guess you'll have to eat in your car during the winter or take your Sammie to go.
