The front desk staff is also amazing! They're friendly, attentive, and always do their best to accommodate your needs. Even when you reach out by email, they're quick to respond and happy to help. Where to begin!? I have been with the same dentist for 20 years and I thought that is the way…read morethings should be. Was I wrong. I had an emergency (as I have much dental issues) on a Saturday. My dentist at the time was regular weekday hours, not weekends, no after hours and I had to wait and pay and pay. I searched and found Green Leaf dental and called for an emergency visit and they said to come right in. WOW! Greenleaf Dental (Dr. Jaime Christian Thony) took care of my emergency IMMEDIATELY with skill (NOT just a "dentist") in also endodontic procedures etc. No need for an external "specialist". He does it all and runs a one-off, (NOT huge corporate entity office) with the most professional, compassionate, pleasant, skilled staff: Shaina (sp?), Margaret-Ann, Natalie and others. I can visit without dental fear. I have found out since that Dr. Thony volunteered his time doing treatment for the underprivileged residents of Texas (Texas Mission of Mercy), and the Dallas Juvenile Detention Center. Dr. Thony is passionate about giving back to and engaging the community. Dr. Thony has conducted research on bone restoration materials and has presented his research in various conferences around the country and is a recipient of the Baylor College of Dentistry Research Award. I have had to visit Greenleaf 3 additional times for emergencies after regular 9-5 and the experience has been the same. I have officially left my previous dental office of 20 years to go with Greenleaf Dental.

My first yelp review! We took our 8yo daughter to the same Baldwin Park pediatric dentist her…read moreolder sister had gone to years earlier. Apparently things have changed dramatically. The dentist at this practice said she needed a lot of work and most of it would be out of pocket because we were discouraged from anything than going to the hospital and having all the work done at once and needing our little girl be put under anesthetic and other things. This would have blown us out of the water financially, but they made us feel we had no choice. After much soul and internet searching, we came across Dr. Nadi at Downtown Dentistry. Wow! Bottom line: even though the work would need to be done every other week for 4 weeks, she would be able to use local anesthetic and not be nearly as invasive as the high end Baldwin Park pediatric dentist. The whole plan was explained to us and Dr. Nadi made sure to not only keep it positive, but actively engaged my girl in the discussion. And Coleen at the front desk made sure to work with our insurance to make sure the work would be covered as well as could be and the out of pocket cost for us would be a fraction of the other place. The best part: Dr. Nadi, Coleen, and her entire staff were not only top notch professional, but they all made my little girl feel like the most important person in that office. My little one, now 9, loves going to the dentist! Thank God we didn't despair at the other place and found Dr. Nadi! 100% would recommend!

My mum visited this Dental office, based on the recommendation of a local neighborhood friend and…read morewas pleased with the service offered. Since it had been a while since I had been to see a dentist, I decided to take a punt and get an appointment too. So this review is the culmination of 3 appointments I have had at this Practice. For my 1st appointment, they took photos of my teeth and it wasn't that great. I kept gagging because of the way they took the dental x-rays, which was way more intrusive than what I have previously experienced with dentists I have been to in Belgium and Australia. To be honest, I was amazed that the US, with its "modern" healthcare, felt more like the 3rd world to me, in contrast to the pain free extra-oral X-rays I had previously encountered. If I was reviewing the practice on this visit alone, it would be 2 stars (Meh, I have experienced better) My second appointment was for tooth cleaning and I got Julissa, who was amazing. She was so gentle when cleaning my teeth, explained everything she was doing and kept checking in that I was okay. She also got me a lovely warm neck pillow and said I could ask for that again, if I wanted to. She also listened to me - I didnt want the pumice tooth cleaning done, just the tartar removal and the floss, and so I only got the services I wanted. If I was reviewing the practice on this visit alone, it would be 5 stars (Woo-hoo, as good as it gets). Seriously, if Julissa ever leaves this practice, I would follow her to her new place. My 3rd appt was for my filling and y'all it was so good! (Side note here: I found it weird that my tooth cleaning was scheduled prior to my tooth filling, cause I would have thought the latter would have been more urgent. But it was explained to me that the dentist was super busy and since I wasn't going to be in Orlando in Dec, we made this appt for January - I went and saw this dentist in October - so just be aware that her calendar is busy and fills up super quick!) Dr Sarah Day and the technician assisting her was just amazing. I got explicit information about what the process was going to be and I really appreciated Dr Day being super gentle as my cavity was really close to the nerve. This made up for my initial visit, when i encountered some pain when getting my x-rays taken. Very much recommend, and am glad have found a local dentist can go to! Yelp Review 1/2018

I said I wasn't familiar with this process bc it wasn't an appointment for me. This was during the first phone call with John. I told I'd talk it over with my grandmother and call back. This goes out to JOHN who answered my call the 2nd time. I inquired about how much it would cost (an estimate). He said " How much water is in my truck right now?" I said what? He repeated that 3 times and said there was no way to know. I then said well we could estimate X-rays, crown work, doctor appt cost, etc. John then yelled at me and told me to STOP TALKING. When I said wow, he HUNG UP! If I could give zero stars I would. Warning others not to go here. I'm livid.

"oh no we have been trying to reach you to confirm your appointment it just goes to voicemail" Then she said " actually I spoke with you and you said to just release the appointment you didn't want to be seen" This never happened..why would I cancel an appointment I waited for 1 year for?? At one point a couple weeks before they did call and speak with me that they may have an opening a couple weeks sooner potentially and she would let me know if that opened. The front desk woman was going back and forth with me saying "oh yes you said this and the doctor was even by me when you canceled" " we have the call recorded and the doctor said he can send you the recording" please do send that conversation ..but honestly I'm not interested in arguing..and gladly will not be seen..but don't try to tell me I'm crazy like I would first of all cancel an appointment I waited 1 year for..and or not remember doing it! It also helps relieve that awkwardness of them trying to talk to you and expecting a response when you literally cannot respond. Sometimes they have some nice freebies for the patients like eye gels to de-puff your eye bags. They got lip balms at the front desk too.
