I was dealing with wisdom teeth pain for 2 months and simply thought it was a tooth pushing. Each night was a headache and hard to sleep or even eat. I registered online (great option by the way) scheduled an appointment for Thursday to get an exam/x-ray. Come to find out they needed to be pulled. They were so accommodating and Maria explained to me so well of what the options were and how things could go. They were even willing to extract them for me the same day but I wasn't prepared. I scheduled for Friday morning instead (next day). During my visit I got to meet some of the nicest people that clearly LOVE their profession. Everyone from the front to the procedure itself were excellent in making my nerves calm for this. I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Maria, Andrew, Sonia, Dr. Bhatti, and Amanda, for helping to guide me with patience and compassion for the situation I was in. You all made a nerve wrecking situation very pleasant and 3 days later I have 0 pain whatsoever (I've had 0 pain since the procedure at all which is outstanding). I looked at 4 other places before finally discovering this place and I'm glad I did. People like the staff here are the type that should train others in every profession when it comes to how to treat people with kindness and the ability to have positive impacts in their journey! The Windermere Center for Dentistry is a clean, welcoming office that's about a 20-minute drive for me--super convenient and right near downtown Windermere. The waiting area is simple and standard (no spa-like frills, but honestly, I'm not here for the magazines). The staff at the front desk are friendly and efficient, which makes the check-in process smooth every time. Where this office really shines is the dental team itself. Everyone I've worked with has been professional, kind, and genuinely good at what they do. Cleanings are thorough but not uncomfortable, and they recently upgraded their chairs to include pillows--which is a surprisingly nice touch of comfort when you're reclined for a while. Dr. Rapport is excellent. She's knowledgeable, attentive, and you can tell she cares about her patients' dental health. Sometimes it's a little tough to catch everything she says through the mask, but that's part of the times we're in. What matters is that she explains clearly, makes sure you're taken care of, and most importantly--she keeps me on track with my oral health. At the end of the day, it's a team effort: I do my part at home, and they keep me polished and on track here. I have never written a review this negative before--it takes a lot to get me this frustrated--but the treatment and billing here forced me to speak out. Years ago, I actually worked on the design of a computerized billing system for Delta Dental services, so I am highly familiar with dental insurance fee coding. After this visit, I thoroughly researched local standard charges. I know for a fact that the $700 total fee I was hit with was completely inappropriate. Specifically, I was charged a bit less than $300 consultation fee that makes absolutely no sense because no separate consultation ever took place. There was no evaluative discussion; the actual dental work was started immediately. Charging a steep consultation fee alongside immediate treatment is a blatant, improper overcharge. We do not have dental insurance. As retirees living on a fixed income (outside of my husband's part-time job), a $700 inflation of a bill deeply impacts us. The rest of the charge, a bit less than $400, for the actual work, was ridiculously high, but apparently standard. To make matters worse, Dr. Martinez's bedside manner was completely nonexistent, making the entire appointment highly uncomfortable. Between the complete lack of care and the deceptive billing, I cannot recommend this practice. I will definitely let my regular dentist know about this experience so they might hesitate sending patients here. The other reviews are glowing, so I am in the minority. Maybe many have dental insurance so the ite is not as painful. I cannot imagine how those with a lower income can afford this type of dental care without insurance.

They take the needs of every patient to heart and ensure the needs are met and the patient is satisfied and comfortable. I have never been a fan of the dentist but Dr. Dave has always put my mind at ease when having any dental work done. He is very thorough and will explain everything upfront and as he is doing the work. I no longer stress over having to have any dental work done. Everyone in the office is super friendly and welcoming. Keep in mind they are not really in any insurance companies networks, so you typically end up paying a little more but for someone who may not be the biggest fan of the dentist, it is worth every penny. They do file my insurance for me, then I just pay what my insurance does not cover. I highly recommend Dr. Dave and his team. Oh, it is also worth noting I still used Dr. Dave when I lived in Jacksonville, FL and still make the drive now from Davenport.

This journey all began with very painful toothache. After a year of on-and-off pain, it finally…read moregave in. The pain was above an 8 and it needed to be resolved asap. The harsh pain began Monday and Tuesday I was at the dentist. He found a crack causing the pain and suggested a root canal. He referred me to Dr. Caissie and I was able to get in on Wednesday. I've never had a root canal so obviously I was very anxious. I did some research online and some people suggested against a root canal citing infection can spread to your blood stream. They suggested an extraction instead. Well, after trying to move the tooth with my fingers to realize how tightly secure they were I know an extraction would be awfully painful and more serious than drilling a whole into the cracked tooth. This was confirmed by Dr. Caissie when he mentioned that if the tooth was cracked deep down he would need to refer me to an oral surgeon. Yes, like surgery! Luckily, my crack was not deep enough to require an extraction or fear infection spreading to my blood stream. Everyone at the office was extremely polite, honest, and most importantly, caring. The doctor came in and introduced himself and explained everything with visuals so I had no doubts about what I was in for. He addressed all my concerns and put me at ease. Let me make this clear, I am referred to as McChicken by loving friends, because I won't even do roller coasters, but I love scary movies; go figure! Clearly not a fan of pain. I also researched laughing gas, but this would be even more expensive on top of an already unexpected expensive procedure. If you don't get the laughing gas you'll still get the numbing injections so I didn't deem it necessary. I couldn't imagine a pain greater than that of the cracked tooth, and I was right, I didn't need the laughing gas after all. With Dr. Caissie's experienced hand I didn't even feel the injections!!!! I told him I had a high tolerance to anesthesia which meant more shots, but again, I didn't feel them. The last time I had injections at another dentist it was very painful and an unforgettable experience, so this was a huge relief!!! By the looks of it you would have thought I was in pain, holding on to the chair for dear life in fear I would feel the slightest pain. There goes McChicken again, but I digress. Please don't hate me; or do, it motivates me!!! I did not feel any pain whatsoever. Come to find out I actually had 4 roots which is a bit unusual, so Dr. Caissie had more work on his hands, and thus, the procedure took longer. He said I would have pain and prescribed steroids to help with the swelling. I was not thrilled about hearing the word pain, but oh well, at least it was not oral surgery or an extraction. Ok, you can hate how. Later on that evening, I still felt no pain. When asked later that evening if I felt pain, I said it must still be numb. I got a quick side-eye look and was told that should had worn off by now. Well, it's the day after in the afternoon and I've had coffee and later on a cold beverage by the pool and STILL NO PAIN WHATSOEVER. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Caissie and now that as I keep getting older I will need more of these and know where to go. NO PAIN!!!!! Thank you, Dr. Caissie!!!! Eternally grateful #greenlight
