It would have helped to get it beforehand, and after. The dentist wants me to get $5500.00 Invisalign Braces for TMJ that I thought I MAY have. She didn't even examine me for a diagnosis. We didn't even discuss my Xray results, or other options for my clenching jaw. She just jumped to my 3 slightly crooked teeth. THREE! Really? They didn't even make my next 6-month appointment after 3 HOURS of appointment time with them. Everything immediately focused on my new braces. They even pushed me to apply for credit. When they asked me for my checking account information, I put the brakes on. All they did, was make me feel like I was being taken advantage of. Cavities? I don't know if I have any. I will most likely get an appointment with someone else in 6 months. I really hate the way my appointment shifted. Seven days later, I am still feeling that vibe. I don't like it at all. Ruban kept calling me, even after I left him a message telling him that I will be seeking a less invasive treatment. None of which they discussed with me. Invisalign Braces were my only choice from this dentist. I told everyone in this office that I spoke with that my hearing is an issue, and please not to call me on the phone. My phone is ringing. I think this office has a hearing problem. Obviously no one marked my record as I asked them to. I am thoroughly disgusted, and not happy at all about this wasted appointment.

I have been going to Dr. Marte's office for about two years now and I have to say it's the BEST experience I've had at the dentist. The two hygienist I've had have been the sweetest to me! First one I had really made me feel so comfortable being there and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Sadly she ended up leaving and was moved to another hygienist and been with her for over a year now. And just like the first one she always making sure I'm okay and talks me through it. Dr. Marte has been super friendly and always has great tips. In a few months I'll be moving but I will still make the drive just to come to this location. 10/10 experience for me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Castro for nearly nine years and was always satisfied with the care I…read morereceived until recently. Unfortunately, over the past couple of years my experience has changed significantly, and after my most recent visit I have decided to seek care elsewhere. About a year and a half ago, I was told I needed a dental implant and received a quote from Dr. Castro's office that was extremely high. After getting a second opinion, I had the same implant completed by another dentist for $3,000 less. During that visit, the dentist also identified an infection in my upper right tooth. Six months later, during a routine cleaning with Dr. Castro, I asked him to check that area and was told everything looked fine. However, at my most recent visit two weeks ago, I was advised to get veneers on my four front teeth and whiten the rest of my teeth. I was also told the office would bill my insurance for crowns instead of veneers so that part of the cost would be covered, which raised serious concerns. Because of these red flags, I returned to the other dentist for another evaluation. I was told I do not need veneers and that whitening would be a more appropriate option. Additionally, the infection in my upper right tooth is still present and will likely require a root canal. Since it may have gone untreated for over a year, there is now a risk the tooth could need to be removed. In addition, the atmosphere in the office has changed noticeably. While the staff is friendly, the frequent loud chatter and laughter create an unprofessional environment that was not present years ago. It is disappointing to see such a decline after so many years as a loyal patient. Between the pricing differences, questionable treatment recommendations, and concerns about quality of care, I no longer feel comfortable continuing treatment at this practice.

I would give zero stars if possible…read more I originally visited this dentist because I was experiencing severe jaw pain, facial pressure, and distorted vision. I was genuinely concerned that I had a serious tooth issue causing these symptoms. X-rays and an exam were done, but I was told there was nothing wrong with my teeth. Despite that, I was referred to an endodontist anyway, which I paid for completely out-of-pocket. The endodontist confirmed it was not a tooth problem. Because my symptoms were continuing and worsening, I made the decision myself to go to the emergency room out of concern that something more serious could be happening. I underwent an EKG, CAT scan, and was even transported to the hospital for an MRI. After all of that, I was released with no answers. Following advice from a nurse practitioner at the hospital, I returned to this dentist requesting a referral to an oral surgeon for a TMJ evaluation. The dentist refused, stating she didn't think I had TMJ, and provided no further guidance, suggestions, or concern for what was clearly an ongoing and serious issue. I eventually sought out an oral surgeon on my own and finally got answers. The cause of all of this was nighttime teeth clenching/grinding (bruxism). The strain on my jaw muscles had irritated the trigeminal nerve, which was causing referred pain, pressure behind my eyes, and even vision disturbances. This could have been identified much sooner if the dentist had actually listened to my concerns and considered clenching/grinding as a possibility (which there was apparent evidence of). Instead, I went through unnecessary specialist visits, emergency testing, hospital bills, missing days of work, and weeks of stress -- when the solution was ultimately something as simple as a mouth guard. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. Patients deserve to be heard, taken seriously, and guided appropriately when dealing with potentially serious symptoms.

I completed my…read morepaperwork online and noticed there was a comment that the patient is responsible to know your coverage for x-rays. I checked my Insurance coverage which explained a entire dental series x-rays was allowed once every 3 yrs. I then contacted my old dentist (they are no longer taking my insurance) and found my last set of x-rays were completed on December 2025. I'm at my appt. and the technician takes me to have x-rays completed. I explain I'm there for a cleaning and I had x-rays completed in Dec. (my last cleaning) and my insurance will not authorize an additional full set of x-rays for 2-yrs. It is at this point that I'm informed, the office does not accept x-rays from other offices because the quality may not be adequate enough. I then ask so my options are to pay for the x-rays out of pocket or I wait to see a new dentist in 2 years and that does not make any sense. The technician checks and the Dentist is willing to look at the x-rays to see if they are acceptable, but I would not receive my cleaning until the Dentist reviews the x-rays. I complained to the office manager, Lisa Bullock, that I left work early and wasted an entire afternoon for no reason. This could have been avoided, if when I made my appointment as a "New Patient", the receptionist mentioned to bring or send over any recent x-rays to see if they are acceptable Or our office will need to take x-rays (previous x-rays are not accepted) and I should verify my coverage or I will have to pay out-of-pocket. But that did not happen and I wasted an entire afternoon. I said this was 100% Bright Now's fault. The office manager, Lisa Bullock, just said "Thank you for your opinion" in a condescending manner. That was it. Not an apology for my time or the run around. BEWARE!!!! Bright Now does not check your coverage! I really felt like this was just an excuse to make more money. I very easily could have provided my x-rays ahead of my appt. if I had been told. Lisa Bullock was not a nice person very condescending! I have chosen NOT to go to Bright Now, based on the Office Manager's manner. I don't feet that she is a good person and lost trust with that dentist office.
