Dr. Sutton has helped me so much and he is kind and filled with positive energy. Lacey always takes her time explaining things to me and helping me maintain my teeth. The office staff is thoroughly professional and the office itself is spotless and has a spa-like feel. For some reason, it said I was posting from San Francisco but I live right here in Orlando. Something about the dentist just makes me frustrated. Every time I see it on my calendar I'm already irritated. That part has nothing to do with Dapper Dental but as reference to take this review with that in mind. 1.) This happened my first and my second appointment with the same reasoning. Once you set an appointment they message you like everyday in a 10 day period to confirm the appointment. I understand the reason but annoying. When asked both times to have me taken off they had the same excuse of "our system was acting funny" so that's why. Keep in mind those appointments were 6 months apart. We'll see if it's fixed in the future. 2.) When I sat down in the receptionist chair. Lacey Satterfield cleaned my teeth per my invoice/receipt. She said my cleaning today would be $89. I said, nope that's wrong. It's $60 ish without fluoride and $110 with fluoride. I asked the receptionist so we'll have to verify that." She responded super sassy, "okay whatever we won't worry about it." The rest of the appointment you could tell she was irritated. All I could think was ma'am please get your hands out of my mouth with that attitude. Of course I just sat there. She won't be cleaning my teeth again. She's snarky, and has zero soft skills. I made a new patient appointment and was assisted by the pleasant front staff. I appreciate being able to complete the paperwork ahead of the appointment. I was kindly greeted by staff on arrival and offered beverages. I waited maybe 5 minutes before being taken back. I had THE BEST experience with hygienist Jenna. I felt really heard about previous bad experiences I've had at chain dental practices in the past, and she reassured me none of that would go on in this visit. I like that the x-rays are done in the exam room, and there is no need to move around. The sunglasses were great to block the bright lights and possible splatter. Netflix was available during my visit, and the baking show kept me nice and calm. Jenna made me feel so cared for and did the best cleaning. She explained everything thoroughly instead of talking in dental code. Dr. Sutton was personable and knowledgeable. He took a good amount of time examining my teeth and hearing out any concerns I had. I did not feel rushed and felt well cared for. Dr. Sutton is the best and everyone working in the office is so friendly and show genuine care every time I am there. I have been going to Dapper Dental for a couple years now so I'm a bit late writing a review, but they have been amazing every visit, so I figured it's time. The waiting room is very nice and comfy, and they have beverages stocked for you to enjoy while you wait. But the greatest thing is I am never waiting long-I don't think I have ever waited more than 5 minutes whether I'm on time or a little late, or even early for my appointment. I have had many times in the past where I couldn't trust the appointment time and would waste so much time waiting around and I'm so grateful they are quick and efficient and friendly. Dr. Sutton is funny and kind, and always makes sure to explain everything thoroughly. He helps me to prioritize my treatment plan, and he is never pushy about it or trying to get me to have things done that I don't need (again unlike others I have been to). This is the only dentist I have ever been to where I no longer feel nervous or anxious and I actually...enjoy going to the dentist now? I can see why people enjoy coming here so much! No one really enjoys going to the dentist and just about every time I've gone to other dentists, I've had a pretty miserable experience. Whether it's the judgy bedside manner, vague pricing, constant upcharges, or being treated more like a metric rather than a human, I have left many dentist's offices feeling demoralized and frankly ripped off. This is not the case with Dapper Dental. Before considering visiting them, I had heard from multiple that they had great experiences going to Dapper Dental. It had actually been a few years since I had gone to the dentist (SMH) so when I finally decided to bite the bullet and go, I thought I'd call their office first to get pricing so that I could prepare for it. Their staff was incredibly friendly and transparent with what the cost would be. I agreed to do a general checkup, cleaning and a filling since I was pretty sure I had a cavity. Prior to my actual visit, I was able to handle the large majority of my paperwork ahead of time and even got a reminder the day before my appointment. Funny enough, I wound up being late to the appointment because of rainy day traffic but I called the office to tell them I was a few minutes late and they were so kind about my tardiness and were accommodating. Their waiting area is well designed and naturally lit, unlike many dental offices I've been to and I just had to get a photo of it. I love it when places put thought and consideration into the ambiance, especially when people are coming to have someone poke around in their mouth. I instantly felt more at ease. Once I got seated, the technicians put "The Office" on for me while I finished the last of my paperwork on their tablet. In my next 3 visits for fillings, they still had "The Office" playing but once 2021 hit, the deal with Netflix ended so they started playing "Tiny House Nation" which I just happen to really enjoy as well LOL Anyway, I'll spare you the specific details on the dental work but will say that the dentist and his team are warm and friendly. I never once felt like I was being judged for my dental habits or my ability to afford other services that they recommended for my teeth (like braces). The pricing was transparent and just FYI, I do not have dental insurance and found the costs to be fair, but do the extra leg work and call ahead for pricing to see what works for you. Other nice touches while you're there: cool sunglasses to protect your eyes from spray, Netflix to keep you distracted while they do work on your mouth, a well-appointed interior and easy-to-read information on their tablets and TV screen pertaining to your dental work. As far as dentist experiences go, I would consider Dapper Dental to be top-notch and unlike any other that I've experienced in Orlando thus far. read more

This is the most comfortable dental experience I've ever had. Seriously, Dapper Dental sets the standard! I wasn't able to go to the dentist at all last year due to COVID, so I was ready to get my teeth cleaned. First off, the office is gorgeous and I love the Mid-Century Modern vibes and decor. The moment you enter, you're welcomed by super friendly receptionists and offered a drink (you can grab what you want from the mini-fridge near the door). Dr. Sutton and his team definitely try to create a positive environment around their dental practice and it shows. I felt their COVID precautions were pretty adequate; everyone was wearing masks and my temperature was taken upon entering. There was also plenty of hand sanitizer everywhere and the office felt super clean. Once I was called back, I had my clean-up performed by Lori, who was phenomenal. She was very thorough about explaining to me what was covered under my insurance and what wasn't; that transparency is much appreciated. She also walked me through my cleaning, explaining what my problem areas were and how I could better care for my teeth. The exam room is also really well equipped. The chairs have a massage function, there's a tv, and a blanket if you feel cold. They even gave me sunglasses to wear so that I wasn't blinded by the dental light. I really appreciated the small touches designed to make patients feel comfortable and at ease; I feel like a lot of people stress out about going to the dentist, and Dapper Dental does their best to mitigate these concerns by giving the patient a modicum of control and comfort. Dr. Sutton is also super friendly and kind. I felt at ease working with him right away. I left the appointment with my teeth well-cared for and looking forward to my next appointment. I went in with one of my crowns being cracked and missing a piece. The office submitted pre determination. Not sure why, it was clear, it had to be redone. My insurance denied it because the doctor didn't write any narrative, I called them back and asked to resubmit, I waited for over 2 months and turned out, they didn't submit it correctly again. They did not do their diligence working with my insurance and were too worried they won't get paid instead of taking care of a patient. I went to another dentist and got it done the same day and my insurance covered it with no problem. Horrible experience and waste of my time. read more

After not having been to the dentist in ten years, I was extremely anxious about my visit. The office is in a great location next to Ravenous Pig in winter park. Convenient and easy to get to and plenty of parking. The interior is modern, very clean, comfortable and spacious. Kim, at the front desk was welcoming, friendly and engaging. They offer a nice variety of water, sparkling water and other complimentary beverages in the lounge/front desk area. The work areas with the chairs are very nicely separated with floor to ceiling walls as dividers, but open to the hallway, so not closed in or cramped. They have large tvs on the walls that offer a nice distraction as well as very comfortable leather massaging chairs for the clients. Lacey was my hygienist. She was very professional, friendly, compassionate, patient and gentle. She explained the process, everything she was doing before and during working as well as showing and explaining my xrays. She showed me the cost of the procedures that were being done, recommend care, as well as what was covered and not by my insurance, which I appreciated very much so there were not any surprises and you know the cost and detail of what work is being done. Dr. Sutton was friendly and engaging. He asked if I had questions or concerns, was personable and genuine. He shows he actually enjoys what he is doing and cares about his patients. I had a great experience. After not having been to been to a dentist in ten years, I am grateful a friend recommended them.
