Just dined here for the first time and we will be back! Very cool space with a nice sized bar. My husband and I grabbed two barstools and ordered drinks. I went for a tasty super Tuscan and my husband tried their smoked old fashioned. He loved his cocktail. For dinner we shared the Caesar salad and the chicken parm. The salad was fantastic. Loved the sun dried tomatoes. Gave the salad a unique touch. The chicken parm was so good and it came with delicious fettuccine Alfredo. And the kitchen was nice enough to split the dishes for us. I've been to a fair share of Italian places, and this one missed the mark unfortunately. Service was great, and we got our food quickly, but upon getting our oil for our bread it was too much balsamic and wasn't that great. I will say the Caesar was great! My brother and I got one chicken parm and spaghetti and meatballs, and both lacked flavor and felt like nothing was really made in house. Very unfortunate :( go somewhere else on the island. read more

Heard so much about this place for good Italian and I was hoping it would be a hit. We enjoyed Agio in the past which is same owner and figured it would be nice. We started with a couple glasses of wine and a large order of mussels. The mussels were a nice portion and very tasty with nice crostini. Off to a good start. We then split a Garden Salad which again was nice. Entree choice on the menu was limited but diverse enough. My wife ordered the Tramici Piccata with shrimp and I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese. Both dishes were hot and fresh but to be honest the Piccata was really bland and basically Angel hair pasta with butter. I expected a tasty zesty sauce that would make it worth eating. Again the other ingredients were fine just underwhelming. The Bolognese was light on sauce and meat and not enough to flavor the pasta. I didn't get the rich flavor I expected. Again, both entrees were pretty much a disappointment. I wanted to like this place so much but not sure we'll give it another shot. it's possible but I'd definitely order differently if we return for sure. read more

I came here on a Friday night with a reservation. I was seated fast enough by someone who looks like they could work at McDonald's. shortly after she took orders took a while for the food to come out. I had ordered the chicken pasta, but it wasn't as good as I expected for a high-end restaurant. The chicken was far too crispy and the pasta lacked butter afterward I asked for a box and the server seemed like she had forgotten, but then 20 minutes later came back with the box. Overpriced for what it is I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Service was excellent. The food was delicious. We sat outside which we loved however the metal seats could do with cushions. We each had a cup of the soup of the day- lobster bisque. Steaming hot and tasty although it would have been nice to perhaps see a piece of lobster somewhere- preferably on the top of the soup. We ordered the caprese salad and the waiter was kind enough to split it and put it in separate bowls for us. Yummy and the balsamic flavor really came through. My short rib ravioli was delicious. The sauce was rich and just excellent. My daughter had the shrimp and crab scampi and loved it. The shrimp were plentiful and she was very happy that the tails had been removed as it made it easier to eat. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. Absolutely delicious! Every dish we had was great and despite getting it to go it included enough sauce that it didn't dry off in transit. The prices are also very reasonable. The sauce on the short rib ravioli was complex and rich as were the other sauces on other pastas. read more

I thought I reviewed, but maybe I did not. The place is nice. I got us a reservation pretty late so we had to sit outside. It was toasty. They said there were fans and it would be cool, but it's mid-July so I can't truly complain. Mom got the chicken parm. It was tasty (as it it at most places). I got the short rib ravioli. It was good. It was more like a very heavy soup. I think it would have been so much better with a lighter ravioli pasta and just a drizzle of the cram sauce. Our experience grabbing dinner at Tramici was fantastic! The bruschetta duo was amazing especially the part with prosciutto and honeycomb. We enjoyed the funghi pizza and passion fruit sorbet. Also not pictured, I ordered half a Caesar salad and it was one of my favorite Caesar salads I've had before- lots of freshly shaved Parmesan cheese. Our waitress was excellent and the table outside was an enjoyable atmosphere. She comped one of our sorbets because she thought the Pizza took too long. We honestly didn't notice the time go by, but I appreciated her pride in getting food out quickly. read more

We went for dinner to Tramici,after my wife read the reviews. What an outstanding experience. First a Big Shout Out to our server Tia G for her bubbly personality & on the spot recommendations. On Tia's recommendation I tired a Fig-ure Manhattan, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My wife tried a Aperol Spritz which was perfect. For appetizers my wife had a cup of Italian wedding soup & I had a fig salad. Both were very good. For dinner I had draft SB Mexican Lager beer & Bolognese with sausage. The pasta was cooked perfectly! My wife had Chicken Picatta, again the pasta cooked to perfection. Needless to say we are putting Tramici on our recommendation list for our family and friends. read more

I go back and forth about my experience here. It was a little more expensive than I would have liked, and the service was pretty disappointing, but the food was great! I recommend the meatballs and burrata (note: this is SMALL for the price: Three small meatballs, two toast corners, a small ball of burrata, but the tomato sauce is delicious.) and the short rib ravioli (amazing and so flavorful- no notes!). My husband got the chicken parm- he said that it was amazing as well. The waitress got visibly disappointed when we didn't want to order alcohol, and checked on us only once after that to refill my husband's cup but not mine. But another server made up for it and kept coming back to check on us, delivered our food, and made great conversation. read more

Made a reservation for 6/30/25, for a high top. Showed up 5 minutes early and was told the table would be ready in a minute. Several guest arrived while we were waiting and were seated. Around 15 minutes after our reservation time a lady arrived with no reservation and stated she was a party of three. She was seated but her guest were not there. At this point I felt the hostess should have offered that table to us since we had been waiting. I felt I needed to speak up so I did. We were seated in what I would consider a sub par table. We were never updated how our original table was progressing and there really isn't a good place to stand while waiting. Beyond this bad experience with our mixed up reservation, our service and food were good. There was obviously something going on with the two hostesses and the reservation system. read more

The restaurant was incredibly busy (because it's so good) so my table did get their food about 20-25 minutes before I got my pizza but our server was so nice and attentive that it made it worth it. We made reservations for 6:30 but the people sitting at the table would not leave so we did not get to sit until almost 7:00 so it seems like reservations don't seem to mean too much here. Initially our service was not the best, our server had at least four large parties and I think they were stretched too thin with their tables. Once the food started to come things started to improve. The wedge salad was very tasty. We also ordered the chibatta which was good and the pesto was flavorful. The asparagus salad left a little to be desired as I found it lacking in flavor and texture. For my entree I got the seafood risotto special and it was tasty but made much better by the fresh shrimp and it was cooked very well. It it pretty loud in the restaurant and the booths seemed to be placed a little too far apart from the tables. It was enjoyable but I wouldn't say it is a must stop destination on the island. read more

My Beautiful girlfriend was having her birthday dinner with her family after we had a great weekend in NYC. I ordered flowers to be delivered to their table before desert and hadn't heard from her as she would call and thank me. I called the restraunt to see if the flowers wew delivered. NO FLOWERS! The manager sent someone to buy flowers from the grocery store next door( beautiful) and placed them on the table with dessert. I was so greatful. I called back to settle up for the flowers and tip , the manager was gracious and said the fact that she was so happy and enjoyed their meal was enough and a nice review was pleanty!!! We had reservations and we were early for those reservations. We still waited 15 minutes and we were sat down at a table mot ours. Our party of four were sat at a table of 8. Waited an additional 10 minutes for staff to come welcome us. Our waitress was very nice and the food was delightful. Overall experience was just "ok". read more

Our service here was stellar. I wish I'd caught the young lady's name (she's getting married soon) because she was extremely patient, efficient and helpful. In addition, others helped take away dishes etc. The atmosphere seemed like the staff liked each other but were not standing around chatting. The food was so good! Two stars- Tramici definitely disappointed me last night. For some background, I've had tramici twice, once through takeout and last night was the first time I've been inside the restaurant. We came with a party of 8 for a birthday reservation. We were told we would get the patio but ended up in a small table in the back of the room. We had to change our reservations twice due to unforeseen circumstances but the restaurant was still able to take us. The table was ok and once the couple next to us left they ended up adding their table to ours so we could spread out a bit. We quickly got our food and drink orders. I opted for the salmon piccata. This dish costed $28 and the taste was 3/5. It was good but I've had better piccata. I'm HUGE with service so this is why I gave them two stars. Our waitress Cindy appeared to not be so friendly to us. Not sure if it was because of how late we got sat but from start to finish she was rude. I won't go into much detail because she appeared to be doing her job for most of it and maybe it was just her tone? But I'm not sure. The biggest take away was it took the birthday girl 20 mins to get an espresso martini and Cindy was asked twice and we were met with "it's coming" and we ended up seeing her behind the bar making it. Also my husband asked twice that our bill be combined and Cindy managed to bring everyone else's bill correctly including others that weren't sitting near each, but somehow I got mine as separate. I also was eating and had food in my mouth when Cindy came by and asked if I wanted a box- yes while I was chewing! I got the sense she was rushing us out, which I'm trying to understand because the bar was COMPLETELY full with others drinking and watching golf on tv. Somehow we got the short end of the stick for sitting down at a table. Also they brought out a birthday dessert for the birthday girl and inquired about nuts since we had an allergy and Cindy came back with a tiramisu and said "I've never had anyone have an allergy so i don't know if it has nuts in it but here's a tiramisu" which was fine but again her tone was definitely weird! Like I said there were other instances but these are the big ones for us. Final verdict: I will not be back here. The service left a bad taste in my mouth but they appear to have other outstanding reviews, I'm just sorry our visit didn't get us this service because the food is decent and the drinks are also good. As I said before, I'm huge on service and this occasion was enough to turn me off completely from this location. I hope the restaurant reads this and is able to rectify their service issues because it's not fair that they wanna charge higher prices and the service ends up lacking. read more

I was really disappointed with my Tramicis visit this time around :( It was my first time back since I was in high school about 3-4 years ago and it was a let down. The bread and oil used to be free but now it's a few dollars which is fine. We ordered the calamari appetizer which was probably the best part. It was played sloppily, didn't give upscale restaurant. The taste was good and the level of meat to batter portion was good, so a pretty fine appetizer. We both ordered veal parmesan as the entree and it was disappointing. The meat was tough, we had to ask for a steak knife to cute it, it was flavorless and just overall really bland. Perfect day and perfect lunch. My husband and I were limited on places to eat since most restaurants are closed on Monday or not open till dinner service. We were greeted immediately and decided to sit inside. There was a small crowd, not too noisy. We got a table next to the bar and prep station. At first I thought it would be busy, but everything had its place and was very well organized. I appreciate the hand sanitizer on the table. Our waiter, John, was prompt to get our drinks and take our order. He suggested bread with oil and balsamic, which we happily said yes to and loved. We ordered the antipasto platter, chicken piccata and the fungi pizza. When the antipasto platter came out we were shocked at the variety and amount of food. You could easily make a meal with the plater alone. His pizza was cooked perfectly with the topping placed perfectly. Mine was very good. I expected a bit more of a lemon flavor but the contemporary take was very well made. I ordered one drink, the "you're a smooth car-a-mel". It was strong and I only needed the one. I definitely would love to try more selections from the drink menu when I'm not driving. The only suggestion I would have is a fresh coat of paint on some of the walls or a wipe down on the walls in the booths. This did not change my review at all. Age happens to all restaurants. Overall, it's easy to say we will be back and would love to try dinner on the next visit. read more
