Our Vietnamese friend recommended us to this newly opened coffee shop and we saw the egg coffee is one of the top drinks people recommended so we ordered one. Just like what some of the yelpers said, the medium and large sized coffee are very much the same in volume, so don't waste your money and just order the smaller size cup.

VIP & Egg Coffee

Stopped by Tram Cream Coffee in Little Saigon (San Jose) before we started our weekend. I ordered the VIP and the Egg Coffee--both were so delicious. The VIP was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, while the Egg Coffee had that smooth, velvety top with just the right amount of sweetness. If you've never tried egg coffee before, this is definitely the place to do it! The flavors were unique and comforting at the same time--everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. You can tell they take pride in their drinks. If it is too strong, you can let the ice melt to help dilute it :) Can get really busy in there too. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Egg Coffee and Egg Cacao

This spot always seems to be popping on weekends! We hung out here for an hour or two, and during that time they exclusively played Bruno Mars music, which I found amusing (and thoroughly enjoyed). This was my second time coming, and I ordered the classic egg coffee while my fiancé ordered the egg cacao. The barista who handed me my drink was very helpful and gave guidance on needing to shake the drink very well first before drinking it. I really feel like this place deserves more stars than it has because everyone is out here complaining about the ice, but it's Vietnamese coffee! It's so strong and you need to wait for the ice to melt a bit and the egg cream to really combine with the drink for that perfect sweet, creamy flavor. The egg coffee with less sugar is my favorite. For the egg cacao, my fiancé ordered regular sugar and thought it was a little too sweet for his taste, but I still thought it was good, almost like chocolate milk. Will definitely be coming back.

Came here on a busy Saturday afternoon. It felt like a Starbucks cafe - packed with people drinking their drinks, as well as families and their kids. While it was busy, it seemed like a nice space to sit with a laptop on a slower day. I would've opted to order at the kiosk but to keep the line moving, I ordered at the counter with the cashier. I ordered the white bear, which was highly suggested by a friend. Unfortunately since I ordered at the counter, I didn't realize I could alter the sweetness level and the worker didn't give that option, so I ended up with the standard options. It was good, but really sweet - if I had the option, I would've done less sweetness and less ice. But overall I enjoyed the drink and would come back!

Best Vietnamese Egg, Ice coffee with Condensed milk. Delicious! Quick service , the line wasn't too bad , a bit noisy but that's expected.

Located in a large outdoor shopping center this place is one of many boba shops in this area. Dragonfruit tea with tea, dragonfruit puree, strawberries, 0% sugar, was just okay. I felt the tea and fruit were watered down. Didn't get that Tong Sui kind of dragonfruit flavor. 2 stars. Fruit tea: only large size, was a huge dissapointment. Pretty watered down. 2 our of 5 stars. My coworker's egg coffee apparently was good, but I didn't try it. Super crowded place and hard to find parking. Since I didn't like my drinks, I'll give this place 3 stars.

Coconut Avocado and Peach Orange Tea

Wish I had heard of this place sooner! Staff was extremely kind and helpful. A female cashier (didn't catch her name) was very kind and answered all of our questions. She was accommodating and made sure our drink sweetness was to our liking when we got our drinks! :) I ordered the avocado coconut smoothie and loved it! I ordered this as a plan B after the matchaya was sold out, and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. It's very creamy, light, and has a natural sweetness to it. You can taste the avocado and it pairs so well with the coconut. There's also real coconut meat shavings on top, so good! I also tried the peach citrus tea--sooo flavorful and citrusy. Really loving how fresh the tea was! Notes: There's plenty of seating inside with tables and nooks for two. There's one kiosk to order from but staff will take your order if there's a line. I recommend this spot!

I really enjoyed the black sesame coffee I got at the other location but decided to come here instead since there was paper in my drink at the other one. However, I realized the drink isn't as good at this location. The coffee itself is still great, and I think the less sweet option is perfect. The black sesame cream is thinner in consistency here and they don't give very much. Came on a Saturday afternoon and the whole place was packed, but line moved quickly and drinks came out even faster! Absolutely no parking in the entire plaza.

Sesame Cream Coffee

Wanted some caffeine as I was waiting to pick up my order from nearby CA Bakehouse. This plaza is always so busy when I come! I got the sesame cream coffee from the creamliner series. There is a BOGO promotion month of October on Mondays and Tuesdays for certain hours! (Unfortunately I came on a Saturday). I thought it was pretty good. The sesame flavor isn't overpowering, which was nice! The sweetness is balanced by the bitter from the coffee. The inside has ample seating, but I do think it's quite loud inside -- so if you're looking for somewhere to study or do some work: this is not the place. Even though they were super busy, my order came out pretty quickly!

Saturday, 08/30/25. My mom and I were visiting my sister for the Labor Day weekend and my sister wanted us to try out new foods and drinks that are considered must-tries and a staple in San Jose. My sister's fiance was nice enough to grab 2 Egg Coffees and oh my - it was sooo good! Definitely sweet but it was also very creamy due to the egg and also the coffee taste was the perfect amount of bitterness. I love a strong coffee as long as it has the perfect amount of sweetness, this just hits the spot!!! Located in Little Saigon in San Jose. 5/5!!!!! *** Of Note: I just looked up this place and there is 1 location in Southern California - Garden Grove!!!!! I must go! ***

Been here in weekday and weekend. If you want a good place to study, go in towards the beginning of the week (Monday). Drinks are nice, but they do run out of drinks pretty quickly. My friend usually orders the Tropical Fruit Tea and it ran out on Monday. Service could be better. No greeting or welcoming in. They focused a lot more on making drinks rather than customer service.

Wintermelon Tea
Dang L.

Review is for the wintermelon drink only. Ordered to go and service was quick. Wintermelon flavor was light but I really enjoyed the jelly with the sweet wintermelon drink. I took 3 stars off because it was over 75% ice and I did not pay for ice. (See picture) I got the drink and went for a walk. Within 10 minutes I had finished all of the drink (this is quick for me as usually I take 2 days to finish my drinks) - but it was hot that day. And when I finished the drink within 10 minutes of walking in the hot sun. It was still over 70% ice in the container. See pics. I had a similar experience with their other location so I wanted to try out this location. But it's just as bad. Not coming in to order this again.

Lots of seating but also popular chatting hot spot. Inside is decorated warmly. I was surprised that it had the number on the sign LOL. Ordering is fast but drinks can take a while as its only two ladies. They also have food like rice paper salad! I got the green gem, the matcha is okay. Its a little thick sort of like a slushie. But the coffee has a beautiful roasted flavor. The cup sizes are pretty good for the price. The tropical fruit drink had real fruit bits and the tea wasn't too sweet. Overall, skip the matcha and get coffee. It didn't taste super concentrated and had nice flavor (but I got a mix)

It comes packed with rice paper, basil, beef, chicken jerky, pork rinds, boiled egg, mango, and sautéed shrimp. You get a little bit of everything in each bite. Presentation wise, it looks super good right when you open the container. Before eating, you definitely want to mix it really well so all the flavors come together. They also give you a glove, which makes it way easier (and less messy) to toss everything properly. Flavor wise, it's a nice balance of savory, tangy, and a little sweet from the mango. The textures are also really satisfying: chewy, crunchy, and soft all at once. Service was quick and efficient. The wait for the food was only a few minutes, which made it perfect for a quick snack shop. The staff were also friendly, and everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for something different and snacky to share with friends. I'd come back again to try more!

I love that the rice paper itself was flavorful, savory, spicy, shrimpy and garlicky. The tamarind sauce on the side was sweet and tangy. I like to pour it over the rice paper so it softened up. I also like the toppings they added for the mixed combo rice paper, nice blend of texture and flavors from jerky, pork rinds, mango, and egg. My personal favorite topping was the Vietnamese coriander, perfect to pair with the rice paper. I highly recommend the combo mixed rice paper. I also got their milk tea & coconut kumquat to try & tbh they were super disappointing. The milk tea & coconut kumquat were unbearably sweet, I couldn't even get to half of the cups. For the milk tea, the tea scent didn't pulled through at all. I was basically sipping on burnt sugary milk. Overall, giving this place 3/5 star because they need to improve their drinks.

The banana cream felt lacking as well. Even after mixing the cream top with the matcha, it felt unsatisfying and not enough banana flavor. Temperatures were just under 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside. The air conditioning was great in here, not freezing cold but cool enough to be comfortable. There were a few other tables of people with their laptops out, and I was excited to see that they have expanded since my last visit and added more seating for customers. The lotus milk tea is still one of my favorites in the whole city. We sat at a table so there was no outlet, but I can't remember if there were outlets along the walls for the booth seating. The WiFi worked well and if there was background music it was not being blasted loudly. I would definitely keep this spot top of mind if I needed a reliable spot to work remote again, especially since there is now more seating than there used to be. Looking forward to coming by again soon!
