The parking lot was full and the place was packed out for Wednesday evening. Many had to wait for tables. The fried green beans were good and definitely had a kick. I got the brisket and smoked bologna which were both very good. Wait staff was friendly. Overall I would consider coming back when I'm traveling in the area. read more

The worst ribs I have ever had. They were dry and tough with a lot of fat. Only ate a few bites. Asked to speak to the manager and was told he wasn't working that day. Only persons I could talk to were a couple of teenagers (the waitress and casher) and neither said they could do anything for me. I have eaten at this restaurant multiple times over the past seven years but I will never go back again. read more

My favorite BBQ joint in Owasso. In Tulsa I love Billy Ray's, but it's a long ways to drive, when we have Trails End right here. Just I used to work in West Tulsa. Then got transferred to the far NE corner of town. Trails End worked for me. I would take visiting consultants there for lunch, these guys kept going back on their own for the evening meal. read more

Love this place! The pulled pork BBQ was juicy but not full of fat. Great wait staff, fantastic sides and especially the broccoli salad. I'll be back. read more

Friendly, clean and the best smoked turkey you will ever eat. The bread pudding was just excellent. They treated me like family! I will be back read more

Great service and food! Love the slaw and dessert!! Always clean and busy. Appreciate another great option for local food.

I got a rib dinner with green beans and okra. All of it was delicious. Everything was warm and tasted fantastic.

Love the catfish, broccoli salad, sweet potato fries with ranch, brisket sandwiches and french fries. Not impressed with the breakfast but loved the dinner/lunch! read more

Always good food! They sometimes have some waitresses that are not super friendly but most are. Highly recommend the BBQ is on point. We love it! The apple cobbler is really good too. read more

Really good food and priced right. Their breakfast is wonderful. I will return and eat there again and again.

Maybe 3 1/2 stars? Clean. Pretty good food. Owner came out to see guests. Waitresses could use a little spunk. Only one seemed to sparkle and although the place seemed to be getting customers the atmosphere was rather dull. Interesting selection of sides included a rather nice tabouli. Portions seemed a little on the small size. Perhaps sprucing up the plates a bit would have helped. Would have appreciated a salt-free baked potato. read more

Trails End Barbecue... Well I have decided that I do not like Rhubarb cobbler... I had made plans to be here tonight after seeing that they had AYCE ribs for $12.59 yesterday on a billboard somewhere and since I had not been here in about 12 years, I figured it was time for go. I believe that they are the only BBQ place in Owasso that is not a franchise and stand in a category of their own all by themselves. Not much to say about the décor inside, Main dining room had about 6 bulbs that did not work in their fixtures, pictures of old dead actors and actresses run a border around the top of the room. Tables are covered with local advertisements, and various artifacts from a time when America used to be great adorn the walls. There was about 7 tables occupied when I arrived and only one had any trace of food on it, aside from drinks. I was greeted and seated promptly, ordered my drink and went to wash up. I was brought a menu and made quick work of it as I already knew what I wanted. This is what I ordered for review. * Ice tea no sugar. Asked for lemon, did not get any. * AYCE Ribs * Fried okra and baked beans for my obligatory sides * Desert: rhubarb cobbler. From a choice of apple, strawberry and. I was seated at the table in the middle of the restaurant where I could see the waitresses come in and out of the kitchen and prep areas. When I made my order, I started a timer to see how long it took for delivery of ribs that were already cooked, baked beans that were already cooked and the okra which should take about 10 minutes tops. Food was delivered at 11 minutes 30 seconds. Pretty good time IMO. On a large stoneware platter were four generous sized ribs to the right, placed in pairs doglegged for presentation or accident. Okra and beans each in a scalloped glass serving cup top and bottom, one slice of grilled Texas toast cut across the corners and placed on the left. I was told by my server that they had a couple of sauces on the table in squeeze bottles and that they could bring me some spicy sauce if I wanted some. I was delivered by choice a Styrofoam bowl of their hot BBQ sauce. As I waited for the sauce I sampled the okra which was cooked to a golden crisp, I keep hoping one day I'll order it somewhere and they'll serve me something that is made in house with cornmeal and love. Not tonight. Sauce was delivered and I first tried a rib without the sauce. Visually the ribs were a nice dark red color on the outside; prepared with a dry rub they had a thin bark and a nice smoke ring on each one. Meat was pulled back on the bone about 1 inch. The ribs didn't smell strong of smoke and were carefully cut and plated vs being chopped with a cleaver from the rack. Smoke flavor was subtle, oak and pecan flavor I believe and the meats flavor was able to come right through it. The meat was firm but tender and pulled easily from the bone. I used the nicely flavored hot BBQ sauce on the rest and as I ate I heard another server ask another group of patrons something I'd never heard before. I thought I saw lightning strike out of the corner of my eye, but it was a gentlemen's hand at the table next to me, rising at near the speed of sound in his acknowledgement of "who wants more ribs?" Is America really becoming great again? I, I, I can't say that I have ever heard a server ask that question at any restaurant. "Who wants more ribs?" It put a smile on my face and made my day. Subsequently, my turn came and I was asked the happy question. And I was obliged with two more ribs that were even bigger and better than the first four. In the wait for these two ribs, (about 3-4 minutes) I had a chance to eat the beans and the rest of my okra. The beans were very good. They contained pieces of onion, and meat and appeared to have a molasses BBQ sauce base. Very good flavor and texture overall. As I was eating my beans I noticed the pickle bar near the kitchen my server forgot to mention. Visit it for onion, jalapeños, dill and bread and butter pickles. I has some of each pickle and don't find them remarkable. I quit at six ribs, a bowl of okra, a bowl of beans a piece of toast and two glasses of tea. Now my server did ask if I wanted some more ribs and to be truthful I really did want some more ribs, but had no place left to put them. I did have room left for the desert they offered as part of my meal. I have never tried rhubarb anything let alone rhubarb cobbler. Being and adventurer, I jumped in with both feet and ordered the cobbler which was served cold. Have I mentioned that I do not l like rhubarb cobbler. Texas bbq has me spoiled rotten. The atmosphere the culture the staff was great. Yet the food was way under par for me. I got the appetizer combo with fries pickles/ fried Jalepeno/ and fried chips. Normally bland. I got the two meat combo with chopped brisket & ribs. Again normally bland. read more

Great service, great food and great price. Our table had salads, smoked chicken, smoked barbecue and a pulled barbecue sandwich. Everything was delicious. Trails End BBQ in Owasso is a really solid option if you want BBQ in Owasso. Their ribs and individual meats are 'decent' but not on the same level as a place like Burn Co, however they are very comparable to the level of Rib Crib. My favorite dish at Trails End is the Ramwich which is composed of chopped brisket, smoked bologna, and hot links. It's very tasty and quite reasonable priced! I can't recommend it highly enough if you want something solid for lunch! Also they have all you can eat catfish on Fridays which isn't bad! read more

Trails End BBQ - The delicious Ramwich! - Barbeque Near Me - Owasso, Oklahoma

We had company in town that wanted BBQ so we opted to head over to Trails End. I've eaten there several times before. It's okay, but nothing special. We had a large group so we knew the wait would be a while so we got there nice and early and got our name on the list. After waiting outside for 40-45 minutes and seeing everyone else that was there get seated and others that showed up after us get seated I went in to check on the list to see where we were at and couldn't find our name. I flagged someone down and asked if we missed getting called or something and they didn't even seem to understand what I was saying. I finally told her that we had been here for almost an hour waiting and now it looks like someone erased our name. Finally she put us back on the list...all the way at the bottom and told me it would probably be an hour wait to get our group seated. Unbelievable and we're not going to be going back after an hour of wasted time corralling a bunch of kids just to end up going back to the house to eat. read more

Trails End BBQ. Where to begin. First time to Owasso and it was suggested to try Trails End. If you like a divey, casual setting and GREAT food. This is your place. I'll start with the appetizers. To get the full affect go with the pick 3. Spicy fried green beans, Fried cheddars And jalapeño bites, and fried pickle chips. Perfection! Now the foe the Tuesday night special. ALL YOU CAN EAT RIBS!!!! Not mini ribs but big juicy smoked ribs! They are smoked absolutely perfect with flavor that kicks your taste buds like Bruce Lee! They come out speedy and the waitresses are very attentive. For this review I'd give 6 stars if they'd let me. If your within 20 miles of this place. You should try. read more

Food was okay. Nothing special. Ribs and Pulled Pork were a bit bland. Coleslaw and beans pretty decent. The most intolerable part was sitting down, ordering and then somebody cranked the Christian radio up. It's an overhead speaker system, so a bit difficult enjoy a meal with whiny religious music playing. Attention business owner, not everyone patronizing your restaurant wants to listen to that nonsense. How about putting your customers first and playing some quiet background music that everyone can enjoy I'm in town frequently but wiill eat somewhere else from now on. read more

Recently, Mr John Cash and the Trail's End BBQ team prepared a catering order to go for a wedding party of approx 100 people, sliced brisket and pulled pork. A long time staple in Owasso proved why they have been a popular destination and "go-to" spot for tasty Q. Whether you're looking to dine-in or carry out, orders of all sizes, no need to go anywhere else- it was perfectly prepared and the packaging presentation was nothing short of a Michelangelo. Highly recommend. read more

Mediocre bbq at best and quite overpriced. $18 for a 2 meat dinner and Pepsi is steep. It also took roughly 15 min to prepare an already cooked Togo order after a 20 min wait in a line with 2 other people. Chopped brisket is the consistency of a sloppy joe. Will not return. read more

Good barbecue run by locals. Pulled pork and brisket are their best offerings. Good service. They serve a free dessert with every meal.

This place has the best barbecue not just in this town but from any that I've had. They are all really great people also and service is excellent. You even get a free dessert when you're eating in with certain items you buy. Make sure you check out their specials on certain days they have all you can eat catfish and all you can eat ribs!! The ribs are fall off the bone delicious!! They also have live music... I think on Friday nights. Definitely check them out! PS... they have the best chicken I've ever had! It is not dry and it's the breast off the bone!! I don't know how they keep it moist but they do! I know that they have won awards with this recipe. Now I have to go eat there because I'm starving! read more

Everything we had was delicious. Brisket was fork tender. The sides were good. The cobbler also a nice finish to the meal. Bbq sauce was served on the side as it should be. Courteous service. Reasonably priced. We did not leave hungry! read more

This review is as much out the service as it is about the food. We enjoyed the various meats, especially the ribs. Even the Texas Toast seemed to have a crunchy, smokey flavor. Very good. Opted for the 4-meat combo so we could have leftovers. Husband wished the meat was a bit warmer. The restaurant filled quickly after arrival and stayed busy throughout our visit. That's always a good sign. We would definitely come back. BUT, the highlight of our visit was our server, Chelse. What a smile! Easy to talk with, great sense of humor, very efficient..she is a treasure as representative of this restaurant. read more

My husband and l travel the country and visit LOTS of small BBQs. Trails End stands out as one the best. The food, value and service were exemplary. Our waitress, Chelsea, was amazing. I have Celiac's and she was super accommodating. She was efficient and very personable. But of course the most important thing is the BBQ.... and it is amazing. The sides we sampled were delicious. A wonderful place. read more

No service for the first 15 minutes. No beer selection. My brisket was over cooked to a pulp and dry as a bone.

Very disappointed. Went there to enjoy a rib dinner and didn't get much for the price($13.99). I ordered the 2 meat combo. I got two small ribs(mostly fat) and 1 small hotlink cut up. I chose fries as 1 side. There was maybe 10-12 fries. The other side was baked beans. They were average. Nothing special about the ribs or hot links. I can get better ribs(and more for the price) at Billy Ray's or JL's. I also asked for hot bbq sauce. It was brought to me in a small Styrofoam bowl. About 2 tablespoons worth. My meal was the equivalent of a kid's meal. It should have been about $7.00. My wife got a salad. It was about 3 pieces of lettuce and 1 slice of tomato($2.49). Also, got the 3 appetizer combo(fried pickles, Jalapeno cheese balls, and pasture chips) for $7.99. It was worth about $3.99. The whole meal was a rip off. Won't ever go gain and will not recommend.-gk read more

The best BBQ joint you will ever eat at. The ribs are simply amazing, and packed with flavor. The sauce is truly amazing, and I could probably drink the stuff. The pickle bar is also on-par, although I've never been a fan of sweet pickles. Tabouli is also something the small restaurant does well. Highly recommend. read more
