Needed to buy a dump trailer. It's been outside of town, but it had quite a few different models and sizes have dumped trailers. As I was looking at the trailers, a salesman came out to ask me if I needed help. I told him that I was looking for a 5 x 10 trailer. They had one on the lot. It actually looked used. It had dents and scratches inside, pretty dirty and no spare tire. I asked him if the trailer was used he said no that when the beds are shipped, as they stack a lot of stuff in them like tires and other trailer beds and so they get banged up. That's just the way it was.... Of course, when asking about the spare tire, he said it was $200 extra. The one thing he did tell me is since it was the last trailer this size, to go online and put a dollar down and it will hold the trailer for a week. So I did this. That gave me some time to shop around. While shopping around, I was able to locate the exact same trailer size, with a spare tire, tarp, spreader, for about $1000 less. So friendly and helpful but kind of gave me a used car sales type of feeling. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, when I ask if u have a 20ft trailer to sell Mr and u walk out and look at my car (a diesel jeep with 6k towing capacity) and condescending talk down to me on "u can't tow it with that"..... wow... and to add to insult, after I tell the (HORRIBLE) salesman that it's rated at 6k towing he goes "well still ..u have another truck?" My answer was.... I do.. its a nona truck.... "well what's a nona truck"... I answered: "it's a NON OF YOUR DARN BUSINESS TRUCK", climbed up to my jeep and drove away! My wife and drove 100 miles to pick out a trailer we were reapproved for only to be told "nope" so, on the way back home we called the finance company (thinking maybe we got something wrong) who told us "they didn't understand, we were all set to go" What a waste of time! think I will take my time and money somewhere else read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I would give 0 stars if possible. I own a business and purchased 2 box trailers in December of 2024. In March, we noticed the tires were balding heavily on each side of the trailer. Brody asked us to bring it in, so we did. They called me and said that they see this all the time and we should weigh the trailer as they assumed it was overloaded. The Gross total weight of the trailer and cargo should not exceed 7000 pounds. I told them we were nowhere near that weight. You would think a trailer company would have scales and weight it and assess everything, but no. They let me leave on bald tires and go weight it. They said If I called this number I could get approved for warranty tires right away. I called, it was a message directing me to a website to fill out a warranty form. Very poor service. I took the trailer to a scale and it weighed approximately 5120 or so, way under the max load. I followed up with trailers plus, and called the corporate office which did take a message and apologized for the poor service, but I never did receive a call. I followed up with Brody a week later asking what action was going to take place. His response was that he added the weight to the warranty form, but they show clip marks showing that the trailer bottomed out, which was not part of the first conversation. But who knows, we could have hit a pothole or went over the bridge on I 465 on the West side which has a lot of bounce to it. Either way, they detected nothing wrong when they inspected it. I asked for pictures of the marks so I could understand the issue and have never received them. I was also told the regional manager Kyle was going to call me, nothing. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else if you own a business, they do not value your time and do not offer professional services to support you if there are issues. Bought "local" and it cost me. Bought a few parts today, two of them are not needed. TrailersPlus return policy.... "No returns, period". I just bought them two hours ago, unused and they would not take them back. It's no wonder Amazon is taking over. I can't remember the last time I bought anything from anyone with a "No returns" policy. The manger "Jeremy" said, did you read the fine print on the invoice? #1: I did not get an invoice, on my credit card receipt. #2: Who reads the fine print on a parts purchase? I don't and I don't believe most sane people would either. If this is how they treat their customers with a simple request to return parts, an hour after I bought them then I will nail the part up on my wall as a reminder to never do business with TrailersPlus and to never buy anything from them. Horrible place to shop around. We called they took like 10 minutes to answer, all we needed was couple parts. I'm pretty sure that the manager came out and told us we needed to wait because they were in the middle on something, he was pretty rude. If there was another place that would sold what we needed we would of never come here. It docent make sense how there gate is close how the hell do they spect business. I bought a trailer from Trailers Plus pre-COVID. It was a good experience. I just tried to get it serviced and WOW, what a change. You have to call Idaho to even get on the lot - they keep customers locked out. There is no way to reach the store direct. I set up my appointment and they wouldn't open the gate because they were running late. Myself and two other cars sat on the side of the highway. Customer service in Idaho was no help. If you make a appointment dont expect to show up early they have the lot locked down and wait till your appointment time to even walk from the office to open the gate. Wouldn't recommend this place to buy any trailer!!! They cheap out on parts and wanted to charge $650 to replace the hydraulic hoses on my dump trailer. Instead I called in a local hose and fittings store and got better quality hoses with fittings for $150. Only took me about 30 minutes to remove and install the new hoses. read more

So once I got my trailer over a year ago, customer service quit. I've called many times for items and usually it takes 3 or 4 calls. I've tried showing up and it looks like a compound the way they Block the gate with equipment like a barricade and they are there. You call the number on gat and can only leave a message. I had issues with trailer jack and was told they had defective Jack's and would replace. I took mine off and removed plate and had about 1/8 cup of metal shavings. After arranging time to get part. I sat outside of gate 30 minutes give or take after I called and left message. Finally got part and they were so arrogant that theycl called me to tell me landing gear was good not bad. I've been trying to get a spare tire and can only leave messages with no return call yet. These people have shut their business down from covid and never reopened. Car dealers stayed open because there is a need. Trailers are part of a need also. I can get my truck service that tows the trailer but can't even talk to anyone at trailers plus about my trailer. My wife and I called and talked to someone and we told they had a trailer, went there and they didn't, so we had to order one. Seems like a wife and husband couple runs the place, my experience was the wife would go over the moon to help, the husband seemed abut stand off'ish it like but you're trailer and get out....but then my trailer plug on my truck broke and he gave me one? Maybe I just didn't get his personality.... Over all I'd go back, I had gone there a couple times while "window" shopping and something led me back. This dealership is perfectly fine. No problems. But the Interstate trailers that are manufactured in Nampa ID are very poor quality. The door and the back door-ramp leak when it rains. The frame is unpainted behind the walls; it rusts because of the leaks. The frame is painted only on the visible areas. The one piece roof is fine and doesn't leak. Everything else leaks, because the siding and doors are not sealed. Many of the bolts used to hold the trim and aluminum siding are over tightened so that the heads break off when you remove them (I took them off to seal up the water leaks.) I have installed shelving and tried to use a level, but nothing on these trailers is level. They are thrown together and welded as much as a 1/4 or 1/2 inch off. You can put the level on the floor, walls, frame, sides, front, back, and each one has a different reading. The outside is painted with cheap single stage paint. I removed the large stickers and used a product that removes glue residue. It removed the paint too! At least that was on the aluminum that won't rust. The 3/8 plywood inside is fine but when you take it down to insulate the trailer, you will see that the plywood is not level at the top of the trailer frame. They cover that up with trim. It's not really a problem, but for the price, it could have been built a lot better. Be prepared for water stains on the plywood from all the leaks, as well. I have spent hours and hours sealing leaks and fixing other things on a NEW trailer instead of hauling my 4 wheeler and camping. read more

They stayed with us every step of the way with excellent service going the extra mile. After our thorough instruction orientation, the entire staff and owners walked up to us with congratulation applause and a huge gift bag! When we had to empty our old trailer and fill our new trailer, they gave us a spacious site on their lot to accomplish this. Even helped my husband lift the heavy boxes/items. Bought a 6x10 trailer with a covered cargo basket. They said there was a 30 day warranty. I took it off road and when I returned home the lid to the basket had flown off ( welding point failed ) and all my lights were not working. The wires for the lights were cut from rocks. I should have known the wires would fail because the wiring was not tucked in or covered. I called Trailers plus and took my trailer in and showed them. The answer I got from them was none of this will be covered by the warranty. Another thing I noticed was under the paint was rust. Apparently the manufacturer dips the trailer in paint before they sell them and covers up the rust. I spent a lot of money because I wanted quality. What I got was a POS trailer. I will never go back and I will never let my friends buy there! read more

Picked it up Friday morning. They accommodated my every request. They opened two hours early to get me in and out where I was able to get back to Sacramento and make it to work on time. The manager told me if I was not going to have additional work done to the trailer, he was not going to fix the stake pockets or gate under warranty....telling me it is not his problem.
