Hi, I was hoping foodora would prompt me for a review of the delivery I received but got nothing. Delivery through foodora was great. Timing as usual is slow but I have come to accept that ordering from the app. The food itself... totally different story. Usually the food on foodora is good and worth the extra wait time; however, my order from Tradional Fish & Chips I couldn't even call dog food as I would have been arrested and charged with cruelty to animals had I fed it to my dogs. 2 servings of fish & Chips for $16 plus taxes and fees for each serving for a 3" x 4" piece of greasy battered fish and a 1/2 pound of fries that were over cooked (boiled in old dank burnt oil) & burnt to a crisp! Even in the very photo they use depicts dried out crusty over cooked low quality fries! Wow!!! The whole lot immediately thrown into the trash. Completely inedible! To the owners of this restaurant, it would be in your best interest to close down. Your food isn't fit for human consumption let alone any form of animal!!!

Went there on a whim just cuz I was in the area looking at cars. The guy on the cash pretty friendly and recommended the spicy fish. Took a while to get the orders though. Only one guy doing cash and making the food so I can't say much but still. While the fish was quite tasty. The spices were a bit on the strong side in the sense they hit you just a tad. But I truly didn't like the fact that it was one not that thick, second it felt a bit on the mushy side. The veggies given with it, fresh as well as the green sauce with em. The tartar sauce was packaged which wasn't good. The fries get a special mention. Very nice. Thick cut. Tasty. The place itself small cozy but I'll assume more of a takeout place rather than dine in. All in all a fun experience.

~ This is about a 3.5 stars place ~ Was craving for some fish and chips so I thought to check this place out and to my surprise this wasn't that bad as they had a lot of options to choose from which didn't just include fish. We ordered their Cod fish with spicy fries and Spicy fish with Poutine fries. The Potatoes were the winner here. We really enjoyed their spicy fries and the Poutine's gravy was really good. The spicy fish was really enjoyable but the cod fish was not the best of this world. They don't make their own tartar sauce and you get the packaged version which is give out at lot of take-out joints. The price is reasonable, staff is friendly and service is fast. There is parking on the premises and few tables in the restaurant for seating. They also have burgers & wraps like souvalki, zinger, sharawara...etc. For my Muslim folks - I confirmed with the staff that they serve halal meat here.

WORST EVER!!! Fish was Over cooked! AND when you think of Halibut you think of a nice big thick piece of meat not here my Halibut was the size and thickness of a poptart! EW Never again! NOT to mention the mushrooms...there like over battered chicken balls totally the wrong kind of batter for mushrooms!! Yuk!

Walking in, we were greeted with a smile. The interior of the restaurant was spacious with a private feel since they had areas sectioned off from one another. We ordered the Japchae (5/5), Boneless Yangnyum Galbi (4/5), Pork Belly (4/5). Japchae was delicious with a hint of smokey flavour to it. The noodles were chewy and complemented well with the savoury flavours of bulgogi. The vegetables added a nice crunch to every bite. The mushrooms added a chewy and fun texture to the dish. Boneless Yangnyum Galbi was so tender. Its marinade was on the sweet side which we weren't really a fan of but we still enjoyed the dish. Pork Belly was also tender. It was thinly sliced which was quite a let down since we typically prefer pork belly sliced a bit thicker. The BBQ we ordered came with two bowls of rice and lettuce (non-refillable), ssamjang and sesame oil with black pepper and salt for dipping, and some side dishes that were refillable: kimchi, bean sprouts, cucumbers and sweet potato. The overall quality of the ingredients, especially the meats, were great. It was pretty telling how much the cooks enjoyed prepping and cooking the dishes. This place is on the pricier side which is reasonable for the quality of their food. The portions are also reasonable for their price-points. I'd come back on a special occasion and/or when I'm craving japchae. The servers we had were attentive, checking in every so often to clear our dishes and change our grills.

The meat was really flavourful and well-seasoned, and they've got a big variety of cuts to choose from. I also liked that they've also got veggie options and other sides that make the meal feel balanced. The ambience is really nice too, kind of chill but still lively, and they've got these cute lights outside. Service was great, the staff were super kind and really quick to help us out whenever we needed something. It's a little on the pricier side, but honestly that's pretty standard for Korean BBQ, and the quality here makes it worth it. Easily in my top 3 Korean BBQ spots in Mississauga.

We ordered the platter for two, it came with samosa, soup, mango juice, salad, choice of pasta or rice & 2 meat options. We opted to try both chicken and beef stew with rice. For starters, The beef samosa was absolutely delicious, it was paired with a green spicy sauce. The soup was light, but flavourful. I have to say the beef stew was my favourite, it was flavourful and the meat was tender. The service was great. It was a chilly in there, the only criticism would be that it could use some personal touches, the restaurant itself seems a little bare. But the food made up for it.

It wasn't open yet but when I came back and visited again, a few weeks ago, I saw that it was open. So of course I had to try it. The new location is spacious, clean and very family-friendly. They've got a robot that brings you the food to your table. Staff is friendly and portions are as always, generous. Even with the platter for 2, we struggled to finish and we were 3 people + 2 kids. Their sambusa is also really good. The only thing I noticed is that the quality of the mango juice went a little down, as it tasted a little watered down (and unlike the thick mango juice I'm used to). Other than that, everything was an 11/10 as always. Hamdi is a place I'll never get tired of and a place I'll always go back to. Amazing value for money. Great quality and tasty food. Their goat + suqqar are my favourite.

Recommend the signature sandwich which was incredible. Holy Cow was so filling and the meat was juicy and tender. Had the smashed potatoes with both sauces better than old school fries. The flavor was just bursting out of these little potatoes. Washing it down with the house made lemonade elixir was a treat as they make it in house. The next time I have to try the salad bowls or the Blazin beef. Highly recommended to all my friends if you are in the area.

I know a lot of people have reservations paying top dollar for just a sandwich, but I'd say the quality of ingredients and flavourful sauces is totally worth it. I always get the holy cow sandwich with vamp sauce, but will occasionally get the chicken sandwich with lunar sauce. I did try the lemonade they had once, but to be honest, it doesn't quite fit my palate. The lemonade has some sort of seasoning in it. If you've had lemonade from East Asian restaurants, you would kind of know what to expect. They also give you a discount card that you can show for an extra 15% off when you visit. If you're in the area looking for a quick bite, I'd give this place a shot.
