I live in Orange County and found the exact car we needed at Hayward Subaru in the Bay Area. It was the perfect car for us, but I had absolutely no interest in driving 400 miles to buy a basic sedan. Michael made the process incredibly easy. He explained that we could complete all of the paperwork online and have the car shipped directly to our home. I had never purchased a car this way, so I was a little skeptical at first, but I decided to give it a try. I also preferred to handle everything by text and email, which is much more convenient for me. Michael was completely comfortable with that and was responsive throughout the entire process. We started the process Thursday morning. By Thursday afternoon, all of the paperwork was signed and completed. The car was delivered to our house around midday Saturday, and it arrived exactly as expected -- perfect. I've purchased more than 40 cars in my life, and this was by far one of the easiest car-buying experiences I've ever had. No spending hours at a dealership, no unnecessary back-and-forth, and no 400-mile road trip. Just a straightforward transaction handled almost entirely from my computer and phone. A big thank you to Michael Tran for making the whole experience so easy. If you're considering buying from Hayward Subaru, I'd definitely recommend reaching out to Michael.

WORST DEALERSHIP EVER. DO NOT SERVICE HERE. So my dad…read morebrought his VW here and it's a 2012 car that was having misfires but he DROVE it there and it was working. They said they would work on it this was July 22. They gave him an expected finish date of August 3. Throughout this time he would call for updates and get NONE. Then this Monday (a week after the date he was given that the car would be finished) they told him they switched the sparks whatever it is and it's working. Then he gets a call yesterday saying that the car won't turn on and to come tow it out of VW. My dad asked me to go with him since English isn't his first language and wanted to know what happened. I go talk to the service manager Rob. Horrible customer service, rude and was lowkey using threatening like language to the point where I asked him is that supposed to be a threat? I was basically telling him that they ruined a running car and should be liable for that! why would my dad have to tow it AND PAY 1500$?!? He started saying he's been doing this for a long time and he knows what I'm trying to say and that he's testified in courts before?! Like okay? Very hostile. And so I reiterated my point, the car was working and now you want us to pay 1500$ for a dead car? And he said those are the expenses of labor and the new plugs? I said take off the new plugs, why would I wanna pay for plugs on a dead car? He said because your dad authorized us to put them on and I said he did when he thought the car was working!! And then he goes to say if I were to go to a dentist and die the next day would the dentist be at fault? And then I said he would be if I died on his chair and that's exactly what happened, the car died in their shop. Then he dared to say that the car WAS TOWED TO THEM. no it wasn't my dad drove it in. Anyways my dad ended up paying 1082$ for a car they completely ruined. And now we have to tow the car and deal with all of that. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

First of all, the negotiations were all verbal and Dovlet said it'll be $190 for 1.5 hrs of work plus the clips to fix my window that wouldn't go back up. I said cool sounds good went to lunch came back in LESS than an hour and walked in on Dovlet and his assistant PLAYING ON THEIR PHONES in their little office...I asked if it was done cuz I didn't get a call like he said he would, and they both look flustered and said "Ohh yea we just finished". That was already sketch to me like whatever ok I'll just pay the $190. When I ask if there is any type of paperwork about the work done I gotta sign he says, "Yea here sign this" and it was the little receipt that you sign for when you slide your debit card from a reader and THATS IT! NO INVOICE NO NOTHING! I said sooo if I have the same problem I can just come back and you'll fix it right? He said yea just come back.... ONE WEEK LATER. Rolled window all the way down and won't go back up! Called Dovlet, told him, he said "ohh now that might be the regulator that's gonna cost $480-$500" RIDICULOUS.
