It was also the same time that this store introduced the brand new self-check out stations. An employee (and she knows who she is) was supposed to be monitoring the self-check out stations. However she told a police officer on site that I was not paying for my items. When I showed the police the receipt, there was no apology from the police or anyone from publix. I don't usually listen to other customer's complaints about racial profiling. However, I believe that the employee singled me out and Lied to the police (which is a crime), at a time when the city was trying to prepare for a snow storm/warning.

Every single time I shop here, the team is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. It never feels forced. There's just a different energy at this location, and it's something I've consistently noticed over the years. Of course, the parking can be a little interesting at times. It gets busy, people are trying to navigate the lot, and every now and then it feels like everyone forgot how to drive for a minute. But honestly, that's the least of my concerns. The parking is free, and once I'm inside, the experience more than makes up for any extra few minutes it might take to find a space. What keeps me coming back is the hospitality. Shopping for groceries may seem like a routine errand, but the people here make it feel a little more enjoyable every time. It's the kind of place where employees are happy to answer questions, help you find what you're looking for, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I'll happily drive a little farther for that kind of experience. Great customer service is hard to beat, and this Trader Joe's continues to get it right.

One of the reasons why I don't shop here as often as I'd like is that I've come here a few times shopping for produce and found that many of the fruits and vegetables were picked over so much that the remaining bananas were bruised, the onions had mushy parts and the apples had soft parts. I guess that comes with the fact that this is a very busy Kroger. In my opinion, Kroger stores are less expensive than Publix, but overall quality of items at Kroger stores are also lower, but, just like everything else, you just have to be aware of the prices of items that you buy. Kroger stores sell Kroger brands of items; sometimes they're just as good as other name brands, and sometimes they're not. Customers can get a Kroger Plus Shopper's Card from customer service. With this card, customers can get sale prices on items while also earning gas points that they can apply at Kroger gas stations to decrease their gas prices. Not all Krogers have gas stations; this Kroger does have one.

Here's the awesome topping, I was refunded for my bread purchase...of course still charged for my Sub. The Vegan Sub ingredients include Lightlife SmartBacon strips, Unreal Roasted Turkey slices, Follow Your Heart Smoked Gouda Cheese, Publix's own Ranch Dressing & all the garden fixin's. They are fast for the purpose of stealing your money, so people need to take their time and check their receipt when they are buying a lot. I think when buying a lot is when the thieving cashiers strike. I got there at 7pm and my total was $277.81, it was more than I usually get, I even asked the lady that it seems some things were scanned twice but she said no, only to get home and found out the added charge. They have no phone number on the receipt and the one I called directed me to online. I'm never leaving the store again without checking my receipt no matter how large the groceries is and what time it is. Those are the two factors the cashier took advantage of.
